this company is a total scam...State Power and lighting and Environmental Industries are the same company.... you can read all of the repetitive compliants about them online..  they make an inbound call and get a name within the business.. that person by answering the phone just became the "authorized purchaser" of light bulbs and and $50 hand sanitizer.. they auto ship UPS and count on a blind signature from anyone at the building to bill you... the products are sent out of a PO BOX address on purpose... when you call the customer service they claim they will have UPS do a pick up... but UPS does not pick upto a PO BOX...after that they wait for the bill to go unpaid and threaten a collection action as the option to return is outside of their 30 day policy window... they attempt to settle with you ... and REpeat the autoship!!!!
BBB has been notified as well as State Attorney Generals office...

This co is a scam be aware it is not legit whoever ordered from state power and light be prepared to pay extremely high price for cheap garbage that you can obtain cheaper at your local hardware store be warned they will not let you talk to person who claims they took order from you

A sales person by the name of Ryan called our shop foreman in April and sold him 25 bulbs.  They arrived.  Today we received another 25 bulbs, which according to "Customer Service" salesperson Ryan called our foreman on 6/19/13 to confirm that the back order was set to ship.  Our foreman said to cancel the "back order" but "Ryan" hung up on him.  The bulbs arrived today.  I called "Customer Service" and they in turned called our foreman and then called me back to say it was OK.  I called the foreman who said he told them to cancel the back order and come pick up what arrived today

They seem to think that just because they make a call and connect to a person that gives them the right to send merchandise.  Tomorrow I'm going to call "Customer Service" again with my shop foreman present and tell them they have 5 business days to issue a call tag and pick these up @ no charge to us and issue a full credit or I will consider them a gift and report back to the Better Business Bureau and maybe the Maryland Consumer Affairs department and tell them how much we appreciate their gift.

Total Scam!

First, someone from State Power and Lighting calls you on the phone and starts a conversation unrelated to lights at all.  Later, you get lights sent to your receiving department.  State Power & Lighting will then send the invoice to your accounting department.  When you call back, they claim you spoke with someone and authorized a purchase for lights.  They insist that the initial phone call was made to place an order, but they can't prove that you actually ordered anything.

"F" rating with the BBB.  They'll send unauthorized purchases to you and bill you for it.

They do send the lightbulbs and be prepared for the invoice.  It is a complete scam.  Do not order and refer to the BBB for more information.  My gut is that James & Sammy work for them.

Yeah, they have an "F" rating from the Better Business Bureau.  Sounds pretty legit to me.

i got some for my shop, one of the lights was busted when it got here, so when i called to tell them, they were like. yeah, we can send you a replacement out today, call if you need anything else. seemed like a nice guy.

I've ordered from them before. The lights got here quick, they were exactly what we ordered, and I've yet to have any issues with them. I'd recommend them.

That they do. I ordered some from them yesterday. Haven't gotten them yet (obviously) but they seemed pretty legit over the phone. Looking forward to seeing the actual product.

I got a call from this number too, they were selling lightbulbs I think.

Rang a few times, but I didn't have the number in my phone. They didn't leave a message.
