yep, we fell 4 it 2, sheila:(  WE lost $475 17 MONTHS AGO by CC to Continental Airlines travel program/land package. because we couldn't commit to reserve our dates right away, we put vacation plans (Hawaii & Mayan ruins) on hold; of course, hoping we'd meet the 18month deadline. Mind you, even tho we have checked in & bn reassured of our confirmation, for the past 2 months, we
v bn  brushed off repeatedly: from being placed on hold forever, then dropped, or endlessly dialing & getting busy signals.  IN HOPES THAT THIS WASN'T FRAUDULENT, we kept attempting a connection & finally got  "Dee" at 877-764-9967, ext #285.  yes, she's called back EXACTLY 4 times RECENTLY and, now knowing abt the reality of our situation-THANKS TO ALL 5 PAGES OF YOU- lie upon lie, DEE hasn't be able to get us to understand that their notes state: they faxed a receipt AFTER the original fax & claimed my husband had signed off the disclaimer of no free "air travel."  YESTERDAY DEE, Ext. 285, said SHE WOULD EMAIL THAT RECEIPT TO ME 2DAY SO WE'D SEE WE'V MADE AN INCORRECT ASSUMPTION ABT THE FREE AIR TRAVEL IN THE PACKAGE MY HUSBAND PAID FOR.  SHE SAID TO CALL HER BACK & THAT the best time to CALL HER IS AT 11AM EST, M-F.  Hey, LET'S ALL DO IT.  btw,  I'LL SEE HOW FAR they'll go, OR WHAT SHE'LL ASK for NEXT- IF I EVER GET HER ON PHONE AGAIN.  AND, IN THE MEANTIME, WE'LL PROBABLY PAY HELL GETTING OUR $$ BACK FROM THE BANK AFTER ALL THIS TIME, BUT YOU CAN BET, WE WILL BE JUST AS DILIGENT CALLING OUR BANK AS WE'V BN W/DEE, EXT 285, PHONE #877-764-9967.  hey, i hope we save someone else from ths scam; i do think i knew better than gv out my cc info, but my dear darling wanted to surprise me.  i won't say a word to him abt that:)

I received a fax too at my employer's office on 6/25/12 at 9:01 a.m. EST. The logo at the right hand corner reads " United" and  "To: All Employees, From: H.R. DEPT, Re: AIRLINE LAND PACKAGE" is listed on the left side of the fax. It offers a 6 day/5 night w/ all meals included for $175 per person and a bonus trip of 4 days, 3 nights to Orlando or Las Vegas.

Booking and Reservations 877-634-9804 with Reservation Code UNITED747 was listed at the bottom.

I'm glad I checked into this because when I thought something wasn't right after I called more than once to have been provided with inconsistent details regarding the package deal. Beware out there guys.

To Gregstar, sounds to me like you are a very insecure person.  People are asking for help, not for criticism.  Go away and sulk if you can't offer helpful advice, you whine too much.

I got ripped off by them too Sheila, I will call my credit card company and see if they can help me as well.

Does anyone have a copy of that fax mailer with Continental airlines sent from this number. I got trapped into this deal and paid 450 for my and my wife (175x2+taxes). I needed a copy of that mailer, if one can send.
I need to dispute this charge as I realized now that when I am trying to make the reservation, its different company than what I booked with, Sunset World, it doesnt seem to have any association with it.
When i booked they mentioned, look into international-destinations.com for resort listing. Then when I am trying to reserve, they are asking me to look in vacationhelpdeskinfo.com for resorts, none of them show any linkage to the Sunset World, supposed to be the sponsor of the package.
Any advise from anyone

877-330-4112 - False Advertising for $$.$$ on 2011-12-27
My wife brought this flyer to me that was faxed to her place of business (Doctor's office). The flyer has Continental Airline's logo on the top right corner of the page and the flyer reads:
MEMO
To: All Employees
From: HR DEPT
Re: Airline Travel Program / Land Package
For a limited time only we are offering to all employees' access to our company vacation, packages at the wholesale rate (you save $3,000.00 per couple).
The package further explains a couple of packages that of course seem too good to be true but I promised my wife I would still call to get the details and figure out if it was some sort of time share or a resort selling condos, etc... I called the number 877-330-4112 and a boy answered saying' "Hello". I said, "I received a flyer about travel packages and wanted to get some information from you please". He immediately became rude and said " Are You Going To Buy Or Not"? I said that I may be interested but would like to know more details about the requirements and locations before making any decisions. He then became hostile and said "You Have The Flyer Don't You'? I hesitated and said "Wow" to my wife in total disbelief that this conversation was actually going like this and the boy then said "WOW IS RIGHT YOU F****NG IDIOT" and hung up the phone. I called back to speak to a supervisor but received only more of the same from another young boy. This is an outrage. A third call resulted in me asking if Continental was offering this package since their logo is on the flyer and this boy did answer with "No, American Airlines, Continental Airlines & Visa are our sponsors but US Travel is the company making the offer. I am sure this is not accurate info but whoever is behind this must be stopped. One would assume that there is illegal activity going on once this company receives personal credit card information from in coming callers. All I have to say is that I am going to make sure that something is done. My wife and I have had our identity stolen twice this year and we are sick and tired of low life thieves who try to steal from us. TC from Texas

Received a fax advertising 6 days and 5 nights for $175 per person plus $25 tax and handling charges. One has 18 months to travel to number of resorts with all inclusive option.  The moment you call 877-854-0265 they mention that they have the last package for you.  As soon as you start to ask questions they hung up on you or it seems the line is automatically cut off by a controller.  I called three times and all three times they said they have the last package for me; and they push you to decide and give them your credit card number.  They call themselves US corporate Travel affiliated to American Airlines Airline Travel program/Land package.  It is a scam.  I am posting this and will call RCMP later.

The 888-680-5749 folks hacked my blog down when I revealed what they do--and made fun of them. The way to deal with them is insist that whoever provides that toll-free number be revealed so that we have names and addresses to give the FTC and state agencies. It would also help if banks revealed the identity of the scamsters.

It is run by a sophisticated scam operation. I research scams for a humorous blog I write  http://www.consumeristmanifesto.net . One group hacked my blog down but it is back up and on their trail again. The real problem is that scamsters understand how to avoid real prosecution on the state level and are allwed a relatively free hand on the federal level. More about that in my blog.

Unfortunately this company is located in Mexico and I don't think with everything else going to Hell down there that these people are high on the Mexican governments priority list.

Got a Fax at work with Continental Airlines logo on top, offering vacation packages to several destinations. Offer was 6 days & 5 nights for $175. pp plus a $99. tax to be paid to the hotel. When we called to find out more and why so cheap we were told that they work with the hotels and do special promotions for them.
UPDATE:  I just got a message on my phone from Vitelity, LLC, 888-676-5871 regarding an email that I sent them on 10/21, inquiring as to why none of their featured hotels in Hawaii were accepting reservations and accusing them of bait and switch tactics. This was before I got info. from the hotels that International Destinations is a scam and none of the hotels do business with them and before I found all the scam info. online. I don't think I will return their phone call, whatever they tell me it's still a scam.

Bottom line ... They are a scamming company that keeps changing their name to avoid having a bad reputation. Ive called 4 hotels that they offer , NONE of them have heard of them and actually a few asked me to fax them the letter i got so they can take action themselves. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFO !!! ESP. YOUR CREDIT CARD !!!! Also they are currently being Sued by Delta and American Airlines for using their letterhead on the scamming faxs and misrepresenting them. They try the "Oh there is only 2 spots left" , dont fall for this ... they are trying to get you hurrying and thinking WOW i cant miss this offer ... While you are rushing to get the reservation , you are not thinking clearly . They are trying to use the "Rush" or "Hurry" technique and catch you while your most venerable .

IF YOU DO GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD ... Call your bank ASAP and Cancel your card or have the transaction flagged . Hopefully your still within your posting window (Normally the next morning) .

I was foolish enough to think it was a good deal and when I called they said I was one of the first 100 callers and I recieved a "complimentary trip" to Vegas.  I supposedly was going to Montego Bay, Jamaica for 5 days, six nights for $400.00  all inclusive (myself and my boyfriend).   I did give credit info, but for some reason it was not processed, therefore I was able to freeze my account and the money was not withdrawn from my account.
