Came to work Monday morning and found 4 missed calls logged on my phone.  All were from 888-502-7225. 1 Friday, 2 Saturday and 1 Sunday.  I have NOT been shopping for a car.  Sounds like an automatic dialing program to me.

Been receiving calls from this number throughout today. Picked up the call once but just hung up right after. I believe it is related to the car dealership that i submitted my phone number to just yesterday at edmunds.com for quotes about car deals. I hope these calls will stop soon.

Received a call on my cell phone for the first time this morning, they didn't leave a message but yesterday I filled out an online request through VW about a new car...I called back and same thing, "all circuits are busy".

I was in the market for a new car... and i bought one this past weekend, but I did have to do research on bluebook and other sites in order to make that decision.  Based on what I'm reading from what you all have written here, I assume it must be related to that research...  I don't know what to say or do.  I don't know how to track them down or block them, but if I answer (which I won't), this eats up mobile minutes.  what to do...

I got a call on my unlisted cell phone from 888-502-7225 at 7pm 10/2. They didn't leave a msg.
The most recent place I listed my number was on the Federal no-call list. I have to wonder if that's where they got it.

I just email Ford yesterday. About a quote for a trade in.  Now I'm getting these calls.  This is getting trying. I have this number and 616-980-2800.
Who is doing anything about this?

This same number called my personal cell phone at 9:10am this morning, I answered and they hung up. Then at 9:12am the same number called my direct work number and when I answered they hung up. Very inconsiderate!

I also contacted dealerships for car info and now I have been getting these calls. I answered one and they just hung up. Its very annoying because I dont see the point of calling if u have nothing to say. I have reported them to the FTC-Do Not Call List because all my numbers are registered.

I, too keep getting daily calls from 888-502-7225.  I think it has something to do with the shopping I am doing for a new Acura.

These guys are pretty persistent.  They never leave any message, but have called at least 10 times so far.  This is not just annoying, but I am considering filing a complaint with my phone carrier and the FCC.

1 888-502-7225... It appears I've run into the same issue. The calls just started a day ago just one day after we visited Crossroads Ford in Cary. I don't pick it up because I rarely pick up calls I don't recognize nor any call coming from a 1800 or 1888 number. I'm certainly not calling it back either.

It's 11PM here and that's the latest call thus far. Pretty rude for the south, I'd say. Not sure what to do just yet. However, I'll figure out a way to have some fun with them. Reverse the tables on them. Love stuff like that.

I'm going to block this number - ridiculous.

It is a company called Elead. They do phone surveys for car dealerships and ask you about the service you received. I work at causeway ford and sadly they call me as well. ha

3 calls in less then 24 hours, they never leave a message so I cant return their call.  It must not be to important.  If it continues, it will become an issue.

I test drove a Chrysler at Bob Moore Chrysler in Oklahoma City, OK about 3 weeks ago.  That is the only new car dealership I've dealt with.  So, they must have gotten it from that automotive group.

I get calls from 888-502-7225 daily...just purchased a new car on 8/21/07

I went to Atlanta this weekend and stopped at Gene Evans Ford to purchase wheels and tires. First thing Monday morning I received a call from this number. I didn't get to answer and sure enough, they called again Tuesday. Just before I could get to the phone, they hung up again. Is it the phone stalker? I hope this don't continue.

I've gotten 4 calls from this number in the last 5 days.  I have no idea who is calling me.

The phone number "888-502-7225" is not from a specific car dealership.  If you enter your phone number on ANY car website - Edmunds, Blue Book, Black Book, etc to price the value of your trade or to obtain a price for a listed car, it automatically is sent out.  The car dealership generally does not have any control over it; they're just using the services of the website for pricing, etc.  

They will not stop calling even if you ask them to do so.  I have requested three times to be put on a "no call" list and have since blocked the phone number with my phone company.

If this is a collection or credit company, they had better cease calling my number. Same type of call, but mine is early evening. annoying to say the least, I will attempt to get them to stop.
I too foolishly put my number in a Internet car purchase inquiry.

I got a call from this number yesterday at 4:25pm Hawaii Time.

The caller asked for me by name, to which I replied this is he, who the hell is this?

The caller indicated he was calling on behalf of Cutter Ford (Hawaii Dealership) about a recent inquiry. (I did inquire, and I specified I did not want my contact informations shared)

I asked if he was calling from the dealership or calling from a company representing the dealership.

He indicated he worked for a customer service company called "New Beginnings".

I reiterated to him that I have recieved several calls with NO MESSAGE and that that was VERY unprofessional conduct for a legitimate customer service operation.

I also informed him that I was to recieve no further calls from their company for ANY REASON EVER AGAIN.

They can also reiterate to the dealership that they have lost ANY opportunity to do business with me as a result of them using an unprofessional customer service organization.

I have gotten about 20 calls from this number with no message left.  I don't answer because it has no I.D.   It is definitely auto shopping related because I have been on a few web pages of dealerships locally and they only have my cell number to call me with a price quote/availability.  Why did I give them my cell?&^%%$@@#.  I think it probably is a huge joke around dealers to send your phone number to these rats if you don't buy their car.   Auto sales people do play games with your credit reports and other personal information,  DON'T GIVE IT OUT.

it's a contractor for auto dealerships.  the company is under contract with many car companies & dealerships around the country to do an "after visit" customer service survey.  if you visit a dealership online or in-person, buy a car or have your car serviced at a dealership, your number goes into a database submitted to this "aftermarket" company and they call trying to get feedback per their contract with the car companies/websites/service centrers. so it's not exactly "unsolicited."  so the "do not call" list probably doesn't apply.  they will try several times before giving up; depending on the aggressiveness of the operator working the phonebank when your number comes up as "active."

This number is some type of Car service satisfaction survey. I had my car serviced and they call and call and call until they reach you. Very annoying.

Yup.... every day for the past few days.. no message... and yes i left the number at edmunds.com  :-(

I had been receiving calls day after day from this number.  It called today on my cell and I was able to answer it in time to find out that it is Toyota in Atlanta GA, calling by computer dialing, which hangs up after a few rings, and leaves no identifying information.  I am reporting this to the internet manager at my local Toyota dealer, where I previously emailed for some info about a car purchase.  Obviously my email is transferred to Atlanta for the incessant calling.

I have received two calls from them on my cell also, so I checked and it may be from Intelliprice with a link to someone named Vanessa Carlton.  I visited the Mercury website and filled in a link for a trde quote aand that was the site it went to. This will be the last time I ever use a link to get ANY quote for a car, insurance, etc.

Repeated calls keep coming. It is a survey company wanting opinion of recent visit to auto dealership. If you call back you get a recording that they will call you back later! There's apparently no way to stop the calls unless you answer!

if it is about visiting a car dealership, then answering does  not get them to stop calling.  I have already answered a call at home, and they still keep calling my cell phone.  I've tried to call back to tell them to remove my number from their list, but I just get "all circuits busy."
