Recorded message.  Calling on my CELL PHONE.  Even though I added my number on the Do Not Call list.    

Trying to sell me merchant services for using credit cards in my business.  Yawn.

Hey, Folks!!!!  I simply assign a "Spam 04 18" phone number in the contact list in my cell phone when i get a call from a strange area code. If it is a strange area code, I tap the "ignore" and the call goes unconnected. I also have my phone set up so I have to hit a numeric key to complete the phone connection from the caller. Do that and you will find that after 3 or 4 calls that go unanswered or ignored your name drops off the auto-dialer.

Assuming you can install "hit any key" to complete the connection; look to see if the caller is a previous "Spam" number and if so, just click the "ignore" button on your phone.

This is a hijacked fax number, I looked up the number and it's a fax, search it and you get a different number, that person told me that he gets hundreds of calls about the problem, I am looking into a possible tracing method at the moment, will get back with info asap.

Received call...numerous times from this number...they never leave a message, but it still COST ME MONEY.  I have registered earlier this month on the DO NOT CALL cell phone registry.....doesn't that count for something?

Robo-call from this number to my cell

Someone keeps calling me from this number. It is very annoying to get called by a telemarketer. How do I stop it?

Whenever I get these types of calls, I save the call in my address book as "Hangup 1", "Hangup 2", etc. Each time they call after that I simply answer the call and set the phone down until a live body picks up to dead air and hangs up in frustration.

I have a rule ... "If I don't know the number, don't answer.  Let it go to voicemail".  If it's important, the caller will leave a real voice message.  I never return calls to these numbers.  Once you do that, you open yourself up to repeated calls back.  I've added this number to my blocking list through my service provider.  Also, added it to my contact list with a name of DNA (do not answer).  You cannot do much about these types of calls, even if your numbers are on the NDNC list.  They use random dialing in most cases.

Have been called multiple times, but always miss the call. NO message ever left, but when I call back just a high pitched whistle. Wondering how this can happen since my number is on those lists for telemarketers and people like that NOT to call?

I got that call today. It was an automated message that started out "Hi, I'm Bonnie! Did you know that most businesses have not implemented the ... law that ..." I hung up before she could go any further.

Received call this morning to my cell #. No message.  Internet research revealed this to be a FAX number for Merchant Services: their web site : http://www.ms-mn.com/.  Their regular phone number is 612-229-8808.  I called the number and was informed that they did not make the phone contact. They have received many complaint calls from people like me. They state that they believe that someone has somehow hijacked their number and is using it against their wishes.

Telemarketers calling me at home or my business was frustrating enough, now they start calling the cellphones? Don't know what to say.....
