The same morgan and a**. out of florida. called me and threatened me with jail time.. i thought it was real until i started looking for them on the internet with no luck. oh and remembered that in the USA you cant go to jail over a debt. im a dumb a** sometimes.. anyway there number is 786-528-3073 if anyone wants to call them too.  ive been calling them back all day.. see how they like it.. theyve gotten so pissed!! hahaask them if theyve spoken with Kalin Reed today.. i bet you get hung up on quick.. maybe even cursed.

I've been getting these kinds of calls since early 2008.  I've got the FTC complaintassistant, my state's AG complaint department, my local law enforcement (sometimes the threats are violent in nature) and my local Secret Service office (they sometimes tell me that 'this will all go away if I wire them money...') on speed dial.

Since these are foreign criminals, the potential for action by the US is limited.  But, I've heard that a 'bank of debt collectors' in Texas - actually Mexican nationals that might've been buying fraudulent debt portfolios with drug cartel money, a little something known as money laundering - was broken up.  

I can tell you that it's a bit like living with a benign form of cancer.  You know it's there, but ultimately it can't really do anything to you so you get used to it, so much so that it seems as though it weren't there.

To this day, for as long as I've been getting these calls, I still don't know who, exactly - there are several of us who live here and we've gotten phone calls, in the past, from debt collectors who are looking for someone else by name that we don't know - what, exactly they want - how much money and who this money was allegedly originally owed to - or who they represent, besides'legal department.'  Since it's passed their third year anniversary of harassing me and my housemates, it's gotten pretty funny now, getting calls from some who call themselves 'Barney Fife' or 'Horatio Cane.'  (Yeah, they've taken to using television fictional cop names).

Chin up.  Eventually this shall pass.  You might try changing your phone number.  I haven't done this because the folks that I live with need to have stable phone numbers.  But, if you can, you might give it a try.

This number is a scam. Fake collection agency claiming you owe money to payday loans.

Fax number can be traced maybe everyone should ask for it and turn it over to the proper people so he can go to a nice jail cell with BUBBA and get a little screwing himself or if he using internet faxing he can get it turned off for fraudulant activity.  :)

I keep getting calls from these people looking for someone who does not live in my home

What has happened since then?  I see all these postings warning not to pay, and I do appreciate this advise, but what happens when you continue to ignore them?

Do they stop calling?  I changed my cell phone and my employer programmed my phone so when they press "0" to reach the receptionist, the call goes nowhere.

I would love to hear from people who have been dealing with this long term on what happens after they say charges are filed?  Has any cop or anyone ever shown up at your work?  Thanks for any info.  I really appreciate this message board!

i have been getting calls from this 888-706-7463 # for the past month or so.he first said he was officer Joseph when he left me voice mails.when i called he said he was Raymond Scott...they said i owe $1000 on a payday loan. and if i do not pay them i will have to go to court with my parents and sister ( who are personal references). and if we do not go to court we will be arrested. i was really scared at first because he had all my information, my SS#, address my sister and moms name. I agreed to pay a certain amount by july 23, 2010, so they would stop calling. he said i needed to fax them an agreement note. i never sent anything. he said monday july 26 the papers will be filed by the court. And then on monday he called and said papers will be filed on thursday. i thought it was fishy. he called my sister today friday july 30, saying her and my mom need to go to court or they can go to jail. i called back saying that i cant pay so ill go to court. he keep trying to get me to pay. he said i could take care of everything by paying $411. hung up and found this site. im so glad i did. thank you for all you information.

I was called from this number july 29 2010. they called and called my phone yelling and calling out my bank info. people this is a major scam .this is also a law suit  DO NOT ANSWER TO THESE PEOPLE PLEASE

I too have been harrassed by this company.  Saying them I owe them money and calling  from a 052797721 number.  They have called up to 21 times in 45 minutes. They threatened to get me fired and continually call my work and cell.  Saying that they tried to get money out of my account almost a year ago (I didn't even have that account with that bank a year ago!)  And when I informed them of this, said it must be a typo but I still owe them money.  They can not give me any information about the loan..."its with our lawyers since now its a legal matter and you can't have it."  again which is a complete lie, I have a right to those supposed files.  I also had to send them a fax saying I wouldn't dispute the matter in the future.  HUGE RED FLAG!   I finally got a lawyer who only had to call them once and they haven't called back!  I had him call and "John Smith" was out of the office.  Which was a complete lie since he had only by harrassing and calling my phone not 2 minutes before. PLEASE DON"T SEND THESE SCAMMERS MONEY!

this # keeps calling my cell #-VERY ANNOYING-says they are from legal dept. & threaten to come to my workplace & arrest me re: legal charges. I have no idea what this is about-im in the process of paying back a loan but if it was in default dont ya think the company itself would notify me by phone or mail before sending a collection agency after me????  it just doesnt sound legit-they call 3 times-one call after the other about a minute apart-i've dealt w/collection agencies before & although annoying they do not act like this. they have your personal info. i just hope they arent able to do much else other than call you

They called me today, the first time when i sent them to voicemail, they called back immeadieatly, when sent to voice mail again, they left a very broken english message stating that they were from the legal dept and to return the call. Then he said that I should not ignore this message because when this rains down It'll be bad. When i called the number back, i was told that I was for an unpaid payday loan. When i said that i have never gotten a payday loan and that i don't appreciate threating phone calls, he hung up on me then blocked my number. i then called from a payphone and asked for a supervisor, which he said he was, then proceeded to tell him again the i have never had a payday loan and i need the company information so i can file a fraud alert.  he told be to have my lawyer call and hung up again.  This is a scam. I can only think that they got my number from a reply on a craigslist ad for a job that turned out to be a scam. That guy wanted to fedex me a check to then dole out to "charity"(terrorist) people. I refused the package but now i think this is the next way there are trying to scam me. ignore these calls. its bogus

The number +052797721 has been appearing on my cell phone and leaving threatening messages. When you call back the number they give you (888) 706-7463, they refuse to give you any information and tell you to call a lawyer and have your lawyer call them. They had my address correct , my ssn, and all my other personal information. They say their client in Florida has a lawsuit against methey company name is quickcash. When I asked for something in writing they refuse. If you yell at them, they hangup. You can't block the number either. When are the scams going to stop. Now I have to deal with foreign jerks!

I have been receiving calls from them for about a month now for a person I don't even know. I work for a collection agency and am aware of a consumers rights in the FDCPA and they are breaking the law every way they can. I have received multiple messages from them in a day, which is against the law.  I have told them twice this is a wrong number and to stop calling, and just got another call today which is against the law.  And they had the nerve to tell me I was lying.  MY NAME IS STATED ON MY VOICEMAIL AND REGISTERED IN MY NAME. I work for an excellent company that does things morally and ethically.. and this is absurd! This could be a juicy lawsuit.. but when i asked for their company information and fax number, they said they would remove my number (3rd time around) and I asked them again for the information and the fool stated.. "I assure you it will be removed, it makes no difference if you send it in writting, you're speaking to a supervisor."  Since when does a supervisor pick up incomming calls from an 800 #?  I'm dying to find out the company information so I can sue their pants off.. They have violated 3 laws clearly stated by the FDCPA.  I have spoken to a Gabriel Ganai (sp?) and an Alex Turner and been given a 1-888-706-7463 number and a 909-580-8997.  Collection agencies can be a pain in the a**, but everyone is entitled to their rights.  Ask for written documentation.. ask for validation of the debt.  Research the FDCPA.  THIS IS A SCAM!!!!

Chances are, your brother does not owe them anything either. They are scammers. They hacked into a legitimate payday loan company's database. American Law Division is but one name they go by. They really do not have a name. It's made up as they go along.

They are a bunch of foreign scammers. I have been having an ongoing war with them since December, 2009. They are huge and have literally hundreds of phone number . Some are in call centers and others it would seem are not. What scares me is that they have my home address. I have talked with the Ohio Attorney General's office and they are quite aware of them. I just now called the police department and an officer is going to call me this evening. Do not give them any money. I have let them know that I know they are scammers and that I am not sending them money so they've been revising their techniques. But they won't stop calling. this company has been harassing me. trying to contact my brother. they have recantly began calling my parents home phone with my personal cell phone showing on the caller I.D. show much to my mom;s surprise thinking that it would be me on the line it's them asking for my bro... wtf is that even legal?  they told me the name of the compay is Morgan and Associates  based in florida. but when i tried to find them it turned out they gave me the wrong zip code.  any Ideas how to get them to leave me alone and work out their problems with my bro. through him alone.   and just to add another problem they are disclosing his personal info.. like he has court dates and he owes them X amount of dollars. I know this can't be legal. how do I stop them???

By law they have to supply you with an itemized bill with a real address phone etc.
