I just got a blocked call.  It was a woman, who left a voicemail for someone I've never heard of, along with a case number, and demanding that the person in question has 2 hours to call this phone number.  It sounds like some type of scam to me, as I can't believe it would be legal to leave someone's name and case number on a voicemail.  What's very confusing is, my voicemail greeting states my actual name, so the caller should have known they were not calling the person in question?  Hopefully I won't continue to get a call from this number as other people are stating they have.

I too have been receiving threatening calls from this number to serve me with a summons at my place of employment and that this is directly from the state in which I reside, I do plan on following up with legal actions of my own for this harassment and false information.

They called my cell phone and office phone too. They are threatening to file a summons in two hours for fraud.  I don't answer their phone calls because I had other calls and after I call and ask them legal questions they stop calling.

Getting phone calls from this number almost daily--asking for a person that does not even live with me.
The calls are more or less threatening, not to mention menacing!

I just thought of something if you have a number to call if they give you one each person should call that number like 50 times and hang up everytime someone says hello.  Maybe they'll take a hint.  I ended up putting 90 days of free credit monitoring so they will notify me if anyone tries to pull my credit.

I keep getting blocked/unknown calls on my cell phone from this place where they wont give the name of their company but state that they are the State of Vermont process server company and I am up on felony fraud charges against a banking institution.  Never even heard of that before much less know what thats all about.  Supposedly the Franklin County Authorities were going to come serve me papers (which never happened) and she threatened me stating that if I didnt call her back that they were going to come take me to jail.  I called the VT Consumer line to inquire and they told me it definitely sounds like a scam and I also called the VT State Police and the trooper told me that authorities would "never" notify a person in advance of serving papers and he said it is a scam too.  This lady has been calling from a Texas phone number until today now the # is blocked.  She left me a message today saying I failed to appear to a court date (not true) and that the courts would proceed without me present and she was going to contact my employer (I am unfortunately unemployed right now) and she will have my wages garnished.  This lady gave me 2 different names from last week to this week.  She has called my moms house and threatened, my mother in laws house with the same message and she called my dads house as well.  She tried telling my mom today that she was "in" the state of VT (yeah right).  Like I said she will not even give the name of the company.

Did you keep getting phone calls saying something about court dates and felony charges and other stuff like that?
