TANGARINE MERCHANTS or TANGARINE PAYMENT SOLUTIONS 100% FRAUD. I got an unsollicited call from a person called Fatima to sed her my current charges with Moneris to see what they can offer me. I have sent it by hiding all the account information etc. 1 week after I received a call from Mya Karonah (aka Saini) offering me better rate than my current provider Moneris from supposedly Tangerine Merchants acting as an independent broker. She really offered a very interesting rate over the phone. She faxed me the papers and called me back right after and after going through the rates she asked me to sign the paper on which she had filled the rates and I had not enough time to read all the fine prints. I have faxed it back to her and started to wait for the machines and in meantime I read the fineprints and asked to other competitors to give me an offer. What I realized is that the rates written on the paper had a small sign + in front which was contradicting what she had told me over the phone. I tried to call her back several times but always got an answering machine. I was not able to get the + sign clarified.  After 1 week I did not receive a  call back form my rep but from another person telling me that the papers faxed to them were not accepted by the bank because not readible and she wanted to send them back by email to get them picked up by Fedex. I mentioned my concerns and that I wanted to cancel, She said she will pass the message to Mya. I did not hear anything until I sent an email to her "VP" mentioning the situation and that I wanted to cancel the application. Then I got a call from Mya. At the end, they want to charge me $ 500 x3 because I have 3 small business and neede 3 machines for Liquidated Damages. I have not received the machines, did not start the service and never received the completed application forms. I mistake was to trust the lady and send her the signed forms half filled. I have reported this to Better Business Bureau and tomorrow I am calling Consumer Protection Office. There is a serious misrepresentation between what they say over the phone and how they are writing on the documents and how they can use it against you.  I have left messages to my bank to inform them to stop any money withdrawal from my account under Tangarine Merchants or Tangarine Payment Solutions. I have informed my lawyer of situation and mentiond clearly to TANGARINE TO CANCEL MY APPLICATION. They tried hard and threatened me to proceed with the payment of $ 1500 if I cancel or move forward with the application. I made it very clear that I was asking the cancellation of the application and they can not withdraw money from my bank account. Really deceiving to see that there are very unscrupulous people ready to "steal", and do misrepresentation to trap you.

You guys are freak... tangerine merchants really does lower the rates I'm paying for visa and mastercard and I'm happy about it. You should have listened first before you react.. f*** being nice everyone dies..:)

Tangerine merchants called me the other day regarding the rate adjustment program that i am entitled to receive and they just did it, they made my rates lower than i expected.. thanks to agent jim. =))

I got a call from "Tangarine" and they asked me to fax my billing statement from moneris so they can eliminate hidden charges and guess what? i got a better rates from them "SUCK MONERIS"
time to wake up guys, you have to catch the real tangarine not the f****ng brokers only!

Nonsense "Tangarine" will never call you and talk b***s*** like they are Merchant Brokers Canada. Some Scammers did it. and you are scamming to score in the records of Tangarine

Best way try to call the number to verify. simple

My present payment processing company is Tangarine and still received calls from some body from Tangarine. As for query i called tangarine support to verify the information but got that nobody from their side has called me. I got to know from few of my friends that some rival company generally do that for degrading the company name or some telemarketeers wanting to earn some quick bucks by fooling us. Better check with Tangarine if you are a tangarine customer or check with them for verifications.

I just got a call from Tangerine Merchants. They told me that I should be paying %30 less than I am. They asked for my Moneris statement. I did not send it.

I received a call from "Tangerine Merchants" asking about the rates I was paying for my Visa/Mastercard.  When I asked for a number for them....they gave me this number.  When I said that last time they called they had told me they were from Merchants Canada....he hung up!  The caller ID on my phone said 1-854-789-6521

I received a phone call from them this morning...number he gave me to call back was this number.  He said he was calling from Vivex Payment Centre trying to confirm if we had received a discount.

Cross-reference with 888-913-2009:  Same scam, they call themselves Merchant Brokers Canada (no such name on look-up), canadianmerchantsgroup.ca

We didn't FAX moneris statement as requested, but they continue to call back, hoping to catch someone willing to send it.  These guys are relentless!
