Some one called me from this number in said they were. Going to issue a warrent for my arrest if I didn't pay 790.45 in they had the last 4 digits of my as number

I was scammed by these people3 weeks ago and wish I had of googled the number before I paid the money. Now I have to figure out how to get it back. I'm a single mom who just dropped one son off at college and have another high functioning Autistic son at home. And in no way have any money to be throwing away to scammers. Anyone who has any information that can not only help me recover my money but also shut these people down please let me know. I will be contacting the BBB as well as the FTC but would like to put these scammers in Jail!

I received a call from a blocked number and then a vm from a Ms. Jackson from the County Liaison's Office.  She was calling regarding case # blah blah blah.  She had my maiden name, my birthdate, and the last four digits of my ss #.  She said the Department of Legal Services had filed a case against me and that they would be serving me this Friday between 12 and 2 at an address I haven't lived at for more than 13 years!  I called this 888 number and the scag that answered tried to get info off me but when she wouldn't tell me the name of the business I laughed and said Buh Bye!  While I was hanging up I heard her say... you have a nice day.  DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM.  

Some woman whose name I've forgotten. She told me that there was a case from July 2003, I was on security camera and my face matched the license that was on filed. She explained that I could just simply pay the installment payments of 143.75 for 4 months until the debt was paid. Something told me to do a reverse phone number look up and this website is what I found. ((SMH)) After reading all of the comments. I left the house and went to the bank and spoke to one of my bank reps. and I asked for a different debit card. Because the woman got my debit card number and the security number on the back. So I needed a new card. These people are using new methods just to get your money.... SHAME!

I just got a call Saying the exact same thing as stated in previous comments. Her name was Jennifer Carter. Cannot find the website she gave...calling my county clerks office now..... to see if the have any info about these so called charges...Oh my gosh I am so tired of this s***.

This same women just called me as well she never told me the amount she said i was being charged for never said she was a debt collector nothing i asked her about her company info she couldt tell me anything like she didnt know her own company info I don't know what to do

This company just called me told me my whole SS# and told me I had 2 criminal charges against me when i asked for their company info she acted as if she didn't know her own company's info how do i go about finding out if this is true what shes saying the charges are are from 8 years ago how do i find out if all this is true she said i would be served in the next 24-48 hours i asked for their website address she didn't even know it SOMEONE HELP AND TELL ME WHAT I NEED TO DO THANKS she also never told me she was a debit collector or that my call was being recorded how can they do this when its the law they have to inform you they are a debt collector and your calls being recorded

We received a call Wednesday the 18th from her. She told my husband that he could pay $700 within 48 hours or he would be served and then have $10,000 garnished. He almost sent the money. I contacted our police department after googling the phone number and was told under no circumstances to pay. I personally called Jennifer Carter today and told her we had reported her to the police. She accused me of being "10" and needless to say I let her have it. I hope she calls me directly... she gave us a false website and when we asked for proof she said she wasn't able to provide that information. I called her out on all the stuff when I got her on the phone. She didn't even answer the phone in a professional manner...just "Hello". I'm sorry, but if it is a legitimate company you would expect a legitimate greeting.

I got the same call freaked out my boyfriend got on the phone told the guy off. He had some girl call back and leave a vm on my phone saying she was miss hamlet from the  police department and they were on their way to a serve me. lol thanks for the heads up. Yea they never came. The debt was 10 years. I got in touch with my attorney generals office and turned them in. He says this scam is all around. so I urge you to turn them in so maybe one day they can get caught.

I asked if I could receive some type of paperwork, to verify these claims. I was transferred to a man that was very rude and threating to me. He stated that the Legal Offices had stopped at my house numerous time to serve me paperwork, which I have none of! They threatened me with huge fines and warrants for my arrest. Funny thing is I live in a town of 300 people so Its funny that the legal office couldn't find my house LOL which is two blocks away, and I live on a Indian Reservation which no outside Law Enforcement can come and enforce there laws onto me on a Reservation! These jokers are scam artist REPORT THEM and TELL them to get F****D!!!!

I was referred to this number by someone claiming to be from a nonexistent county agency whose own phone number was blocked. The caller said that papers would be served the next day between 2 and 4, and that I should call this number if I didn't want to go to court. The person I ended up talking to said he was working for an independent company based in New York.

The alleged debt was at least 13 years ago based on the employer info they had, and the worst part is that they already had my Social Security number.

Time to file a complaint with the FBI...

I recieved a call from a david young. He said he was my county official. I asked why hes calling private and he said for their companys protection against harassment (which makes sense in a way, especially seeing whats on the internet) I let him continue his conversation with and he told me he legally couldnt authorizd information to call j.c and associates. So I did. I asked them for a email giving me some sort of anything! I recieved it, so I then persued to pay the bad check and 4 weeks later I recieved all my information in the mail. How they go about their business it a little weird and they are rude but I got everything I asked for.

Just received call saying I would be served @ home & work. I asked if he said @ my work too & he said yes for both Norfolk & Beach county.  I clearly wasn't familiar with caller & him not educated with were he was calling.  L will be reporting scam.

I got a VM from a Nicholas Lyons @ JC & Asso, saying the same thing. I can't figure out how they got my phone number and information. I just got this # a few months ago. This is crazy! I have had debt in the past and when ever they called I was told even through VM what the issues were and who they were with. This guy didn't say anything about what company he was representing via the debt or anything.

I received call from Jasmine Kirkwood , she left voicemail stating that she got a fax on her desk with my name and social # and needed to speak with me before they pursued legal action against me....I did not get the message till midnight and decided to look up the # she left on the VM and found this site....Glad that I did. Everyone was very informative...I will not return or accept their calls...Thanks Guys

same thing here, called and said they were sending a marshall down to arrest me for a 10 year old debt.  (staute of limitations)said they were a third party interest and wanted to verify my entire ss number, not...scam people who have both of our cell phone numbers.zombie debt only have one repo on my record which is coming off next year.idiots...

Only two people can garnish your wages, child support and the IRS. Don't let these horrible people get to you! Make sure they know you'll call the FCC. Recvd call from Paul sumbody.   Said he recvd a fax.  Gave case # and said he will be in the area tomorrow  between 12-   4 pm and will serve me.   Also, left # for me to call.

Got a call from Paul San George stating that he would be in my area to serve me papers for a case and rattled off a case number.  He said he was with The Fine Firm.  Looked it up and there is a Fine Firm in New Mexico but they are accident lawyers.  He told me that I would need a valid ID and witness to sign for my papers.  Clearly this is a SCAM.  Good thing I am a finance law student and know my rights.

these are definetly scam artists, i took out 1 payday loan in 2008 that i still need to pay back, these people called in january of this year and i paid it thinking it would go to court. in march i got another one claiming the same thing in 2008, so reluctantly i paid it twice. they called last week and said another one from 2008 i told them hell no i don't owe anymore. i paid twice for the same thing, they just called today, and i told them to take me to court i still have the paperwork from january, which was paid. the lady hung up on me. do not fall for this scam, that is what it is. do not give your info out unless the site is very secure.

A Jasmine Kirkwood called looking for my husband claiming he has old debt and he will be served tomorrow unless he calls back. I have been getting calls from these types of people for the last month and off and on through the year, same old scam, number is different every time though. I will keep on reporting these scammers who are trying to take from someone who does not have debt especially a payday loan debt
