What do you mean they take over debit from capital one? Do they buy it from C.One

YEP, they just called for my EX H. who never had a Cap.One card or lived at this address or had this tel.#

The company is Allied International Credit and they are debt collectors. A bunch of rude a**holes that will harass and threaten you if you let them. They use a few different numbers so if you get a call from a number you don't know check on this site first and don't answer them - it just encourages them to call even more often.

for 3 mounths now at least 10 times a day they call. Can't remember the first two names they gave but todays was AIC. There is a real company named that in ontario Appraisal Institute of Canada, according to the net they are for Apprazels for homes for insurance  I don't own a home never have. As was said by someone else each day is a different file number they won't even state who they are calling for.

Yep ! Allied International Credit collecting on Capital One credit cards. Harassment is their main strategy and ignoring their calls is your main defense... Every so often they change the number they use and they will try Private Number calls too

Seems after a 2yr. interval this number is in use again. Can anyone confirm the caller?

this number 1-888-575-8147, continues to call my friends house, using my name and her telephone number, always an automated service, never a person....always qouting a reference #...does anyone know what this is all about?  I don't owe anyone anything...so I think its a scam!!!

this is a collection agency called Allied Credit International.  They take over debt from Capitol One.

They keep calling and asking for me by my married name...which I have not used in almost 12 yrs!!!! I do have a capital one credit card but it has a zero balance so Im not sure what their issue is with me. The automated message tells me to call Anthony Claig and to refer to reference number 8324130 (thats just the latest number)....the reference number they leave changes every time. However, the only thing that differers between my calls and the ones you guys have listed is that the name of the company is something like NSC or something like that....its not Allied International.

I have been getting calls from this company for months. The name of the company is  ALLIED INTERNATIONAL CREDIT. Just a recording telling me to call the now infamous number. They have taken collection of accounts from Capitol One and are trying to hit on me for the forged theft of my account number and purchase of two new bicycles.
I have told them and Capitol One that I will not pay the "debt" because they allowed the purchase (over $4,000) without properly verifying the card. I have also told them that if they want to pursue this further they should do it through the courts which they are reluctant to do. KEEP IN MIND THAT THIS IS AN ISSUE THAT STARTED ON AUG 7, 2002 - OVER 7 YEARS AGO.
Today I had a conversation with a representative of the collection company that actually ended in her screaming at me over the phone and refusing to allow me to speak. SOME CLASS!
The method they use is just pure harrassment. This is at least the third time that I have asked them to stop the harrassing phone calls. Shame on them and shame on Capitol One.

my parents got a call from this number for me with a ref # 8323042. it claimed they were Alli Travel. seemed like a telemarketing number. I never give my parents number out to anyone!

I keep getting messages every day on my answer machine from 888-575-8147 with Ext 3565 and ref# 8819074. They say it is for Wardland and there is no one here by that name.
