Got a call this morning from a woman who said she worked for the office of John Mcguire.She told me there was a complaint filed against my husband and police would come to my house and serve us if he didnt respond.She have me a case number and told me to call them back.I called them but it rang forever and finally went to voicemail.They are full of crap.

Laugh and say, you can not go to jail for an unpaid payday loan. Post dated checks can not be used as check fraud. At best they can file a civil suit and sue you for the money. I to have been called by him. Sent the papers last week johnny did ya lol. Well??????I'm still free and my district attorney still has nothing on her desk

I got a call from John maguire today saying he had a summons for me I need to call him in 24 hrs, I called him back on a blocked number and left a message referring to my case number and I told him my lawyer will be contacting him shortly, he called me back within 10 minutes and said did someone call him. I said you called me and he said no he did not , I said sir u left a message on my answering machine he said no he did not I need to check the number again on my voice mail and he hung up on me smh lol. the number is 1885755495

I got a call from them today as well.. is this a legit? Has anyone been served anything?

I got a call from Thomas Jones of Independant Processing. He told to call 1-888-575-5495 and speak to a John Maguire referencing a case# 117267 saying I owed for a payday loan. And that it would be settled for 200.00 if I gave him a Visa or Mastercard #. I told him to mail it to me. He had someone call saying that I had till the end of the business day to settle or he would take me to court. I told him if it was valid, take me to court. We will see

Did anything ever happen with this? The guy is harrasing me badly

I kept receiving calls from a Dominique re: a legal matter at my work #, I asked her to call my cell phone and i told her i would call john maguire the next day she called me again at work and i told her she updated my cell phone number yesterday why didnt she call me on my cell instead of work she stated i have nothing in the system, i then asked her to transfer me to her supervisor since she isnt doing her job correctly, she asked for my cell phone again and i told her for what so she can pretend she is updating it again, she stated she will keep calling my work i told her this is harrassment. I called John maguire last week twice and left my information to call me back he called me back today and said he is returning my phone call i then said no i am returning your phone call you had someone calling me to call you, he then said No i didnt so I kindly said oh then i guessI have the wrong number then i hung up.  He called me back and i couldnt quite understand fully what he said but at the end he said something like i will be picked up tomorrow and good luck....RUDE, RUDE People, the first called wouldnt tell me her ph#(it was blocked)what it was about...this is harassment!

I received a message from a woman saying she was from John McQuires office 888-575-5495 and that there was a court summons for me. She claimed they had my ss # and needed more information before they could release any paperwork. I'm thinking this is some kind of identity fraud because no one answers their number just a voicemail. This office should be investigated so people dont get harrassed.

Same as Nikki..they call me on my work # threatening with court etc.  John Maguire actually called me and was very rude and hateful kept telling me I needed to calm down or this was going to get ugly.  I told him I was getting a lawyer and hung up on him.  This guy needs to be stopped this is harrassment!

Said that they were gonna summons me to court and there was a warrant out for me, and I would be recieving it on monday..The caller that keeps leaving voicemails is Tom Jones..when you call the 1-888-575-5495 number it goes to John Maguire's voicemail..This is a scam, I left a voicemail message telling them that my dad works for the sherriff's department, and if they call me again, we will find them..My dad is already trying to locate who these people are..

He said that he had a summons for me. that this was going to court and I would be criminally prosecuted for non-full repayment of my payday loan and charged with felony fraud. when I asked for a case number or court paperwork he said he couldn't provide me with that and when I said I could not be charged criminally, only civilly, he said "you are about to see how serious this can get" and hung up on  me.

Called for a relative that has never lived here. Said they were from the Dallas County Sherriff's Office and had a warrant for her arrest. Said to call the warrant office of John McGuire. This is a bill collector.
