This guy txted me twice to buy my camera.. He said it is a gift for his son overseas. I basically told him to read my ad again as i wrote that i do not accept paypal. He txted the following day again not realizing that i saved his number. Whenever you sell stuff on craigslist make sure to put that you do not accept PAYPAL.

This a***ole just did the same thing to me, he responded to me craigslist ad and said he was marine living in nigeria and wanted the camera for his son studying zoology, and that i needed to ship the camera asap! my dumbs did it, i was under the impression that he already paid, because he sent me fake payola payments! then he said nigerian customs was demanding that i send 300$ wtf?!! so now, my camera is lost and i didn't receive any money :(

I posted a tablet on craiglist and got a text from the same number and same scenario as CraigO except it was for his son who is studying zoology in Suruerle, Nigeria.  His name was "Fred Jones" and his son's name was "John Christian"

Yep, scum scuking scamster. Now he is claiming he is a Marine and it's for his sister's son. What losers.

I had posted that im selling my laptop on craigslist, and this guy texted me saying he wanted it, first he told me he was in san marcos and he would rather meet me and give me the 300$ but then the next text he said he was in Qeens,NY for a few days, i told him i could wait the few days and meet him to give it to him, he refused and wanted me to do the payment on PayPal. i had never heard of it so i made one, But somethin in my gut didnt feel right so i started looking up his number and found this now i am very angry someone is doing this fraud stuff from this number. I am as now NOT texting this number and he will not be getting my laptop i advice anyone selling anything look up the number to see if you are getting scammed.

This is a scammer that wants whatever you are selling on Ebay, Craig's List etc sent to Nigeria and he sends fake Paypal payment email.
