Thats right nail these punks for all the scamming they have done I plan on going straight to the top. The owner needs to be jailed like any other thief and then to have little puppets working for them knowing what rip offs they are. It is soo sad that we have these parasite companies in our society.

No they actually did not refund my money and i immediately handed in my refund form when they told me that they found no errors. They are obviously scamming some people and not others but what the heck the more people they rip off the more money for them. I will not stop complaining about them until they make good on what they promised,,,,my rebate. I will strongly urge people NOT to deal with them. They are nice initially and then BAM they disappear, reappear with lotttttts of excuses why you havent gotten a rebate yet. If you choose to try them put your BOOTs on and get ready for the BS

The representative hung up on me after I waited 45 min on hold then I called back waited another 45 min before not a person but a machine came on and said I would be contacted in 24 hours....LIARS that was days ago. DON'T get involved with this junky, jacked up scandalous business ...if we can even give it credit of being  called a business. It should be called JUNK.

Well, I ain't real happy with scammers ripping off desperate homeowners who may be looking for money in this imploding recession and I ain't about to reveal whether I've had any "first hand experience" because the scammers and shills like yourself read 800notes and I value my anonymity. Positive interaction? I'm sure all Ponzi's victims had positive interactions as well or they wouldn't have entrusted him with their hard-earned money, some with their life savings. Shills ignore the facts like AMT's BBB report http://www.bbb.org/utah/business-reviews/loan ... ork-ut-22302183 with F=FAIL rating and 44 complaints, 38 of which AMT failed to respond to (AMT ignored all BBB complaints after the first 6). There is none so blind as she who will not see. Go ahead -- slide down the razor blade of life. Enjoy!

Thanks for posting links. I'm aware of them but they do not accurately describe AMT's unique MO.
1. AMT's audit is a fee-for-service offer that does not involve the homeowner's bank. The typical FTC scenario would have AMT negotiating with the homeowner's lender and this is not the case here. Homeowner pays AMT $149-$299, homeowner receives audit results and AMT goes away. IMO, the ban on up-front payment described in the FTC articles does not apply to AMT's fee-for-service audit because AMT is not offering mortgage relief to homeowners such as a loan modification or lowered monthly payments. It's strictly a service provided for a fee like getting a haircut or your tires rotated (I've no idea what made those examples pop into my head and no, I don't need either).
2. The real money to be made lies in the negative-option, 30-day free trial of $49.95/month 30to8 Debt Software that all homeowners are signed up for behind their backs when they buy the audit and which turns into a live subscription unless homeowners cancel in time. The software "saves" or "refunds" the allegedly horrendous $interest charged by the banks on mortgages. Gullible homeowners who decide to use the software will end up paying several $thousands over several years for something they can do for FREE and get the SAME "savings" or "refunds." The software offer is not described in either FTC article. I don't know if it can be construed as something that provides "mortgage relief" to the homeowner and hence subject to the up-front fee ban; my guess is it won't be.
Both offers above are "white elephant" offers -- they work but homeowners might as well be throwing their money away if they buy either. Because they do work, the Feds won't shut down AMT just like they refused to shut down United First Financial who brought us the $3,500 Money Merge Account. The 30to8 Debt Software is just a privately-branded version of the Money Merge Account that charges $49.95/month instead of $3,500 up front (we are in a recession so $49.95/month is more palatable than $3,500 up front). The real money is in the 30to8 software, not the audit, and it's not described in either FTC article.

Forensic Mortgage Loan Audit Scams: A New Twist on Foreclosure Rescue Fraud

http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/pubs/consumer/alerts/alt177.shtm

excerpt from consumer alert
Fraudulent foreclosure ?rescue? professionals use half-truths and outright lies to sell services that promise relief to homeowners in distress. According to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the nation?s consumer protection agency, the latest foreclosure rescue scam to exploit financially strapped homeowners pitches forensic mortgage loan audits.

In exchange for an upfront fee of several hundred dollars, so-called forensic loan auditors, mortgage loan auditors, or foreclosure prevention auditors backed by forensic attorneys offer to review your mortgage loan documents to determine whether your lender complied with state and federal mortgage lending laws. The ?auditors? say you can use the audit report to avoid foreclosure, accelerate the loan modification process, reduce your loan principal, or even cancel your loan.

Nothing could be further from the truth. According to the FTC and its law enforcement partners:

there is no evidence that forensic loan audits will help you get a loan modification or any other foreclosure relief, even if they?re conducted by a licensed, legitimate and trained auditor, mortgage professional or lawyer.

some federal laws allow you to sue your lender based on errors in your loan documents. But even if you sue and win, your lender is not required to modify your loan simply to make your payments more affordable.

if you cancel your loan, you will have to return the borrowed money, which may result in you losing your home.

Re. "was assured that the money will be posted back in my account", please be aware that the BBB report for AMT Auditing Sevices LLC but DBA as Mortgage Auditing Program, Enlightened LLC and CRM Ventures LP currently shows an F=FAIL rating and 41 complaints with 35 failures-to-respond. It's been N complaints with N-6 failures-to-respond for a very long time now that suggests AMT has simply ignored all BBB complaints after the first 6. And the BBB is still unaware of California's Cease & Desist order to AMT at this time http://www.dre.ca.gov/pdf_docs/loanmod_drs/H5785SAC.pdf  Given this poor track record of handling complaints, I advise you to call AMT back for a hard date on when your money will be returned and if your money isn't returned on time, to call your card issuer to claw your money back and to replace your card because of fraud.

I also called this number and waiting approx 20 mins to finally talk to someone and yes everyone that i have spoken too were cooperative & friendly. I was assured that they would send me their contact informaton via email. i asked if i may have it over the phone but in a slyful way he changed the subject & i never received their maing address or email. i did however received a customer service # 877 762 0725. my caller id also showed the call was coming from California 925 203 3431. i asked why this was & was toldthat its their headset. I already made the mistake of giving them my card number. I called back to cancel after I have read all these post and was assured that the money will be posted back in my account. To save my lettter just in case if I change my mind in the future. I than search (national mortgage settlement) and found a website that lead me to (nationalmortgagesettlement.com) which had some helpful information. If you look in the right hand corner it has a link for states. There you will find a list of attorney general websites for your particular state that you reside in. follow the links and call the number. I just called the number they provided for the bank we deal with. Each bank has its phone number for the mortgage settlement questions. Try that route.

I just spoke with a Jordan Rhodes at supposedly AMT Division today in response to a letter I received with a recipient case #------- and the price of their services is now $299.00 up front, going up everyday!  Thank ya'll for the feedback.  My initial instinct was this was a scam, and I am glad to have found this website.  By the way I was laughing out loud at "anonymous" interaction with the rest. HAhahahahahaha.  Funny.  Buyer beware.  If it sounds too good to be true, it surely is.
