I just got a call from this number on my cell phone.  I didn't answer but I recently canceled my service with Comcast so I suppose they might be calling with a survey.

Yes, it is Comcast calling with a survey.

I am sick and tired of receiving calls EVERYDAY from this number. I recently ended service with Comcast but had no idea they would HARASS me everyday. When I answer there is no sound on the other end, I don't even get that alleged survey.

I got a call from this number at 5:05 AM this morning!  Luckily, I was awake anyway, but wow!  The caller was not a person, but rather a recording of a polititian whose voice I didn't recognize.  As far as I could gather, he was an anti-Bush republican. (Admittedly, the speech was pretty interesting and I actually listened for two minutes -- but still, 5 in the morning? WTF?)

Comcast selling Ebay crap -- informed them that calling Cell phones is illegal for any telemarketing reason.

Ebay telemarketing -- called at 5:45am here with a recording. Called back but the offices are closed according to its recording.

I received a call at 3:52AM EST 2/17/2007 with a ten minute recorded speech, complete with audience applause from Barack Obama. Ended in the middle of a 'personal message' dated 2006.

I just got this call from Comcast!  I disconnected service last month, and upon calling back, they just had a quick survey on my reasons for disconnection.

I'm sure I could have told them I wasn't interested in taking a survey and that been that, but I was amenable, and it was pretty painless.

It might be that the only way to get them to leave you alone is to go ahead and call the number back and speak with a rep.

I just received a call from this number and it cut straight into 10 minutes of a recording of some speech on Peak Oil. Either it was from Comcast or someone changed the caller ID to fake it being from this number.  Did anyone else hear the same recording I just did?  I figured it was some mass attempt to inform everyone about Peak Oil.

Called today (2/10/2008) at 1:16 A.M. (EST) and woke up the family.  Of course  it didn't leave a message.
There should be a law against this type of call.  When will the phone company allow its customers to block incoming "8XX" calls so all of us can get a good night's sleep?

I haven't had Comcast since November and they are still calling me for this stupid survey.  The last couple of days they have started calling me AGAIN!

Any idea who this phone number belongs to? They called me on my cell phone about ten minutes ago and hung up after the fourth ring. Google turned up nothing, and I looked up numbers to places from which I've recently ordered things, but none of them show that toll-free number on their websites or in the emails they sent me.
