Received call from 210-319-5486, "this is fred johnson of the fraud division, we need to speak you or your attorney of record in reference to a case which has been filed against you. Told to call that number (210 319-5486). Didn't and wouldn't ever call. This is obviously a scam of some type. FYI

got a call from these jerks last month under the name of Ken Miller and Assoc. on the 20th of February (888 671 4866) received a phone call yestereday 3/20/13 from a William Sanders and Assoc (phone # 888 317 6320 so I called the phone # back @ 888 671 4866 and guess what they answer the phone as William Sanders & Assoc. I guess they just change phone # and names each month and start the process all over again what dirt bags

I received a recorded message from a Mr. Johnson that he has papers to serve on me at my work or home and for details I needed to call  888-671-4866.  I called and was put on hold for 15 minutes, then the call disconnected. I called right back and got a message that all agents were busy and to leave a message and someone would call me back.  No one did.  I want this to stop.  I don't know what this is about and I cannot take the mental pressure of these calls.

Of course, I gave her a bogus credit card number:)

Ok, I want to add to my last comment.  So I got a missed call from them so I called them back.  I told them I never received the email documentation but that I was scared I would be summoned at work and asked if they thought I should make a payment.  She jumped all over that and said credit card is the safest way to go.  So she transferred me to the "payment" center.  The lady acted all official and said so you would like to make a one time payment on 3/13/13, correct.  I said yes...I told her it was a visa....I read the numbers to her really slow.  When she asked me the expiration date, I asked her "now this is for the student loan right?"  And she said yes...I told her that is funny, I just got off the phone with them and I have a zero balance...The student loan lady googled YOU.  Congratulations...YOU JUST GOT SCAMMED..:)

I totally got a message from Fred Johnson saying I was going to be "served with papers" either at work or at my home and he left a number for me to call.  What number...you guessed it 1-888-671-4866.  She knew ALOT about me.  Scary.  She said that I had a summons against me and was going to be served at any time.  She said I owed for a student loan in the amount of $5, 232. but she would settle with me for $2,875.  She totally freaked me out. I am a professional and if I were to get papers at work, I would totally freak.  I asked her to send an email to me with the documentation.  She put me on hold and said she did and tried to tranfer me to make a payment.  I told her I would look at the email and call her back.  She said ok but you could be served any minute.  I called my student loan company and they said that it was a scam and that I had a balance of zero.  Needless to say, I never got the email.  When I called the woman back with the extenstion she gave me...it was not her name of Pat Allen (who I had spoken to).  Ugh...I work hard for a living...it ticks me off that there are low lifes like this.

I received a computerize call from the name of the day Rick Johnson not Red today I guess lol with the magical number of 000 000 0000 and to call 888-671-4866 because they will be serving me papers today. I'm so excited being that I havent a clue what the heck their serving me for I hope they bring me some Starbucks coffee too while their on their serving spree lol..anyway dont pay them and report them to the FTC and your Attorney General and if they are verbally abusive you can sue them its against the debt collection law for them to be using such foul tactics.

I also have been recieving phone calls from this number. They have even been calling my father and threatening them as well. I have contacted my lawyer on this topic and am awaiting his response.

I got a call from these jerks this morning.  They told me the same thing.  I felt like some entertainment so I called them back.  I told the first guy I got to either take my phone off the list or show up on my front poarch with the papers and take the risk of showing up on my property.  He hung up.  I called back and got another "lady" who finally said (as I was laughing at her) "why dont you go F*** yourself you dead beat piece of S***."  Very ladylike.  I called them back the third time to tattle tale on the "lady" I just spoke to.  They hung up on me again.   If you feel like wasting your time on a bit of self depracating entertainment I wholely recomend this course of action.  Who knows... they may even leave me alone now.

Getting calls everyday stating they have papers to serve me at my place of business or home.  I want this to stop. Anyone know their address so I can turn them in to the Attorney General?

i get numerous calls everyday from different numbers saying that they are coming to my place of work or home..i get no answer when i tried to call back and get a red johnson or who ever is claiming to be this person to stop harassing me or i am going to have them reported. i don;t know how else to stop these calls.

Someone name Greg Johnson has been calling my cell phone stating That he needs to serve me some papers at my home or work and to call 1-888-671-4866 for details. I left a message  to come to my work ,we love to have the person on the recording stay awhile.  Theres always room in the Texas Prison.

Calls from Red Johnson started last week.  I have now received a call every working day for seven days.  They are calling for a person that I have never heard of and claiming they have papers to serve.  He said to call 888-671-4866.  I called that number and was put on hold and then told to leave a voicemail.  I told them that I did not know this person and to stop calling me or I would report them to the attorney general.  They then called and blasted my ears with a loud static type sound.  These calls are going to my voicemail.  I have a buy minutes phone and they are using up my minutes or I would just ignore them.  I have read that these debt collectors are usually run by scummy lawyers.  They harass innocent people and scare them into paying money that they do not owe.  Also, legally they have to send paperwork before any money changes hands.  If they refuse to provide information, then you know they are a scam.  Also, any call that uses all zeros for their number is another red flag.  They are going after anyone and everyone they can to scam them out of money.

I think this is someone sitting at their computer making these calls. I believe that they made up the name they claim they are calling for so they can get my name and then lie and claim that I owe money.  Please turn these people in and demand prison for them.

These ppl have been calling me 4 like a year talking bout they will serve me papers and get me locked up but it's all a scam. If they were a legitimate bissness they wouldn't be so rude on the phone. I told the guy to just contact my lawyer and he replied you don't have a f*****ing lawyer and hung up on me. Please ppl don't lose your hard earned cash on these scammers. They are the scum of the earth.

I did call the numebr and the person I was tranferredto said that I needto get a criminal attorney because I have commited fraud and  will go to jail if I do not pay them for 3 diffrent loans they have on there desk at this time in the amount of $10,000. I too have received calls stating that they paper to serve. It seems like once you fall victim to one of these companies you are prey to all of them. This is not the first time I've had a companies like this contact me.  They will go so far as to call family members and tell them if I did not contact them I would be arrested. Makes me sick. I consider myself to be of strong moral charater but I would prostitute myself before working for a company like one of these.

I received a call from this # and they told me I owed a debt they told me it was Titan group I told them I paid them 1 yr ago she ask me for the receipt # and she said it was not correct. I then ask her to send me the paper work via the US Postal service and she said that she could not do that because this was not a collection agency. DO NOT GIVE COMPANY ANY MONEY. I was told to tell them I will notify the local police dept and my phone calls were being recorded. These people need to stop

First I received a call from Red Johnson 000-00-0000 they have notification to serve me papers either at my home or work I understand they don't give you a heads up they are going to service you paper so I called the # of 888 671 4866 Kenneth Miller and Assoc. I ask for there mailing address told them I need written validation of the debt told me they couldn't do that I told them it was my legal right to get that information they told me that they were not a collection agency so they could'nt do that. They even called my husband cell phone # don't know how they got that Red Johnson left message on his cell phone. I reported it to the Attorney Generals Office This needs to stop

I first received a call from Red (000-00-000_ told me to call 888 671 4866 which i did call a lady answered and she said I had to pay day  loans told her I  paid them I started to give her the number that I had on the receipt that I had paid the loan in full she told me the incorrect pick  numbers I called the company that I paid my payday loans off with and they told me that this company was scam. I ask for the address of Ken Miller and Assoc. and she would not give it to me. she said they were coming to get me I not sure where they might be coming to pick me up she didn't give me a address I also got calls from a Pacific and another company called Global not sure if anyone got phone calls from these company but they are also scams

Another thing everyone should be considering, aside from the OBVIOUS illegal statements these jerks make is the fact that you probably haven't received any prior phone calls about this "debt" they're threatening you with, right? Well, I'm pretty sure it's expensive to go to court, lawyers' fees etc, for the "plaintiff" as well as the "defendant". What company wouldn't try to work out a payment schedule before automatically going with the "law suit" angle? And, of course, please always remember, if this were a criminal matter, there wouldn't be a "plaintiff"; it would be you vs. the State of (Fill in your home state here). Don't listen to anything these idiots say, I suggest you educate yourself on the facts in regards to debt collection. This scamming probably won't end with these jerks; they'll sell your info to the next scumbag and the next and the next. I've been putting up with this sh*t for 4 years now due to identity theft and have NEVER given any indication that I'll pay them yet they still try. The more knowledgable you come across, the less likely the scam of the week will keep bothering you. Then, you'll have about a month maybe of peace until the next one starts.

Received the call telling me to call because i had to be served papers. i figured it was a scam because got one similar last year. i have had same address for 40 years so not hard to find if papers need served.

You cannot go to jail for an unpaid payday loan..Under the fair debt collections act you have 30 days to dispute the validity of ANY debt. The company cannot deny that. AND they cannot ask for an upfront fee definately a scam...they are trying to get me too...

The funny thing is that Red Johnson called my in-laws house looking for my husband and wanted to know where to serve the papers. Well I have been working with my state on these bottom feeder debt collectors. So again my state will issue fines to this company like they did the other company that told more about the account than they should have. So call your AG and also your states department of financial institutions because they are the ones who give out licenses to collect in your state.
