I just received a call from Calvin Johnson too stating that he was going to come to my work and serve me but rather not, so I need to call 888-787-7618 and see if they will change my work address to my home and be served there. When i called the number i spoke to a "ALEX SANDERS' he stated that now owed $2019.94 due to it went to court. I asked him why didn't i receive a supeona for the court hearing and was told it was mailed out to me. He then said he might me able to help me if no one has signed my papers that are being served to me. He came back on the line and said i was in luck, and that if i paid $592.47 my case would be resolved.
Is this a SCAM??? I'm so nervous about it. I don't know what to do.
Should I pay them???
I've already had anothe company try to come after me for this same Credit Card, but nothing shows up on my credit!!!

need to add that they left a voicemail stating I needed to contact their plantiff's attorney- so first time we called back we were hung up on..second time a man answered and said that they do not make outgoing calls-so I gave them the name Calvin Johnson.. he then proceeded to tell me that was the process server and I was getting ready to be served papers... and asked me to verify my date of birth and last four of my social.. I said no.. he then said he couldnt help me...
my sister owns a processor server company and you dont call clients to warn them they are coming... calling clark howard.

Got a call a few minutes ago from my companies operator stating that I received a complaint - letigation for tomorrow and my company operator gave me a number to call 1-888-797-7618 and a case number to reference when I called.  It so happens that these idiots had the wrong person and were looking for someone with a different middle initial, different last four of the social and a suffix that I do not even have!!!!  They called my Fuc*** work!  Oh and to top it off the lady on the other end sounded like Dolly Parton I thought it was a prank from a colleauge but of course it wasn't just a bunch of low paid idiots !!!

My husband informed me yesterday that he had spoken to someone who was processing legal paperwork, and that our names are on the paperwork. He asked this person for more information and he forwards my husband to call 888-787-7618, and referenced a case number. My husband calls this number and spoke to  a man name Derek Johnson. My husband asked what this matter was about and Derek proceeds on telling him that I have owed money for a 2003 gym membership. My husband tells him that he has no idea what he is talking about and that he will asked me to give him a call. I called the man back today, and had advised the man that I am not sure what he is talking about, and that I am requesting proper documentation on this debt that he says I owed. He tells me that he can not forward me any paperwork, and that he can only VERBALLY tell me the details of the debt, like how he told my husband. He then proceeds on telling me that the only paperwork he can forward me is a settlement out of court and if i would like to pay out of court. I tell him "Do you understand that I can not pay or settle on debt that I do not recognize?" He asked if I am disputing this debt, and I tell him that I am disputing this debt and that he is required by law to provide me with proper documentation because I am requesting it. He rudely tells me that I can dispute it in court and that I am being sued, then hangs up on me. I have just finished filing a complaint with the Attorney General of my state.

This is a collection agency called Capital Management Services. They call me 2 to three times per day asking for someone I don't know and who doesn't live here. Then they don't take voicemails when they are closed so you can't complain that way. Go to their website at:

they called and it came up as unknow on my phone and then they called my HR at work. the person said his name was Sean Roberts. tried looking up the number and was unable to find out who it belongs to. not calling it back.

got a call from this number today. it showed up as unknown on my caller ID. the message left was from Sean Roberts saying I need to get ahold of them about case#******. I saved the message. then he called my HR at work.

I received the same call 01,Aug 12, I asked who the debt was from they would not say. They just stated I needed to be home for the summons, I will be there with my partner he will let them in the gate and will not let them out until i give a command, bet I will get some answers now.

I have also been receiving calls from this number, but for someone named Sean (whom I don't know).  They claim it has to do with a case number, and that a response must be made withing 24-48 hours, or they will prosecute.  These calls are being placed to a NEW number I received recently, so I think they might be trying to find the person who had it previously.  The woman who calls herself idetifies hersalf as Lucy Ford.  The first call said something about it having to do with a case in NY state (I don't live there).  Don't know who it is or what they want.  I tried calling back, but the number was unreachable.  Thanks to your information, I will NOT try again.

I recieved a call in MARCH of 2012, & a guy gave me the run down & it sound so real, until i asked about some info about who they are & what do they do & the guy got so DEFENSiVE & started with the THREATs. But before I called the number back, I got the number from my BROTHERs MOTHER in LAW, which was STRANGE & she said that, they started THREATiNG her first & she told them that she's going to CONTACT the SHERiFFs DEPARTMENT & that's when they asked her if she know's who I am, which was strange, because how can you ask someone else that they just threaten & ask about someone else, how did they know WE knew eachother, so I called the number back in MARCH of 2012 & it was # 888-787-7602 & guy gave me his name as, MR. REYNOLDs & said that US BANK is taking me to court, they said my address that I use to live at in 2004, but i didn't bank with US BANK in that year, so I happen to ask him, "what's the ADDRESS so I can send you a CHECK" he said, "oh, we don't take CHECKs or CREDiT CARDs, we only take PRE-PAiD CARDs" so I figured they were a BUNCH of SCAMMERs, I said, "thank you & that if they ever come to my house that the sheriffs department will be waiting for them" & the guy just hung up.

I have recieved another call from a lady this morning 7/18/2012 & her voice was so scratchy, like she was ill & i couldn't understand her at all, she had NEVER said her name or who she worked for & called from a BLOCKED number, but she did give me the # 888-787-7618 & told me to call the number to SCHEDULE a time for someone to come out to my HOUSE to SERVE me a SUMMONs. So my husband had called the number & a guy answered the phone, NEVER gave a NAME, but he said he worked for FULL SPECTRUM LiTiGATiON, but didn't give any ID number, my husband was so upset, that when my husband said that the SHERiFF DEPARTMENT will be waiting for them when ever they decide to come out to our house. The guy got so DEFENSiVE & hung up, lol. they do sound like tellamarketer's that has nothing better to do or even get a REAL JOB that they have to bother people with thier FAKE TACTiCs. If they were really going to give people SUMMONs, they wouldn't CALL to WARN you, they just POP up at your DOOR. SiLLy RABBiTs, TRiCKs are for KiDs.

We got a lot of calls from this number. I think it's a debt collector.

Have you tried filing the hardship form with the courts?  Contact your courthouse!

This message is for patrick terry.   you shouldnt pay them.  they cant do garnishments on your pay check.   the only ones that could do that is a debt from IRS AND State.  this type of call is a scam. they are violating the law.   privacy debt law.   dont answer private unavailable restricted calls

I received this type of call 2 days ago from a restricted call on somebody else phone number.  This is from an old debt of mine which is way to higher than what I owed back in 2006.  They threat me on doing a lean on something that alraedy has a lean.  they said they were going to serve me to go to court. also they provided me with a case number. i hang up.  they are violating debt privact act.    this type of debts are not irs or state.   they are sure wasting their time

I received a civil judgement from this firm not realizing that my paychecks were going to be garnished. I dont even know how I am going to keep my head above water. I only make $360 a week and I have to give these people $90 a week on a 3,962.56 judgement. I am the only one working in my household so this effects my family in a major way. i now have to make payment arrangements with my utility companies just so I can keep electricity and gas and water on. Does anyone have any advice on getting this judgement lifted? Is there any other way to make arrangements with the court? Im lost...

This is a scam do not respond, they called me yesterday telling me if I didn't pay 1200 in two hours I was being served with papers and being sued for 4500, looked it up on line the buisness is full spectrum litigation and if they call back tell them you have contacted your lawyer and posing as an officer, which they do is 10 years in federal prison!

I got the exact message that you stated. I am assuming that this is some nasty collection agency because I get chased by them for my ex's debt. But I would like to know the exact company myself. They blocked their caller id but the number you listed is where they said for me to call back. Of course I won't.

I would like to know who owns this number. My daughter received a voicemail from this number stating that the call was intended for me and went on to say that a complaint had been filed against me, left a case # and call back number of 888-787-7618..... a different set of last four digits was left, then corrected to 7618 at the end of the message. Said that action would be taken without my consent if I did not call back within 48 hours.
Luckily my daughter saved it and allowed me to hear it. Usually, if the voicemail is not intended for her she would have deletedit promptly
