only an idiot company like rogers would call from a US number, as this number is.
since the moved some support in US when the canadian dollar was high and to avoid payed training, which is a way to trick our laws. i am tiref of this bunch of scammers and got a mission in life to give them sht.
i did not answer them and not planning to answer at all. ever.

They charged me 475$$$ on my visa, and I so don't know they got access to my card... I'm not with this phone company... fraudsters!

Rogers (apparently). They left a message saying that my computer was infected with a virus that could potentially harm others networks and that they'd shut down my internet in 48h if not fixed. They also said they sent me a email with the details...checked, no email. Liars.
tony 2014-03-20 16:46:17 Unknown
If this is Rogers, why are they not leaving voice messages?
surprised 2014-03-12 13:21:41 Unknown
This call was a legitimate follow up to our request for home phone tech support. They called 2 days after the problem was resolved to make sure everything was dealt with properly.
They did try to get an email address out of me to allow for email submission of any new tech support issues...apparently you can email tech support and the appropriate branch will call you instead of forcing you to sit on hold. I asked her why she needed my email address if she was with Rogers, and she explained that she needs to enter an email address that the computer will flag as a real request, otherwise it'll just get ignored. Thinking about it later it seems reasonable. There are 5 email addresses on this account and only 2 of them are monitored to any degree...makes sense to let the customer choose how to be contacted.

I got huge charges on my Visa bill with this as the "merchant". I mean thousands of dollars. Had to call Visa and file a complaint and reverse charges!!
Still don't know what it's about. I am letting Visa handle it. It is not legitimate.

Get these calls every week from Rogers offering to provide search for my business. Rates are $500-$2,000 monthly! Absolute ripoff and they are f##king nuts! I already use Google and pay per click, not sure how much better than can be and if you research online, there are lots of unhappy customers.
snyper 2014-02-24 00:16:37 Unknown
No fee changes now... but watch down the road and I'll bet dollars to doughnuts that your bill will jump.

I absolutely hate these people. I do use their cable services but hate their marketing and customer service. Here's the letter I'm going to send them next time they "call"

Rogers saying after Dec 9th, 2013 that a digital adapter will be needed for any TV connected directly to the cable instead of through a digital cable box in order to receive all the channels. They will provide the adapter for free.

Got a call from 0-000-0000. Guy with heavy accent saying he was John Stevens calling from the federal government and our computer was hacked. He proceeded to give me this phone number for Rogers. Sounds like the scammers are hijacking this number.

I got a call from this number. It was Rogers telling me that there were 'exciting changes' happening on my cable TV account, and that I should call them back if I wanted more information.
I called.
I wasn't really that excited.

I didn't answer; they left voice message. Listening to it now, just advising they've added HD channels to one of my cable packages recently without any changes to monthly fees.

This is Rogers calling. They called me to tell me about new channels added to one of my cable packages.

Just received a call from them, however I am not even a rogers customer, nor have I been for 7 years. WTF?

The call is from ScotiaBank. I got a call from 1-888-764-1732 at 7:42, 1-800-747-3202 at 8:06 and this number at 8:13 and they all seem to be from ScotiaBank. These stupid idiots won't leave me alone. I have had my unlisted number for 1 year and 1 day. The only junk calls I have had have been from ScotiaBank. I called this number back and there was a message saying it was ScotiaBank but their offices were closed. They are calling me outside their office hours but they won't answer when I call them. About a year ago, I picked up a ScotiaBank call once or twice but there was no one there. I refuse to deal with telemarketers. Besides, if I were to answer the phone, I wouldn't be able to help myself and would scream into it at the top of my lungs. I've been turning my answering machine off when I'm home to try to get them to stop calling me and when they call, I just let it ring. I don't have an account with BNS and never have and never will. About 50 years ago, my late husband started working for them and was treated unfairly so he quit his job and refused to deal with them ever again so in honour of him, I won't deal with them.

Got a call yesterday evening. When I answered, it was total silence. Then, a man said : "Hello" and hung up.
Kara 2013-11-08 21:13:56 Unknown
I don't even have a Rogers account anymore so I can't think of a reason for them to call me. I didn't answer it.
James 2013-10-03 17:21:01 Unknown
I didn't answer the call, and no message left. Consider a junk phone call.

They just called me three times in a row. I finally picked up the third time, and it was someone from Rogers Communications, saying they are calling to confirm my appointment. I've never even heard of them before. They asked me if i was "Terry," and I said no, and they said "Jill?" and I said no, so he apologized and hung up.
