I got a call from 888-563-0237. the man had a mean sounding voice and asked for me by my first and last name and when I answered he hung up quickly.  I don't like how he knew my name.

Very rude caller.  Would not listen to me when I informed him I was on the do not call registry and to remove my name from their list. Hung up on me when I wouldn't give as little as $10.  Wanted a donation to help the veterans.  

Recieve multiple calls a day saying this is an important message about my credit card debt.....even if I answer they can't help me and refuse to take me off their calling list.  How do I stop these calls?????

Received numerous calls from this number over the past week or more.  No messages left.  Comes up unavailable on caller id.  Very annoying and harassing.  Am on do not call registry.  I am getting to the point where I am going to notify all the proper authorities to stop this harassment.  Had enough.

This caller is every bit aggravating as the other posts indicate.  I too receive two to four calls from this number each day and the majority of the time I answer the call, only dead air is present.  My answering machine keeps the number connected for a few seconds and a dial tone is observed.  I suspect the "hang-up" or "dead-air" calls may be computer generated to test for real bodies and then followed up by another 800 or 866 caller.  I refused to answer these calls anymore.  Now, by calling the number back to obtain the caller information it is possible to be falling into a scam costing you dearly for your call!  

We receive multiple calls during the day from this number.  After the phone is answered, they hang up, or they refuse to identify themselves.

Calls from this company has been going on for months, 2 to 3 times a day. Ready to get rid of my home phone...Blah!!

Calls from this number come in almost daily!  I answer them because I have several companies with 800, 888, or 877 numbers.  (new mortgage for one)  I let them usually go to the answering machine first.  This number never leaves a message, for some reason.  Hmmm.   Being on the do not call list doesn't help because these companies either seize unassigned numbers or can tap into registered numbers (kind of like identity theft) to send scammer calls.  I just don't answer when they call. Better than me getting aggravated all day.  I tell anyone who calls to just start talking when my machine picks up.  If I recognize them, I'll definitely answer.

I got my call this morning. They called my wife 'immature' for asking to be taken off the list. People, the FCC is closed; but, keep a record and call them or complain online when and if they re-open.

This morning we got a call from 888-563-0237. When my wife answered, they argued with her. When asked to be taken off the list, they said, "That's very immature of you." (She's 72 and probably more mature than that idiot's mother.) Si, cabrón--tu mamá! Tried to report them, but the FCC is closed! We will carefully record the information and call the FCC if and when they ever get back to work.

Female caller wanted to talk to me about my electric bill. Selling independent electric service. Many calls like this here as we now have an option. I said we had already signed up with another company, stop calling. She said she had never talked to me before, I said well, she was never going to talk to me again.  She was rude and persistent.  I hung up.  

Came in identified only as Toll Free Call. Usually I don't answer these, but was hoping to be taken off their list.  Hope this doesn't register my number as available now!  

Calls three times a day....hang up when you pick up. Very disgusted at this point

the second call, I answered and said nothing.  the caller, a male, called my name twice to get me to answer. before you could say 'boo', I disconnected the call.  the next time I'll have my whistle ready...........

we are getting a high volume of calls originating from this number.
naturally these calls are not answered as I do not want to validate my phone number.
no sense reporting this to the DNC register - they do very little to ward off these annoying calls

I use ATT uverse which has a call blocking feature. It works great for individual numbers, but the problem is these spammers use multiple numbers to get around it. Why can't I just block all calls from area code 888 or 877. I've never once had a called I actually wanted from these area codes, yet ATT insists I enter 10 digits when I want to block a number. Why? That in itself is some kind of scam!

I've ask them numerous times to stop calling and they still call.

This number has been identified numerous times by my phone as a caller but no message is left.

These BOZOs are always collecting for at best, quasi-legitimate charities, like the ones that collect for things like "the NY Chiefs of Police" and then give 10% of what they collect to the organization they are pretending to be from. These are the same jerks who used to be called telemarketers and who used to sell everything from scams to vitamins.

When will congress stop this harassment of everyday Americans by these blood-sucking leeches. They must really contribute a lot to these politicos.

They've started up again.  I got the same spiel as 'Western Michigan' on 12 Nov 2009, except they hung up as I was offering to take a message.

Charities are NOT exempt from the "do not call list" Report them if they call again after you tell them to not call again.

Keep receiving these calls...several times a week. This call person left a strange message.

How do we get rid of these calls?

This call seems to come in cycles. The harassment stops for a month or so then I am again bombarded with this call every day for a few days. One day they call in the evening, next day in the morning, next day late at night....and so on till it stops for a month or so again. They never leave a message on machine.
Seems like many people on this post know this number by heart, as do I. I wonder what WE all have in common for this company to have our phone numbers?

When I answer the phone there is a click - a hang-up.  No one ever leaves a message.  It's very irritating.
