Look up a local FBI phone number write it down by the phone. When these people call say "Oh he or she moved, but I have the new number" and then give the number you have written down. If they start harassing the Federal Government it won't last long.
Or get their name and insist on their real name not the phone they are giving on the phone. Tell them you are going to send a payment when you get home (as if they are calling you a work now). make sure you have the correct name for them and the company they work for. Start calling their employer saying you are from another competing debt collector and that this person has applied and you are going to hire them as soon as you verify their current employer, make sure you drop in little hints of how bad they said their current employer is.
Is it wrong to do most of this stuff? Yes, but is it right from them to continually harass you over someone elses debt? I've worked in these positions they won't take you off any list as they suspect you are always who they are calling for and trying to out fox them.
This company keeps calling my office phone looking for some lady and when I say she no longer works for us they say ok...and they call back the very next day! Please stop calling my business and find who you are looking for!
Stop Calling me
This number calls in the evening and all through the daylight hours. I owe no debts to no one.
If you are getting harrassing calls, send a certified Cease and Desist letter to them demanding that they stop calling your number. Send the letter to:
Redline Recovery Services, LLC
5959 Corporate Drive, Suite 1400
Houston, TX 77036
I get the same call. Many times waking me up very early in the morning. I've tried calling them to have my number removed, but they say it is not in the system.
I keep getting calls from this number. Many have woken me up. I have called them several times, but they claim that my number is not in the system. How do I stop this ?
The voicemail said Redline Recovery Services, a debt collection agency but the message doesn't say who they are attempting to call, just to call them back that they can help you reduce the amount of the debt.
they call me from this # twoo times dayly i don't know how they want to talk to they just say they want to get debt pay
Called my house, I answered, they hung up.
Called at least 1 dozen times. Never left name of person wants. When pick up the phone as they are leaving msg, won't let you tell them they have wrong number. Redline Recovery Services. Told them never to call again.
they call my mother's house....it's a pre-recorded message....they never say who they are calling for
My workplace got a call from this place, asking for me. I have been dealing with the companies I owe money to (a whole two places, of which have been paid on time), and every single time I try to call them, the line isn't in service, and/or is busy... often not though it just simply hangs up when someone does answer. I think the worst part about places like this, is that you can pay off a debt, as my friend did, and they can just sell the account and four years later you get another debt collector on the same account you paid off. So a word to those people who pay off their debts... keep your receipts, keep your confirmation numbers, and letters. Because sooner or later, you will need them. But don't ever deal with places like this, their practices are often not illegal. Talk to the company you owe money to, and they will work something out with you, without the mafia like tactics. They can't come to your house and/or get you fired or have the police arrest you, all they can do is take you to court... which nine out of ten times they will not waste their time doing. I just wish they would stop calling my work place.
Received a phone call from this number. The caller did not leave any message.
automated debt collection number. routinely calls my company's toll-free #. the automated message requests a callback to the same number.
Redline Recovery Services called me using this number. They claimed I had a debt that they were hired to retrieve for my creditor. They claimed to not be a telemarketer. However, they also claimed they could help me lower my debt by a large percentage. The call was an automated message.
They continue to call and never speak they just hang up. They have called my cell over 20 times with in 1 hour........
call them back and tell them your phone #. they'll give you a name. if it's not your name they'll remove your phone # from their database.
These a-holes called me daily for weeks last fall. I sent a "Cease and Desist" letter to their Atlanta address, but it was returned as "Undeliverable". I also filed a complaint with the FTC (via the "Do Not Call) site. They left me alone for about 6 months. They are back at it with the same recorded messages described by the others here. Just filed another complaint. And, get this... the SOBs just called with the same damn message while I was typing this.
I filed a complaint on the do not call website. You should do the same. I do not know who they are calling but I get several calls each day with a general message to call back.
Left message saying Redline Recovery Services a debt collector claiming that they can save you money. Never said who they were trying to contact
Redline Recovery Services a debt collection company. Never said who they were trying to contact in their message.
This number has called my private cell 20+ times with in one hour. I answer and they hang up. I send it to Voice mail and they do not leave a message. Very upset..................
wish this company stop calling if i owe another company i will pay them and not this company so they need too stop there harassament to me i don"t need it and plus i don"t have any funds if i do owe leave me alone iam very ill and need no one to continue to call especially redline.
These clowns keep calling me using this or their 866-482-9910 number. They are looking for someone else. I have lived here for 10 years, and have had my phone number for going on 13 years. Either their lackeys are incapable of dialing a phone number correctly, or somebody gave them a wrong number. You'd think they'd call the phone company to verify whose number they have been calling. Next time they call, I am threatening legal action.
this company keeps calling my house and asking for a chis malicheck ( not sure on the spelling ) .
I constantly tell them that there is nobody here by this name, they say that they will fix it yet the next day and another call.
Unfortunately this guy must have had this number prior to me moving in here and getting this number 3yrs ago. Seems like he owes everybody, but still I wish I could convince the collectors that I am not him an to leave me alone.......
calles several times a day
The voicemail said Redline Recovery Services, a debt collection agency, that can save you money. They did not leave a name for who they are trying to reach.
