Believe me everyone, these are just hoax calls to go either collect money on you call back as they get paid or they just scare people. This is Canada and not bloody god forsaken afghanistan that anyone needs to worry about anything. Lawyers cannot initate anything on phone calls. Know your rights and it is is your right to know in writing why someone is calling you. Even if you owe money to any one, phone calls are not legal method of comm. Do not worry. Just keep writing here. I am waiting to get my hands on these clueless bas*****.

I got this same call saying that i had to or my lawyer call Josh Colman! regarding a debt and if they didnt hear from me in 24 hrs they would be taking me to court.they didnt leave me any information as to what i owe money for and they also say they have been trying to contact me. Can someone tell me if this is real or not! im scared to call back

Please be aware.... any legal actions must be handled through either mail or hand delivered.  This is a scam. Does anyone know who we contact when this occurs?  I haven't been able to find a contact number in order to report it.

They keep calling here too looking for a David O'Connor.  I've already called them 3 times.  One claims to have 'removed our number' I told him I didn't believe him.

they keep calling me threatening to get somebody sued . i told them they were called the wrong number they were rude and i said i didint theme to call back they said they would remove the number and i recieved no apology and was told and when i said i didnt appreciate all the calls they said well we didnt appreciate you calling us either and hung up.
I called back and said I would like to speak to josh colmans (i think that was the name) and they said no and and i said you should really treat people with a little more respect and they made fun of me and then hung up on me again.
I then called back looking for a manager. the guy proceded to ask my age and i should grow up and refused to get me and senior representative and hung up on me again.

Needless to say i feel very disrespected and did not appreciate the calls to a man name "giles edstal" on my phone and the threats that wore made to him exposing imformation umong threats about a guy ive never even heard of.

I received this call on my mobile phone  asking me to call  then  in 24 hrs or else I will there are will be consequences. I think if this is a collection agency, they should be writing you first. This call came from 780 328 3711.

They say it is something like this, that they are from so and so's office ( lawyers ) trying to collect a bad debt and if you don't contact us in 24hrs that the next process will or next step will commence without you doing anything about it to collect it, it doesn't tell you how much you owe , it's probably a collection agency I don't know ? Don't know

How do you get them to stop when the person they want doesn't live here.I have told them time and time again!
