My daughter keeps getting calls from this number too. This seems to be some sort of a collection agency. I have repeatedly advised them that they have a wrong number and yet they fail to make changes at their end.

Card Services is one of the collection agencies used by bank of america, if you have a debt with Bank of America (especialy and of their issued credit cards) they will keep calling untill you give them money. They were calling so much I finaly told them to send me paperwork about the debt. I took the paperwork when it arrived showed it to my lawyer he said it wasnt a fake so I paid it and now they dont bug me. I suggest you do the same

I am going to need for this number to stop calling my phone!!

They keep calling me about someone who is not at my address. They are a menace and are abusing the phone lines. They told me, too, that the problem was corrected, but it was not. Do I have to change my number because they cannot get the hint? Who are these people?

This number has called me several times and even late at night. I called it back and all it says is "thank you for calling card services, we will transfer you to the next available analyst." What is that?

Just received a phone call now. The lady with serious tone, asked to speak with my dad. I told her that he is not here, then she asked to leave a message and ask my dad to call back. I asked what was it regarding to . She told me it was something about business finance matter. I told her that we used to have a business but it's not operating any more. I asked where she's calling from. She was like" I CANNOT TELL YOU DUE TO CONFIDENTIAL MATTER "
Then I was like" Then I will not call back, cuz we don't have that kind of matter."
I'm from Canada, we never have a credit card in USA....

I got a call from this number asking for a someone I had never heard of. This happened a few times and after telling them to take me off the list they eventually stopped calling. But I now get calls from another 800 number but that one just has no-one on the other end. This started happening recently and the only thing I can think of that gave these people my number was a home and garden show where I put my phone number down for a couple raffles. It started happening soon after that.
Never give your number out

I just got a call from these bozos wanting me to verify my birth date. I said yeah right, you tell me and I will tell you if it is right or not. They guessed wrong. Needless to say, the conversation did not last long after that.

It's FIA Services for Bank of America. If you have a credit card with them, or a AAA Auto Club South card and it's overdue, they will call you relentlessly...sometimes up to 12 times a day. I never answer the first time because I know they call twice in a row. My account isn't even past due. Until you pay it out and cancel the card, I doubt you'll get rid of them.

I received a phone call from Bank Card Services on my cellphone looking for my daughter who is 21. She has never given out my cellphone # to anyone. I called her and told her about it and she does not have a credit card with this company. This is spam and I do not want them calling my cellphone again or I will be sending them a bill for the used minutes.

My girlfriend has been receiving calls from this number for a couple of weeks. The calls received are never from the same person but do identify themselves as from Bank of America Card Services. A couple of times the caller is an Automated Voice.

pay special attention to sections 804,805,806
to get answers to your questions.
it sounds like this "business" is violating a couple of these sections. but consumers have to be informed in order to call them out on it.

Is there a way to get this number to stop calling? Like, a registry or something? I don't want them calling my other phone numbers.
Pat 2007-09-26 20:05:32 Unknown
Keeping getting these calls from this number saying it's 'an important business matter' or 'card services'. Would like it to stop.

This number has been calling me at ALL hours of the day and night, sometimes as many as 5 or 6 times a day. Same thing: "Card services" What can I do??????
Flame 2007-08-19 21:38:57 Unknown
Same as before, they call at 8-10-12-1-3-5-7 and so on. Just card services. I registered my number on the registry and I hope that these people have to stop calling me.

I've been receiving calls from this number for over a month. They leave a pre-recorded message asking me to call back and speak to an analyst. As I travel often, getting calls and having to clear many messages (always the same)in quite annoying. I called them back and told them never to call my number again (they were trying to contact the previous subscriber of my tel. number).
Annonymous 2007-08-08 21:33:10 Unknown
I had couple of calls like that while I was out of town and when I checked the messages and try calling back... after a while my phone was trasferred with automated system when the analyst was not busy and I got the message that I need to hang up and dial again.. I am little suspicious about the call....

Same number two days in a row now. Yesterday they called and told me I had a personal matter and needed to call back. They said they are card services. I called em back and the guy asked for my number so that he could look my case. I gave him the number and when he couldn't find it he asked for my name and that he would like to search it that way. I told him nicely that if he doesnt have my name I sure as hell am not giving it to him. Then hung up. Today when they called I answered and they asked for Mike. I said nope. Then they said oh sorry what was name. I told them it wasn't Mike then hung up. Too funny these phishers trying to mine info from unsuspecting people. I bet a ton of people tell these people all but their social security number. And I bet they already know that. Anyways beware of this number!!!

I recieved a call asking to speak to my husband, and when I said no, they said they were looking for my brother-in-law. They had his name incorrect, so I knew immediately that it wasn't him, so I asked what it was regarding, and she said it was personal business for Bank of America and to have my brother-in-law call her back asking for Michelle at the above number. I asked how and why she called us, and she said they were looking for relatives on the internet because the number they had for him wasn't working! I was so angry that I told her we would file a complaint if she ever called us again.

I called the number back to find out what company it is. No *specific* card services, just "Card Services".
