Last nights caller from this number said they had a package to be delivered.  Then hung up.  PITA.  What happened to the do-not-call registry?

A guy named Jason( I dont think it is his real name,) called at 9.00pm  from 905-436-4489 and asked for the owner of the home.When asked for the name of the company,said some duct cleaning services.When I informed that this is an unlisted call and that I have previously complained to the BBB, he started talking in some other language( sounded an Asian) and there were a lot of noise in the background.When called back,a message goes saying this number is not accepting any messages. We get about 10 calls from different duct cleaning companies and this is a real nuisance. Even authorities are deaf  and complaining is like playing to a deaf galary.

I answer my phone. Someone in a very thick accent asks if Mr. or Mrs. (my last name) would like their air ducts cleaned (even though I'm on the so-called do not call list). I ask who it is. They pause (it's very loud in the background) and they say, "Fresh Air Duct Cleaning." (it's an actual business). I tell him they've called me before, I've asked that they take my name off before, and they keep calling. So I say, "Take my name OFF your list and by the way, I'm reporting you for calling yet again." HE says, "I'm not taking your name off the list." I said, "Yes you are," to which he replied in the most snotty tone, "No I'm not. Report us. GO AHEAD and report us. GO." Well, you can imagine the filth that came out of my mouth before I hung up seconds later. The swearing synonym for sphincter came up a few times. Why are these places allowed to go on? THERE IS NOT A HUMAN ALIVE THAT I KNOW THAT WANTS THEM TO CALL. They should be outlawed, period.

Had a call from this number.  Rude and abusive staff told me to go F**K myself when I asked for the name of the company Then read my address to me and told me he'd send someone to the to the house to F**k me tomorrow.  I called the police and filed a report. Not sure if it will get me anywhere.

Folks, based on my experience so far, you should know that:
- this telemarketing group represents a duct cleaning company that masquerades as another legit company in GTA
- they use many different telephone numbers, all VOIPs. So it is virtually impossible to trace or block them
- they are abusive of course, ostensibly for even refusing unsolicited service! but they go one step further. They have used racist epithets and hate speech.
- there has been many many police complaints registered in this region over the past month and the regional police are contemplating handing this hate crime case over to RCMP because of possible international parties involved.
- the telemarketer identified himself as Altaf Hussein from Pakistan

Although we get calls from many telemarketers for different reasons, it is very unusual that they are so openly and obviously verbally abusive even for a simple refusal of service. They may not like being refused, but they know very well that the client's reputation will be destroyed if they are unprofessional.

Therefore, it is being postulated (even by a police officer) that this may be a larger design to discredit the outsourced telemarketing community, mainly based in India. Certainly plausible. These guys may not be really interested in our business, and may be after ruining the reputations of legit telemarketing companies.

They call me too after 9:00PM and told them that we don't have ducts in this house.He was shock and hung up with no saying thank you or sorry...
We are using this excuse we don't have windows or doors in this house for windows&doors marketers and it look like they get it and stop calling.

Be careful if you are a female, he will ask to speak to your husband, then tell him you make the decisions in the house.  Then he says he wants to kill you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They called me last night saying they were from Fresh Air Duct Cleaning, and could provide good service with currently discounted price.

Then they booked an appt to come today for "Cleaning", and I will just tell them "go back" if they come or otherwise I will call the police for fraud criminal.

Just called the number back and got it is not in service and the owner of this mail box is not accepting messages at this time, good bye.

8:30 pm thanksgiving. jusy got a call and no answer so hung up.  Got a call earlier this week about ducts but don't know what number.  I said no and hung up.  If I get a call back I will just tell them where to go.  Guess that no call list doesn't work as I seem to be getting a whole lot os these calls.

We also received a call from that number at 9:17 pm, who is that?

They are calling me every couple of days for this duct cleaning crap, how do you get them to stop?

Some Indian/Pakistani accent male asking about duct cleaning.  Kind of snappy voice and repeatedly wanted clarification.  I just told him to F**K Off and stop the repeated calls.

A man called at 8:22pm the first time no voice return, they called right back and asked for Sean and "How are you today?". Sean replied "I'm having the best day ever!" He said "what is that?", lots of background noise as if he was in a public place. He asked if Sean needed my air ducts cleaned because they are having a promotion in that area, Sean had asked why has Sean been called 3 times about the air ducts this week? His reply was "what?, do you want your air ducts cleaned or what? in a snappy manner" Sean asked "Is that how you ask for business?" he said "what a f*#king @ssH*le!" then hung up!

Called just after 8pm - left no message - put on call denial - one of so many jerks.

THEY call me from 905 436 4489 but never leave a message.  Their number can not be traced.
