The do not call registry does what it was created and intended to do.  That is...Simply provide a list of people who do not wish to be called,  to legitimate and registered with the FTC Telemarketing companies.
It is not an army of government employees who monitor,  screen,  or block your unwanted calls,   nor is it a super mega computer.   It is just a LIST compiled by the FTC and purchased by Registered telemarketing companies.    A LIST.    Your caller is a scammer.

My husband and I are getting the same calls from these people and we have never delt with these people. So why are they calling us? I have to opt out so many times because they always hang up on me. They always want to speak to my husband. Not sure what that is all about but I know we have never done business with these people yet they have our info???

I get numerous calls from this number, almost daily.  Sometimes there are calls several times in one day.  I do not know who they are or what they want.  I have reported them but does not do any good.  The do not call registry does not work!!!!!!

I have the same problem--calls at all hours, late at night and early in the morning.   I cannot get  them to stop, they do not leave msgs, and keep filling up my answering machine. I do not answer calls from numbers I do not know.   Checked BofA site and could not find anywhere where I could opt out of 3rd party calls.  I am getting very tired of these **#@*  calls!!!!

Must be a number BOA uses for many things. The call I received was regarding a claim on my Total Protect Home Warranty policy. Legit follow up call. Sheesh. BOA owns everything.

I called them on their Home Maintenance Insurance they were selling under a Bank Of America solicitation I received.  This number was in the advertisement and after calling and asking questions on the standing with better business bureau, I realized they were a flacky scam.

this phone number was associated with a ach debit taken out of my checking account.. bank of america gave me a number to call and when I did it said they were bank of america... I called bank of america back and this is ascam... make sure you check your transactions in your checking account they come up as cchs,,, now i have to go to the bank and close this accont and open a new one...

This # calls everyday. No words are spoken but a hang up sound is recorded taking up my entire answering machine. I called it and she will not connect me to a "do not call" option. She wants my name, address, and # to submit. I would not give it. I blocked the # using my Cox phone service.

They have called up to 19 times a day - every day.  I am NOT a member of BOA, but was a client of Countrywide.  These calls started about three weeks ago and will not stop.  I am on the do not call list, but it doesn't seem to matter to them.

Ok .. seriously .. I'm getting SICK of these calls!  

From what everyone has said, it's BoA .... WE DON'T HAVE AN ACCT WITH BOA!

I dont know HOW they got our number, but they keep calling at all hours!  

And we can't opt out by going to the privacy section of accoutn settings as we dont have an account.

Just discovered on the BOA website a nice online tool to remove yourself from just about everything. Search under their Privacy section for your account settings. It includes opting out of third party calls and mail. Hope it works!

Records show 13 calls over 12 days, 3 yesterday. The caller ID says something like "Total Protection." I do not answer these calls and now know better not to. I'm hoping they give up. I guess BOA considers me fair game since I got a 4.5% 30 year fixed mortgage from them........

Slverwngs was absolutely right.  I followed the lead, got on line and chatted with the B of A customer service agent.  She put me on their no marketing list and the calls should now stop.  Highly suggested for all.

They called about 3:30 on Sunday and did'nt leave a message on my answering machine.

I'm tired of these calls....how do we get rid of them....we are on the "Do Not Call" list.

Received calls from 888-754-5931 constantly for months. They never left a message. I called the number & spoke with a very nice lady who said they were some kind of home warranty customer service company. I asked for them NOT to call me any more and she went through the process of placing me on their do not call list.....so we'll see.

Hey Everyone!  I've been getting calls from this number too and encountered the same problems you all did.  I just went to BOA website and "chatted" with a person in customer service.  I told her about the unwanted calls and that they wouldn't stop calling.  I wanted to know what BOA had to do with it!!!  She checked my records and found that they had not been updated with the "no marketing calls" information.  BOA recently took over Countrywide, so I'm having to deal with them now.  Anyway... the customer service rep noted in my files that I didn't want marketing calls and assured me I'd receive no more calls.  We'll just have to wait and see about that.  But, if you DO have a BOA account, contact them and update your records!  The telemarketer won't stop, but contacting BOA to update your records should solve the problem!  Good Luck!

Bank of America calls on a daily basis and in some cases more then once in one day. My wife will answer and they will ask for me. She tells them I am at work, but will not tell what the call is about. I answered one time when we were eating dinner. They were pedaling medical insurance, claiming it was better then the insurance I had now. I asked them, okay then who do I have now? They ignored my question and were obviously reading from their computer screen. I told them NO! and No! again to anything they were pushing and demanded they cease calling us. The calls continue. We just don't answer when we see their number on the caller ID. I have thought about answering telling them they have the wrong number, that no body by that name lives here.

Insurance- somehow have information from Bank of America.  I believed i got screwed over. Anyone have a solution?

I'm getting charged too, they already took 100 from me. How do you cancel their services.  They said they would send me information about the services and i could cancel afterward but i never received any information.

If you do answer these calls.  Say no to everything.  don't even agree to recieve information.  When they kept asking for my info for security purposes I said if you're with bank of america, then you should have my info.  Just send me some info through the mail and I'll look at it.  they never sent any info, and I still got charged for some sort of insurance.  Remember, say no to everything if you don't want it.

These people are targeting Bank of America customers, but they do not represent Bank of America.  We have been inundated with calls from them for months, and when my wife responded to one of their calls, she was also told that they would only speak to me. I finally had enough, so I called them and demanded that they tell me who they are. I was told that they represent Country Homes, which I believe sells home insurance.

It's BoA and they call multiple times daily, AND won't talk to me, only want to talk to my husband, altho both of our names are on the account! I told them to stop calling! Let's see what happens.
