Why is there even a do not call registry if nobody enforces it? These people call me all the time.

I hung up and called the number back. It rang through to their call center, so when they answered I said, " Hello? I am David from the Windows Technical Department and there is a problem with your Windows operating system..." (In my best Indian accent). They got pissed off and hung up.

I have received numerous calls from these guys. They keep telling me that they are getting messages from my windows computer. Since I don't own one it's clearly a scam. I've hung up on these guys several times and they kept calling back. Some government agency should shut these guys down.

Here we go again with the non-stop calls from these f****rs! They have called my unlisted cell phone 3 times today. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE SCAM ARTISTS!
Sami J 2014-05-08 20:42:21 Unknown
Grrrr... Please tell me you are kidding and you realize this is just a hoax for them to get your information. Furthermore, I hope you gave them absolutely none of your personal information. This wasn't Microsoft or the Windows Technical Department, it is a huge scam. These people buy your phone numbers from various places and then go to work trying to convince you to allow them access to your system so they can plant a virus, which in turn monitors your keystrokes and the instant you buy something online, they capture your credit card numbers and go have some fun shopping at your expense. Whatever you do, do NOT give these dou***bags access to your computer or a credit card number to "fix" the problem.

Guy has called my unlisted cell phone number several times in May. He leaves messages like "hello, hello, hello?, Hello? HELLO?" then you hear talking (like a call center) and he just hangs up. A$$ HOLES!!!!!!!!!

When these turkeys call, have some fun, and string them along as long as you can, wasting as much of their time as possible. While you play with them, they aren't making any money, and they aren't annoying anyone else.

This is a scammer, the usual Windows "we need your pc info in order to help you" scam.
Some lazy and jealous third-worlder wants to share my money with himself.
When they call you, have some fun, and string them along, wasting as much of their time as you can. If enough of us do this, perhaps they will give up scamming and get a life.

This fellow with an Indian accent keeps calling me trying to let him get access to my computer. I'd like him to stop, I don't know who he is, some stranger trying to scam me...

Total a$$ holes call me weekly.

These people have called repeatedly. Typically, we don't answer. However, this a.m. I decided to 'chat' with the caller who said that my "Windows computer" had problems. I told them I didn't have a Windows computer but do have an HP, a Dell, etc. (six in all). I asked which one had the problem. Wouldn't you know: all of them!! I said I guessed I'd better fire my IT guy then and hung up.

I hope this is your attempt at humor???
Clarence Graham 2014-04-29 21:54:53 Unknown
I have received 15 phone calls from this number and say their name is Alex. I have asked them to take my name off their list every time. Last night they called at 11:11 PM.

At least they are calling me in the afternoon instead of the evening. Yesterday and today. Kept them on for half an hour yesterday. Today, they called and said they believed that I was the primary user of the PC. I told them I wasn't and hung up. Not wasting any more time with these dudes.
Allyson Strobel 2014-04-29 19:33:45 Unknown
I just received a scam call but did not know it was for sure til he asked for money. They scare the holy heck out of you and show you where all these warnings and danger signs on your computer are. I said I want to verify who you are and call Microsoft and they started talking faster and interrupting me more and more so I hung up and they tried to call back 3 times. Beware all, it is a major scam!!!!
Dee H 2014-04-29 04:31:39 Unknown

2nd call in two days. Auto dialer. After saying hello and waiting for a short while, person from "Windows service" answers, informs you that your computer is infected, and practically demand that you provide him with remote access so that he can correct the issue. Are these fools serious?
This has been going on for a very long time. Where is the FCC? Where is the FBI?

One call about 11:30 last night, another tonight around 9:00 p.m. Did not answer, suspected it was something similar to what is described in earlier posts. If anyone knows any course of action to take, please describe.

This is a internet IP phone number that is spoofing the phone number you see on your caller ID. The Number you see displayed is NOT the number they are calling from, they send false info thru the system that make you think that's who they are.
They are the same Scammers in India that have for the last 10 years been fooling people into giving up Their computer access information such as IP address info and allowing them access to that persons computer.
They then do several things they put a virus on your system that causes you to have to pay them to remove it, or, they take your files that hold your password info for your accounts and copy it to their computer and use that info to commit fraud. you can tell them to put you on the do not call list all you want, they are committing fraud , do you really think that they will abide by the do not call laws?
I mean really....think about it.
The best thing you can do is to play totally stupid and keep them on the phone as long as you can, DO NOT GIVE THEM any CORRECT IP address info , however If you want to have fun with them , and tie them up so they don't make money and cant defraud someone else, go ahead act like you don't know what they are telling you to do or how to do it, then eventually just tell them your IP address is 75.12.34.56. they wont be able to access your system, and it will really piss them off that they got no money out of the time they spent with you.
LOL....the ultimate goal is to make as many of those calls as unpleasant for them as you can , if they cant make money doing it eventually they will stop .
