Its a collection agency or a fake lawyers office

I received several calls from these guys..
When I called back to find out what these guys wanted,
I was told that I had an old credit card bill that I never paid.
When I looked into it, it turns out that they were right (oops!).  
I was able to settle my account for half the amount owing.

95-413-8753   keeps calling my number leave a strange reather odd voice recording message that really cann't understand who they want  stop calling unless you can talk properly

Received two calls from 905 413 8753 so far today. I let it go to voicemail and they left NO message.  |I waited ten minutes, completely blocked my own house line number and called the number that I'd seen on my call display.  At first she refused to identify the company I had reached and I have to say she was clever enough to think I'd respond if she asked the number I was calling from so she could " be of the best assistance".  Seriously?  I finally just said look, you're asking for my information....who ARE you?  

Her words: "Global and we're a collection agency.  If you want your number removed from our records we need your number; if you refuse to give you number you'll just receive more and more calls" - which is going to be difficult to spam me on purpose since she really doesn't have my number. And btw, Global if you're reading this you've just admitted to harassment which is now documented and ready for court if you don't leave the public alone.

I have no clue who is calling from this number, can anyone help me?

If you received a call from  905-413-8753, report it to the PEEL POLICE FRAUD Division..
Do NOT respond to them.  They are thieves, criminals and fraudsters!!!

Scams...  All people who receive a call from GLOBAL INTERNATIONAL, 1490 Denison St, Markham ON, should immediately report it to the FRAUD SQUAD..  just dial 911 and for the Fraud Department...
These low life scums should be put out of business...  If people fail to act, this scum will flourish...

"Global Credit" Apparently affiliated with Rogers Cable.. It's a scam.. every message is the same.. they say they are looking for "Mr Robitar"  We did call back with our reference #, they knew partially the name of the owner of the household but part of it was wrong.  Lady claimed..  "We are not a telemarketing company" but when googled info later, found out they try to scam people saying you owe them money, etc...  They call our house at least 3 times a day.. and says "Ontario" on the call display

I have started getting phone calls from this company. I finally answered the call twice and both times have been told they are looking for someone "in my household". When I demanded the name of the person they were looking for, I was given different names. They are either looking for a Mr. so and so or a Mrs. so and so, never a first name given. And what is this "non-compliance" garbage? Who makes up these little dialogues, a teenager?

this is a brand new phone number that I just activated.

i got similar calls form two different companies 2 hours apart...

i called this one back on the displayed number and the person who answered refused to disclose the nature of the call and attempted to extract personal info from me. She did say the name of the company was Global.

THEY HAVE BEEN CALLING ME FOR 1/2 A YEAR.  THEY LEAVE ME A MESSAGE SAYING ITS REGARDING A NON-COMPLIANCE ISSUE AND ITS URGENT THAT I GET A HOLD OF THEM IMMEDIATELY TO PREVENT COLLECTIONS.  STRANGE THING IS I KNOW ITS IMPOSSIBLE, AND ITS ALWAYS A RECORDING ALTHOUGH IT CHANGES FREQUENTLY.  SO I FIGURE ITS A SCAM AND I DON'T CALL. I FINALLY GETTING MAD TODAY AND DECIDE SCREW IT I'LL CALL THE NUMBER.  THEY SAY THEY'RE LOOKING FOR WANDA SPRAGUE, WHOEVER THE HELL THAT IS.  I TELL THEM THERE'S NO WANDA SPRAGUE ASSOCIATED WITH THIS PHONE NUMBER THEY SAY OH WELL THANKS GOODBYE.  I SAY TO TO THE GIRL ARE YOU KIDDING 6 MONTHS OF CALLS EVERY OTHER DAY AND THAT'S IT? I TELL HER, "PERHAPS YOU SHOULD HAVE PEOPLE CALLING INSTEAD OF MACHINES. SOUNDS LIKE AN AWFUL WASTE OF TIME, MONEY AND ENERGY IN WHAT COULD HAVE BEEN A 1 MINUTE CALL WITH A REAL PERSON.  THE MANAGER GETS MAD AT ME SCREAMS INTO THE PHONE IN THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL MANNER I HAVE EVER SEEN DEMONSTRATED AND HANGS UP ON ME AFTER ALL THAT TIME NOT EVEN A SORRY.  RIDICULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yea, this number has been calling me since 6 months now, and every now'n'then they change the machine tone and voice. It's really annoying, and im not sure if i should call the police or just never pick up. They give the same options as they gave to the rest of you, the same press 1 or the 1866 number or "non-compliance".

Call from this number is becoming a nuisance

I got the same sort of message on my Rogers cell phone yesterday. A recorded message spouting something about "non compliance". They left a 1-877 type number and said it was "essential" that I call them back. I may do it just out of curiosity to see what I can find out about them and who the calls originate from.

Just got a call from this number 1-905-413-8753, on my telus cell phone. They said to press 1 because I have not complied with a certain order. I did not press 1 and hung up.

I get this all the time too! they start phoning at 8am everyday, just get a dead tone, to wait for response

Call police immediately for the harassment

I get call almost everyday from this number.  It's to my pre-paid Telus cell phone.  The strange thing is that this is a brand new phone number that I just activated.  It's flooding my voice mail as well.  I wonder if this is some scam to waste away our air time...

I received a call from this number requesting a I call back 1-866-276-8088 and quote a 6 digit reference number.Something about having sent important documents in the mail. When I tried to call the 866 number, I was on hold for 30 minutes and eventually hungup. No idea who this is.

We live on Vancouver Island and they call us around once a week and have so for around 2 years.  When I told them to remove me from their calling list they hung up on me.

I already complained to CRTC, at least 3 months ago, and still nothing.

I get the calls at home and not on my cell phone, but I do believe they are hired to use up people's minutes on their plans.  What else would it be?  It is not a legitimate business.

These guys were calling me about an account that was real old.
You can't expect me to pay for something from 5 years ago!!!  
I tried talking to them but they didn't seem to get it.  
I googled their company name "Global Credit" and found their website.
I sent a request to stop bugging me.  A manager called me back a couple days
later and told me they were closing my account.

I get calls from these people and they never leave a message. They clearly harass people. They are listed as Global International LTD 1490 Denison St, Markham, ON L3R 9T7 (905) 479-3334 ? on Yellow pages but elsewhere as Global International Inc. Word of advise, record your conversation with them and advise them no to call you; make sure you log the call info (time and date). If they persist you can tell them to proceed with court action if you refuse what they claim. At that point any further call is considered harassment and would have criminal charges as well as civil punitive damages. Do not forget to report it to CRTC as well at http://www.crtc.gc.ca/eng/telemarketing.htm.

You should also note that the company they are representing are considering their employer and they act as an agent, if you make a statement in writing advising them not to contact you and that you will hold anyone associated with the issue including employers, agents, directors, associates responsible would certainly hold in court. Make sure any correspondence is cc'd with the CRTC, privacy commissioner, the police, the attorney general's office and the company they represent as well as equifax and Transunion credit reporting agencies.

got a call at work will not answer call i do not know.

garbled message-- couldn't understand coz of reception from their end. I couldn't make out heads or tails what they were saying... I think  I heard police mentioned... doesn't make sense.

I just got a call from these jerks on both my Land line AND seconds after I didn't answer it, my CELL PHONE! I do NOT hand out my cell phone number and NO one has ever called me from a collections agency on my cell before! (I've had this number for about 8 years now!!!) I stupidly answered my cell, but I quickly hung up as soon as I heard the recording. Something about me "Not complying with an Agreement Notice" or something retarded. Now, I must admit that I do have an outstanding debt AND it is already being paid off via an AGREEMENT with the actual BANK INVOLVED! To my understanding, this company is called, "D & A" something or other. I think I will be making a call to my Lawyer's office first thing in the morning. Some how they have "found" my cell number and the ONLY way to accomplish this is by Breaking the Privacy Act.

I have been receiving multiple calls a day from this company.  It is a recorded message asking for a name that sounds like Marg or Aim Jones.  They say it is not a solicitation call and the are calling regarding an important business.  They then leave a 6 digit reference number and to press any key to speak to an agent.  The company never identifies themselves.  

I have been getting these calls daily for over 2 weeks (about August 20th) and finally got fed up.  I have filed a complaint with the CRTC as an unwanted and harassing call.

I came home from work today and there were 2 messages on my machine (the identical ones as before) so I called back the number. It was picked up by a machine (saying that all their agents were busy) and I left a nasty message advising that I had reported them to the CRTC and reminded them that the CRTC has started to fine companies.
