Nationwide starts this nonsense once you receive an online quote from a competitor. In 8 years, never once did they call to review anything. Get a USAA quote, now this call magically appears weekly.

Sounds like they practively call their policy holders to see if they have any questions or concerns regarding their policy (at every renewal) Sure they try to upsell you something while they got you on the phone but still nice they call I think.

Even when i set up everything on line, paid in full and marked NO for sales and discount information by email or by phone, this Jack called in today and did not want to get off line until I hung up on him. so pushy and so unprofessional

This is Nationwide Auto Insurance (with whom I am insured), calling to let me know about their autopay (ESP) program that saves $5 a month over monthly billing. I do not know if they use it for other calling programs also. They were very helpful with some other questions, and in transferring me to claims for windshield chip repair.

this number plus others seem to think it's okay to continue to call and then hang up leaving no message.
