They called my parents overseas at their 1 am and told them I had a warrant out for my arrest and that I had 3 hrs to settle this issue. I panicked trying to figure out what I could have done wrong. When I did finally call them, with a friend listening in, they said it was not a warrant and I could either settle now out of court or something else. They refused to answer to anyone or even be on speaker phone with anyone else but me and would only give me limited information. My friend told me to ask if they had filed in my county, which they made it seem like they did, and they said no. When my friend got back on the phone because he figured it was a scam they hung up on him.

Claimed to be from the county...which is not true of course. I did not provide any personal information.

Thats funny but I received last week a phone called from Anthorey Brown telling me that I owe money
for a credit card... I did however call back the number 1-888-535-2543 and they said CORPORATE OFFICE .. TO WHAT....

Law Dog should know that these bottom feeding pukes are violating the "Fair Debt Act". Its hard to believe that these low lives would think that any person with half a brain would give them access to anything they have. I think minor offenders should be released to open up jail space for these A**holes.

I received a call from this number today and they said they were from the county that I lived in and had a summons that required my signature.  They mentioned that they would only try to contact me three times...I called the number they left and heard someone answer the phone "Corporate Offices" and I hung up.  Should I even pay any attention to this?

They in fact have 5 unanswered complaints with the BBB, at least under one of the names they use.  Their address is a PO box.  The person answering the phone says "corporate offices", probably because they use several different names.  You are obviously a shill.

saying I had a case that they were trying to settle. didn't call them, because i know i do not owe any money.

These people called my NEXT DOOR NEIGHBOR and explained that they were trying to serve a summons.  YEAH, that's right, serve a court summons.  They explained to my neighbor that I was supposed to be in court that day and it was OK if I couldn't make it but to call and let them know.  The call back number they gave to my neighbor was a FAX NUMBER.  Not very bright.  If there are any attorneys out there, I have a question.  Isn't this a major breach of confidentiality?  The fact that they actually discussed this with my next door neighbor only goes to show that they don't know what they are doing.

these guys wont tell what i owe, who i owe it to, and threaten me with serving me with papers. telling me they have made attempts to settle. settle what, for whom. and the name they have is so wrong, they tell me i have to prove who i am. i dont have that burden, but i have to suffer the phone calls and threats

Your post is baffling in several respects:
1. "dirty work" -- nobody has any problems with any debt collector collecting per the FDCPA or suing debtors in court per proper procedure so are any of them breaking the law in their activities?
2. "They are also affiliated with over 2000 process servers!" -- debtors will be served by the courts, not the plaintiffs, so what if they are affiliated with process servers?
3. "Debt buyers and collection agencies are using these guys to slam consumers with lawsuits" -- debtors face the threat of lawsuit every day so this isn't news to anyone, are you just trying to scare debtors into paying?

You've made several claims about this collector without posting references and come across as a shill. The FDCPA bans deception, shilling is deception, this collecting is breaking the law if you are a shill.

I don't have any idea who these people are, getting these calls at my work number.  I am so mad, sick and tired of these friggen B.S, "lawyer" companies just acting like complete blood suckers and buillies and think thye have the right to call and harrass-threaten anyone they want into paying them some money.

I got a call from this number eariler today.  they wanted to speak to my neighbor.  I guess they have started calling the neighbors of the folks on their list.  I called them back but got a voice mail.

I guess I am frustrated because I added a second phone line at my home 9 months ago just for work.  Basically I make work related calls and I expect my work to call me on that number or maybe a vendor to call me if I have given them my number.  How or why these people have this number is a mystry to me.

I know my neighbor has never had this number.  

What frustrates me is that I get at least 1 or 2 wrong numbers a day on my phone.  It's always from people like this.  While speaking to them they acted like they were with Lexington SC county processing department.  They never would tell me "Who they were or where they were calling from"

I wish these people could find a better way to reach the intended party instead of calling the wrong number!

I checked out their business. They are a national organization.They have 6 offices. Main office is in Ca... other offices are in NY, TX, FL, PA and AZ. This is a very crafty company. They do attorney outsourcing. So they are off the hook in terms of licensing and bonds. They don't do any of the actual dirty work so they have virtually no complaints with the BBB.They let the lawyers handle all the actual lawsuits. They have over 350 lawyers around the country in their network. I verified thru the Martindale directory of Attorneys. They are also affiliated with over 2000 process servers! Debt buyers and collection agencies are using these guys to slam consumers with lawsuits in order to collect money. Not very nice guys but legal. I will keep a lookout for more info and post it here
