How do you get them to stop calling? It is getting ridiculous. they call 7 times a day! I need them to leave me a lone. What am I to do?

Calls at all hours, every day, but they leave no message. When you call them back auto voice asks for your Macys acct # and last 4 digits of your ss#. Since I Don't Have or want a macys card or acct, I put in any number just to get system to send me to a real person or message system. I get neither. It always says they're closed and I should call back during regular business hours, even if they just called me! I'm not giving my ss# to someone who happened to get hold of my telephone #. I used to be a customer of Marshall Field's but was all paid up on my bill with them long before the takeover. Perhaps Macy's thinks if they harrass old Field's customers enough it will drive us back into their stores??? Wrong!!! I want nothing to do with them. But if they don't stop this, I will get a lawyer and find a way to make them pay me!

It was Macy's. They called to collect on a debt.
