Got a ton of calls from this place. Called back and they don't even answer with a company name, they say 'corprate office.' Asked for the chick that left the voicemail, and they were trying to collect for a credit card I had that I had already paid off last year. She kept bothering me at work, I tracked down info showing the account was paid off, but she didn't want to hear it. Refused to give me an email to I could send her proof, instead she said she was going to email me so I'd then get her addy. Of course she never did. VERY rude and tried to be intimidating but these people don't scare me. Threatened me with getting served at work. Of course no one ever showed up and I haven't heard back since I told her I contacted the company I actually paid the account with. Got my credit report fixed too. I can only assume they got it off my report which listed the last four of the credit card account number, and she never did give me the whole number.

A good way to find out if these people are scams or not, if you really do owe a bill.. Pull your credit report, if their name doesn't appear on there, then its a scam if it does well then I suggest you call these people and find out what they are doing listed on your credit report. Credit reports dont just list anyone one on there. It has to be a legit company that is being reported as the company your past due bill was sold too or if your actually being sued then the litigation, lawyers office, or law firm's company name will be listed as well.  

I personally don't take other peoples word about being scams from these websites because they,re either upset or annoyed or they just simply stupid I suggest you do your own research, and once again best research available is pulling your credit report if they are saying that your being sued, or they are trying to collect etc..

and  no im not a "shill" I've done my own research for years when I get phone calls like these or letters in the mail. and to date never been "scammed".

I was a reference for another person and these people are harassing me.

the man we live with answered the phone from this place and they demanded he contact his daughter and her ex-husband because they were getting sued or something - was very rude and insisted he must contact her immediately.

I told him to hang up then looked it up, got this place, and glad I did.

I got the same call and they referred me to BMG with a reference number. It was about a business dealing that my ex wife's husband had. The sheriff did accompany someone out the next day. When I asked what would keep me from going to court, they replied tell me where he is. I gave them the information. Nothing personal that they couldn't have gotten off of public records.

I got a call about legal document needed to be delivered.  I asked questions and was told to call BMG or B&G Associates at 888-484-4485.  I was given a case number to refer to.  I called. The phone was answered simply "Corporate Headquarters."  That seemed odd.  I asked what this was in reference to and they gave me a couple of names of people I've never heard of and told me I was listed as an alternate contact.

It sounds like a debt collection agency reaching for straws to me.  We'll see if there is further contact with this company.

Got a call last FRI or SAT they were going to be @ my property between 9am and noon today. Got another call this morning (Monday) they were going to be @ my property between 11am and 12:30. I called this afternoon from a grocery store's courtesy phone & I could not understand the girl's pronunciation of the business. She asked for a case number. Neither voice mail message gave one. I hung up. I assumed before I did any Google phone number searches this was an internet loan scam, and the other posts here confirm my suspicions. What I have done before is call the number back, scream and yell that I know they are a scam and that I have turned over their phone number, message(s), time and date stamps to the FBI. I order them to NEVER, EVER contact me again. Surprisingly, so far, they never call back. hmmmmmmm....

I had this number 888-848-4485 and said they were with BMG law group and that they had try to serve me 2 times before and that they were going to sue me for 1500 and that if I did go to court I would end up paying 5000 dollars to pay for the lawyer and then I told her that I am looking at this number on.line and said they were a scam and then she got really rude and I said then just serve me the papers and she got really really rude then and Hung up on me.

A shill is a scammer's partner in crime.  In this case a scammer is calling victims, trying to get them to pay a bill they don't owe.  The shill posts that the scammer isn't a scammer, that the bill is real.  The victims google the number, land here, see the shill's post, and give money to the scammer.

My 84 year old MIL got a call from this number. She did not answer so it went to VM. Her VM comes to my email because she does not know how to get her VM's. Imagine my surprise when I played the message and heard MY NAME.  I called the number and gave them the reference number. They said they were trying to deliver documentation to me from someone that I had never heard of.  I explained they were calling my MIL's number and her address but they never asked for my mailing information. They knew my maiden name but then when I said I knew of no one by the name they said it was from they became baffled. They then gave me her full name as well as another name variation she goes by and still nothing. They then told me to check with family members. I told them it was a small family and I know for a fact there is no one by that name anywhere in our family. BIZARRE!

I received a messege telling me to call this number or they will take action.  I sounded like a scam, but when I called the number they said I will get a supoena.  They were very rude.

So I finally called the number back, it turns out that they were trying to reach my husband he had listed me as an alternative contact in regards to the legal documentation. I contacted my husband and told him to call in, he called me back saying that it was in regards to a summons for him to appear in court and they wanted to make sure he was aware of that and to make sure he will be there to sign for it when it arrives.

I recieved a phone call aswell I answered and it turns out that it was a delivery service looking to deliver court documents to my home. I did not have any idea what they were for, they provided me with a number to call which is this one in particular for more info. I will call and post what this is in regards to

Its a scam.  If you answer their call they will demand payment for a payday loan that you never got.  Now they are threatening to come to your house and have you arrested for not paying a loan you never got.

You have nothing to worry about.  The caller is in Pakistan or some other 3rd world country where scamming dumb Americans is not a crime.  They will not come to your house.  They will continue to call you, threatening to come, but they will never show up.

Calls like yours are all over this board.  The caller uses special software to spoof the phone number.

I got a similar message.  They called for weeks with no message and now they tell me they are coming to my home this morning.  They knew my full name and also that of my husband.  Almost made it sound like I we were being served or being sued or something. Told us: "Good Luck".  WTF????  I don't like this.

Not only have they called me for weeks, leaving no message, I finally got a message from them last night saying they are coming TO MY HOME in the morning, but never said why.... I don't like this.

Hi johnny. I would recommend trying to contact them again and find out whats going on, if its nothing of importance then tell them to stop calling you. I got a message today and I will call them when I can and post on here what its in regards to. Hopefully this helps.

Left a message about some kind of document crap that needs to be left at my house. Cant get a hold of them, if they show up at my house they will probably end up with a gun in there face being asked to leave nicely. Im tired of them calling me.
