I answered the call and got a recording that talked about lowering the interest rate on my credit cards. Was told to "press 1 to talk to an agent or press 2 to disconnect". I wanted to know more about why they weren't honoring the DO NOT CALL list, so I pressed 1 and spoke with Jennifer. I asked the name of the company and asked why they were not honoring the DO NOT CALL list but all she would say is "do you want me to remove your number from our list?" Well DUH! After I hung up, I tried to file a complaint with the national do not call list but their website was having issues so I'll try later.

This is one of those pre-recorded annoying calls "concerning my credit card," I have received MANY calls from this number, and keep pressing "3" which is SUPPOSED to STOP the ridiculous calls, but it does not help.
GRRRR,  how is this legal to keep bothering me when I keep requesting to NOT get called from them?

They called while I was out, as evidenced by the caller ID.  "Card Services" seems to call me about once a month.  I usually hit "1" to speak to a representative, and then give fake name, credit card number, Social Security number, etc to waste their time.  In the past I have given a fake 800 number for my credit card company.  It occurs to me that maybe I should give them a real one. That can waste more of their time if they get connected and have to wonder whether they correctly entered all those fake account numbers I gave them.  BTW Visa starts with 4, and Mastercard starts with 5.

Just got a call from them.  It was a recorded call about my credit card saying there was nothing wrong with the card, but I should talk to them about lowering my credit card interest rate.  I hung up at that point.

Caller hung up before answering machine picked up (I have it set to 6 rings, this seems to discourage most callers). This is the first time I have seen this number (at least in the several months since I started paying attention).

So far I haven't heard the sales pitch for the car warranty.  If I do I'm sure I can feed them some nice, plausible-sounding, false data to waste their time.

I got one of these calls. I didn't listen all the way through as I was just leaving the house. However, I highly recommend everyone to go to;

http://www.fcc.gov/cgb/complaints.html and file a form 1088.

The more complaints they get the easer it will be for the FCC to shut them down and impose some hefty fines against them.

Called here today, no message.  when i returned call  got "disconnected" message.  Is this legal, I see it's been going on awhile.

Can they put that "disconnected" message up themselves, and it is not going thru the phone company?

A message is left about no problem with my account right now and goes on about lowering my interest rates. I pressed option 2 several time, which is to be taken off their call list. After 3 months it still hasn't happened.

This bozo keeps calling here too. I went to the web site for the
Fla. Attorney General's office and filed a complaint. If enough people do that, maybe we can get rid of the jerks! Thanks

I, too, pressed 1 to speak to a rep, to get removed after they have called me several times, and pressing #2 did not get me removed.  The guy was entirely condescending.  When I asked who he was, he replied, sarcastically, I am the lotto department and you have just won a million dollars. I hung up.
