Does anyone receive calls to your cell from 88836? These number are the only that appear when the call come in.  If you have any info as who this could be, please let me know,.

Calls and won't leave a message.  Very annoying.

Try blocking that number is possible as I do.  Your phone won't ring and it will show as a missed call; they usually don't leave a message. Posted on July 30, 2013.

The Virginia Pilot newspaper uses this number, randomly, to contact possible subscribers in the Virginia Beach, Virginia area.  They normally do not leave a message and calling this number back is usually fruitless.  (Posted July 30, 2013).

I have been getting calls from  this number multiple times a day. Even on Saturdays and Sundays. They are annoying,when I don't answer and the answering machine comes on or right before, they hang up.

How do I stop these calls?

Yep, no one responded when I picked up the phone.  Very irritating and disruptive.

I am fed up with receiving this a call from this number 18885760078 "DAILY" , "TOO BAD CALLER I.D. HAS NO WAY OF REFERRING TO IT AS ","BULL S***!!! CALL"

Call the number back and leave a message its option 3 for you to register another number on their Do Not Call list.  If you are calling from the number they are using option 2.

If it persists you are allowed to report them to the Do Not Call Register.

...And they just tried to call me again right now.  So annoying!

This number called me today (Monday March 18th), Saturday the 16th, Wednesday the 13th (twice) and numerous times before that.  I never answer. I wish they'd give up!

This company is pretty persistant. They have called every day so far this week - 2:17 pm on 1/29/13, 3:16 pm on 1/28/13, 10:23 am on 1/27/13.

Telemarketing company trying to get us to renew our subscription with our local newspaper, The Virginian Pilot.  Judging from other posts it is a mass telemarketing company that calls for whatever your local paper is to try to get you to renew your subscription.

receiving calls from this number multiple times per week.  when I try to remove my number from their list, I receive a, "We're sorry, but the subscriber's mailbox is full and cannot accept any more messages."  Oh, yeah, I already have a *(^(^&^& year-long subscription to the newspaper!

Called me on a Sunday.  No message. Whatever they're selling, I don't want.

Call in the early AM, leave no message.  Unwanted nuisance call.

i stopped getting calls from this number for a long while now it is starting again. i answer and its just nothing there. so i am reversing this on them call them back and play stupid. uhhhh hello what are you doing? what is the weather like? really! i have big boy pants on and i put them on by myself. waste their time like they are yours. the do not call list just like our higher powers in office dont work and the coruption that plagues them is beyond fixing. rules are for people that follow them, like us. stop being the sheep and become the shepard. no religious punt intended that a whole other form of corruption.

This a call from the Nashua (NH) Telegraph  (Smellagraph) to resubscribe.  After many requests to no longer call these vapid pit vipers still do so.

I am tired of getting calls from this number.

They have called numerous times and this number is a private business line.  They call at very odd and random times, anywhere from 6:30AM to 10PM.

We are on the Nationwide No Call List, caller hung up when I answered.

This number calls me approximately 3 times per week at different times during the day. The last call was during an afternoon job interview and the one before that was at 7:00 in the morning. I usually ignore the number since it is a telemarketing company. They have been calling for months, and I haven't seen any signs of them letting up.

Got a phone call from this number. No message left.

They call 5x's a day, I have it on my blocked phone list and I am on the do not call list.  Once I answered and I told them not to call.  Obviously it didn't work.

How do I stop (or block)  this number.  I never answer an unidentified person, but they annoy me.

Argh.  Thanks for posting everybody.  I wondered why I was getting a weird call at weird times from someone who wouldn't leave a message.  I hate telemarketing on my cell!
