Auto Dialer, recorded message said "It is urgent that we speak with you". I have received this call before and pressed the appropriate number for them to remove me from their list before. This time, I pressed ONE to speak with someone. I told her that I've asked that I be removed in the past, I want them to stop. She said "WE DO NOT HAVE A DO NOT CALL LIST" and hung up. I called back and it says that it is disconnected.

Recieved a recorded message about "last chance for lower rates on your loan", first of all I don't have a loan, but decided to press 1 talk to someone, when asked for my name, I responded with, "you called me", the person hung up.  When I called back to see who it was that called, I got the same message that another person got, phone number disconnected or no longer in service.  Who are these people????  And why don't they have a DO NOT CALL list, of which I am on???

Thank God for Caller ID. The Do-Not-Call list doesn't seem to mean shineola. This number calls, hangs up when answering machine starts. Note to whoever is behind this: IF IT ISN'T IMPORTANT ENOUGH FOR YOU TO LEAVE A MESSAGE, IT'S NOT WORTH MY TIME TO ANSWER YOU!

Had this call today. The guy was trying to get SS# as well as credit card number and balance and bank account number. I called the local police, gave them the number and they turned it over to their fraud department.

Same thing just happened to me.  Got a call from this number telling me that this was my LAST CHANCE to talk to someone about lowering the rate on my loan.  (What loan?)  I pressed 1 to speak to someone and when a woman answered I said and started to ask me to identify myself, I said "who is this?" --- at which point she hung up.  Like others, I tried calling the number back, but it was disconnected.  Hmmm.

I got a call from 904-399-1899, caller id said it was richard greenway.  I called back and got a non-working number recording.  I have gotten several calls from this number so I did a *60 and deleted the number from being able to call me

The call buzzed in while I was on the other line and it was PDM International  . . .  wanting to lower my cc interest rates  . . .  later I looked up the company and found them on ripoffreport.com !!!  There were 11 entries with warnings (those with good credit lines can't be helped and nothing further is done  . . .  charges ranged from $500 - $990 and mine was quoted at $1490 !!)  Needless to say, I immediately called the cc and had the number changed before the charge went through!!  This number is for outbound calls only  . . .  don't answer or try to get back to them !!

Received a call from this number - they didn't leave a voicemail. When I called back it said "you've reached a number that is no longer in service." Weird.

You cannot get off their list, I have been on it for months. I keep one of those little part air-horns close by. If you can't beat them, mess with them.

I received a call at 1:10 PM today from a similar service (?) that warned me not to be alarmed.  After choosing the 1 option, the young woman (not a lady) names Leah was taken aback when I asked for a manager/supervisor, telling me that there was none available.  When I noted that I was on the Do Not Call Registry and this call had violated those rules, she said "Oh no!" and further stating that "You're trying to make yourself sound smart but you're really stupid" and then hung up.

Does bothering to put myself on the registry really carry any legal weight or is the FTC a toothless tiger?

What good is a no call list... I still get these annoying calls. Then they hit my fax #!!! GRRR!

Same thing...I called my phone company and was told I can block them from calling me by using *60 and then following the prompts and enter their number.  I did this so hopefully no more phone calls.  She said the reason the phone number comes back as disconnected or no longer in service is because they telemarketing company have a block on incoming calls.  She also suggested the DO NOT CALL LIST, I told her I was already on that, this is when she suggest the *60, I don't know if this is a feature you would need to have added prior or if it is a one time charge per use.  I guess check with your phone company to see.

Just got a call too.  they said same thing, last time to take advantage of lower interest rates.  I asked what bank are you with and she replied we deal with 500+ cards visa, mastercard etc.?? Still didnt answer my question. I asked it again, she was talking to her cubemate telling her she had a headache? I said are you talking to someone else and she hung up on me!  This must be a scam, my caller ID says Richard Greenway.

I got a call but left no message.

I received a call form this number this afternoon. A recording starts with "Do not be alarmed, this is your last chance to get lower interest rates. Press 1 to continue and 2 to disconnect". I've received calls form these people before so I pressed 1 to at least find out who they were and to tell them to stop calling. When I was connected to a woman who answered she said "Bank Cards" I asked what bank cards and what bank, she got annoyed and yelled "Banks!!" I said "Im not an idiot, don't yell". She said I'm not an idiot either you dumb f***!" and hung up. I was shocked to say the least. I have never been called by a telemarketer and cursed at. I can only imaging that what ever company is behind this scam is not getting the response they want and their staff is beyond frustrated. Very odd.
