Same thing is happening to us...calling and calling, threatening to serve legal documents, etc. Like ANYONE who is going to serve a document will call and let you know...give me a break. This is ridiculous! Not to mention, it's annoying! Do not be fooled by 1-888-505-2895!!!

There was a voicemail on my son's phone to call 888-505-6045 with a case # and said he was a person of interest.  My son passed away in 2010 -- so this is just sick!

just recieved a vm call from the number 888-505-6045 gave me a case # and I tried to call number back and it was disconnected. Is this a scam or what?

these fools called me....left a case number i couldn't understand. my payment was $100  2 years ago. been asking since then for paperwork.. they cussed me and my attorney out because we have been asking for paperwork. sent me an email from NY that i owed now $287 and next it would be in the thousands... sent a fax to my work FOR GARNISHMENTS wanting personal information... I got the fax idiots... reported them the the BBB and local PD ..... THEY need to get a real job instead of trying to take other peoples money...

I just received a call from the same company today, from Melissa Goldstein,from Goldstein Bruckmeyer and Marsh(888-206-9018). She said that I was going to receive a summons to go to court if I didn't call back with in 24 hours. I called back on my lunch and she said I took a loan out from Check'n'go back in 2007 ,with a check from a credit union I've never had. And an address I hadn't lived in for about 8 months. I said that was not me, and I wanted proof. I've cashed checks there and knew they take photo copy of your drivers license, you finger print and have your bank account info. All of which she wouldn't provide me. I then told her that I used to work for the DOD(Department of Defense) and that my fingerprint was on file. They could verify by that that wasn't me. When I requested she send me all of this, she said they hadn't received it yet. After I made the statement about working for the government, she got quiet and wouldn't ask any more questions. I called back to speak to her, and spoke w/ a receptionist. I requested they fax all of this to me now, and call to confirm. Yup, no call or fax came in. Maybe I play their game and call them constantly. Who should I contact? should i  call the police, credit burea and my bank and let them know??

They are a law office.

This is not a law office....it's a scam to get money from you. It's ILLEGAL what they are doing and DO NOT give them any money or your bank account information. They will try to threaten you and leave messages that no legit law firm is legally allowed to do. Do no fall for this!

Missed a call

I am constantly getting calls from this number at home and work.  They say I have 48 hours to contact them or a summons will be served on me for check fraud in my county.  I feel this is a scam but I am worried that someone may serve me and I can't afford to go to jail cuz then I would lose my job.  I just wish they would leave me alone.

I and my family received the same call.  Stting i would be prosecuted for fraud and that papers
were being sent to our local courthouse.  The number I was called from is 1-888-206-9018.

This place is a total scam. Report them to your local attorney general's office as well as the FCC (Federal Communications Commission). By law no one is allowed to threaten you or leave messages with just whoever answers the phone that you are going to be sued or have a court case against you. They will not come to your home to sever you papers.....just a scare tactic to scam you out of money. Everytime they call report them.

They have been harassing me the past few weeks,also! My mother-in-law called me and told me some guy is trying to get hold of me from an attorney's office but he wouldnt give her his info - just said he is suing me. He called back again and she got his name and # and it is a collection agency called Goldstein, Bruckmeyer and Marsh in New York - with the same fax number  (716-691-2442)of a Check Administration services that I already paid back in Jan '09. I told them I paid CAS back in January '09 and I could give them proof but I had to get copies of my bank statements from back then. A few days later a guy called me saying he was a process server and he needed to serve me papers - I asked him what address he had and he said "I have a lot of addresses" which means he doesnt have s***- he also told me to call them so I could make arrangements. If they already filed papers then they would not want me to make arrangements with them. After researching them I found out that Check Admin Svcs went out of business a few months before this Goldstein company got incorporated..hmmm...that's kind of a coincidence!! After I talked to this "Melissa Goldstein" I started thinking about the nasty woman I talked to back in Dec of 08 making threats if I didnt pay the whole balance and I had 2 charges against me for check fraud and "malicious intent to defraud" or something like that -   the voice sounded a lot like that woman!! These people are low-life scumbag individuals that do not have a conscience - I don't know how they can sleep at night!!   Same damn people but they got shut down because of so many complaints and opened right back up under a different name - google the fax # and see all the info about the companies under that same fax # - it's ridiculous!

This place is a BIG scam, yesterday I talked two several people and today they call and clearly it was a Melissa Goldstein (she claimed to be) and she said hi im Melissa Rime and I need to get this collection taken care of immediatly or your going to court. I said to her send me court papers I guess I'll see you in court and her reply was yelling at me and then she hung up. So Ovsiouly this is a big scam She almost got me for $400.00 but if I hadn't researched it first then I would be out. BEWARE!!! It was for a cash advance  loan in 2006.

They call over and over again stateing that they are from a law firm Goldstein, Bruckmeyer, and Marsh located in New York. They claim that they were hired by a payday loan cash advance place and that they are collecting for a cash advance in 2006. It is a harsh foreign man who claims to be Andrew Bruckmeyer, and his partner is Melissa Goldstein. They try to get you to make arangements they tell you if you don't make payment then they will garnish your wages, suspend your license, ans send you to jail. The funny thing is they tell you a crazy amount of like 3 to 4 thousand dollars, and then you start asking questions and wanting there agent numbers or address and a paper sent to you stateing what it was for and then they hang up on you. At one point they were yelling calling name basically they were getting mad because I wouldn't give in.  First of all how did they get this information. This is a SCAM don't give in and give them ANY information or money they will try to drain your account and steal your money. SCAMMERS!!!!

What he is meaning is, they called and stated he was Andrew Bruckmeyer and he was a private investigator, that he had a old pay day loan from back in 2006 and said the amout was $4,000 with fees from over the years. Then in a matter of seconds after being put on hold Andrew Bruckmeyer cam back stateing that he had talked to his partner Melissa Goldstein and they contacted the company in the County that the summons was for and they would take $377.00 and set up payments. Then a few weeks later got another call (harassing call) stateing that the payment didn't go threw and it was another bounced check and that his drivers license was going to be suspended. Andrew Bruckmeyer and Melissa Goldstein both got VERY RUDE and kept hanging up on Matthew. When he started asking questions and the questions got tuff they hung up. Asked for a offical letterhead of what this was for and an address to the so called company they were calling from in New York and they hung up and Andrew Bruckmeyers response was call back tomorrow. So after doing a little research they DO NOT exhist. DO NOT pay these people they are scams. They have been reported to the BBB and our local Police department. Luckly they only got $6.00 from us but it card was deactivated and our payment will be refunded threw our bank.  SO IF I WERE YOU OR ANYONE WHO CHECKS THESE NUMBERS OUT DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION. THEY ARE SCAMMERS!!!!
