As far as I can tell it was TD Bank and yes I was late on a payment so they called. As I have been late twice and they have called both times I'd say its legit.

Wel they call me daily and I do not have a td bank accohnt or visa. Never bave soo if its legit why do they ca and never leave a message

Can't be about late payments because my balance is zero. I have never heard a recording like that from TD

ITs Td Canada trust and the visa- calling me 2-3 times a day- and not sure why NOT been late on a payment on my visa. (infact just paid it down a substantial amount).

it's honest. It's TD canada trust. They may be calling you for a number of reasons but it's usually debt collectors of some sort. You may be late on a payment or something, but it is really them.. i owe them money and they call me alllll the time!

Persistent calls, with disembodied voices, calling themselves TD Bank. They try to elicit personal information.

I received a call from this number. It seems pretty sketchy.

This number 1-888-625-8890 is very persistent. They say they are TD Bank and they phone at least 3 times a dayl!! This is what I call harassing!!!

They first send an electronic voice mail giving you a confirmation number to call.  Then they ask to verify all very personeal information.But I asked what the call is about they say something about credit margin not up to date??????   They seem to have all my information but this is a ploy to get your information to make a fraud.    BE very careful and report this to your local TD bank this is very serious identity fraud and yoiu may end up with major problems.

This IS TD Canada Trust and not a fraud, they call if you are behind on your payments on a personal Line of Credit or Visa Card.

I received a few calls from this number.

The reason I am wary of it is because my card # (not the actual card) was stolen and used to buy over $5000 worth of airplane tickets (of all things?).

I called TD Visa and the told me that some of those fraudulent charges were passed through to collections, but it was unclear if they called. The TD rep could not verify the phone number.

I passed along the feedback that when a disembodied robot voice tells you a reference number and asks you to hold the line, you are naturally going to be skeptic.

I don't think my message was well heard by TD VISA.

It is TD, they call when you are overdue.

Called TD , they do not have such a department or that phone number listed anywhere on there directory . Investigation is in progress to the company running the phone number and its employees .
Police are investigating .

I just want TD to stop calling me, as I only missed 1 month payment, and they started calling me. I am going back to work, Dec 4th, and will be fine. I know for a fact that I am not the only one that miss a payment or 2. Not like some people, that don't even make any payments at all. Give me a break. These type of people should go after them, not the ones that do make payments, no matter the amount.

this number calls me up to 5x a day.  they claimed i needed to pay something, but the real td bank has phoned me and their message sounds nothing like this number's.  the guy said he wouldn't take my number off the list till i confirmed my identity and i got so mad i hung up

I just received the same message today...thought it was a bit weird

Got a message on the answering machine that sounded automated claiming to be TD Bank and asking me to call this number with a reference number.  When I called I was asked for personal information to verify my identity.
