This is driving me nuts . . twice a day they call . . . . .and it says it is a US number . .

IT IS A SCAM! It is not Rogers, nor any affiliate thereof. It is a scam pure and simple. I phoned twice within 20 min today and got two different answers as to why I was phoned. 1 was because of data and minute overages on my accounts, one was because of a special promotion. IT IS A SCAM! BEWARE OF PHYLLIS! She answered several of my calls

Missed call, no message

Same number calls twice a day to cell and land line. I never answer and they don't leave a message.
My numbers are on the "no call" list!

The caller identifies her or himself as from Rogers Wireless....calling about my "account".  I advise I do not have an account and do not want to receive any more calls....they don't even listen...."oh we'll call you back at a more convenient time".  I hear a chuckle in the background....this sets me off.   I say no you won't; I don't have a Rogers wireless account and I don't want one....capeche?  Five minutes later they call my boyfriend on his cell....unbelievable.  Do these TMRs work on a per call basis....does Rogers Corporate know these TMRs are not parading Rogers in its best light.  Maybe someone from Corporate should listen to these "calls recorded for quality and training purposes" and make the TMR trainers accountable for their incumbents' very poor sales / customer service skills. (TMR teleMarketing rep).  Better yet, I'm writing Rogers Wireless.

This number called my cell, my home, my mother's cell, and my cell again withing 5 minutes. (we are on a family bundle) I picked up the second call to me and no body spoke, so I hung up again. Quite annoying.

Every day they call.  Why.  They have sucked me dry to my bones; nothing more to drink here.

I have been receiving a call from this number nearly once a day. It has actually been happening since I switched to Telus from Rogers. I answer, no answer on the other end, then their end hangs up. Every time. If there is some kind of issue, I wouldn't know because no-one is talking to me, and I can't talk to someone to be removed from the list.

I have put that number of my reject list, but it still gets through.

Rogers Telemarketing calling telling me I'm due for an upgrade though I didn't need one. Was friendly and gave me 100 extra daytime minutes for the rest of my term just as a gratitude of Rogers' appreciation. Better than most Rogers' telemarketer calls where they offer me services I can't get in my region.

My contract w Rogers will be expired in a couple months n I started getting this call w no message on my cell phone 2 or 3 times a day. Now I began to get txt messages what a pain ***

This number calls once a day. I have never answered the phone because I assumed it was some kind of annoyance. My husband is on Bell and has received the odd telemarketing call, when he told the last person "If I receive one more call from telemarketers I am going to cancel Satellite, Internet and Cellular, take my number off the list and put a note in my account." He never received a single call since.
Rogers must use third party call centers or outsourcing. Funny thing, he now works for Rogers. LOL.

several calls several times a week, daytime & evening to both land line and cell phone. Never answer unidentified callers. No msgs are ever left.

This is Rogers (cell phone provider) calling repeatedly. Total, relentless neanderthals calling about "special offers". They are continually spamming us. Nothing more than a sales pitch to get you to sign up for a data plan. Our contract expires at the end of the year. I've had enough Rogers Marketing experiences to do me for a lifetime. I will be signing up with Telus in December.

October 8th: After asking to be removed from the call list, what happens? Yet another call today from Rogers on our cell phone. They have called us 30 TIMES in the last 6 weeks. On both our cell and home numbers. This is absolute insanity. The most aggressive, persistent and relentless marketing campaign I've seen in the 21st century.

October 14th: They call us AGAIN on our home phone number. I called them back and asked them to remove us from their call list ONCE AGAIN and what happens? The telemarketer hangs up on me half way into the conversation. Click. Gone. I told Rogers that I will be cancelling my service with them as soon as my partner gets back from his trip and I will be doing that. We've been a Rogers customer for over 10 years, since back in the Cantel days. Never have we been able to successfully remove our numbers from their telemarketing lists no matter how hard we've tried. Neanderthal, relentless marketing tactics.

October 21st: Now they're instant messaging us - absolutely relentless marketing techniques. I guess business must be pretty poor these days. We get it three ways now:

- marketing calls on our home telephone number
- marketing calls on our cell phone number
- marketing by SMS on our cell phone

Would YOU buy a cell phone and a contract from this company? Over 30 times now in the course of just one month, this company has literally harrassed us to no end. They won't stop no matter how many times we call them to ask to be removed from their marketing lists. Logging on to rogers.com and changing our marketing permissions hasn't done us an ounce of good in 18 months. Contract luckily runs out next month.

Anyone reading this - don't use Rogers. Go with Telus or someone else. Times must be tough for the big "R" if they have to resort to calling us 30 TIMES within 6 weeks. Screen this number out on your phone as they do not honor requests to stop calling. Absolutely disgusting marketing techniques from a company this size.

They call me every day, just once, and haven't stopped for three weeks straight. I do believe this is a Rogers marketing service, to try to sell you new products and contracts. When I asked Rogers about this they told me that once I have phoned them, the number is stored into their registry and, well go figure, you get auto dialed by them in the future. And as far as I can figure, you can't get them to stop unless you actually answer the call and talk to them, but then you'll just get phoned again because, YEP!, they have your number and they are slick liars, when it comes to that.

I've missed a few calls from that number this week also.
