According to our Attorney General, Rush Consulting represents those who have mortgage(s) financed with firms, e.g. Chase, JP Morgan, Wells Fargo, Bank of America, etc, who were sued for shady practices. A settlement is in effect and those affected by these practices (who had such mortgage issues, e.g. foreclosure attempts), may be entitled to payments/payback. So the letters received from Rush Consulting is legit, just to determine if you qualify. Yea, scammers will jump on this and say send me money and I will see that you get your share. Rush will not request any money from you, just facts to determine your status with the institutions involved to see if you qualify for the settlement.

I received a post card from Rust Consulting stating I would receive a cash settlement and to speak only to Rust Consulting. It seemed liked a scam.

Rust Consulting send me a letter stting that I will receive a check them regarding a payment that is due to me, they gave me their information and told me to contact them. It didn't sound crediable so I write to you.

Re:  JPMorgan Chase violation of foreclosure laws lawsuit.  Likely they are trying to contact you about receiving a portion of the lawsuit settlement.  Likely you have/had a Mortgage with Chase that went through procedures where procedure violations occurred and you are due compensation for said violations.
