Terrible phone connection, and the loudest call centre I've ever heard in the background. Could barely hear the telemarketer, actually. Called me four times in ten minutes! Crazy harassing.

this guy called me four times during the day. Then in the evening around 9pm he called three times in a row. The first time he called and asked for some other name then started mumbling about something. tried to be polite but he did not get the hint had to tell him to F off and hang up. He called back again anyways.

I get several calls from 905-581-0216 on my personal cell phone (AT&T). No one talks on the other end. I tried calling the number back and it prompts for an account number. I keyed in a dummy number, it goes on and says the account number is invalid , tells me to call customer service and hangs up on me.

It looks like a SCAM, illegit operation......

This number has called me a few times over the past month.  Must be the same person, noisy call centre, and indian accent.  I didnt catch his name.  Identified themselves as calling from VOXCOM security.  I said if you were calling me from VOXCOM you would know that i had an alarm, and that you would also know that VOXCOM no longer exists as VOXCOM, they were bought or merged with another company to form a new name.  The man proceed to tell me that his alarm company was better, and after about 5 minuets of arguing with him.. I must have said 20 times, that if you call me again, I will call the police.  Finally hung up.  I wouldht have even entertained this last call, but I had googled the phone # before and found this site.. I was bored.. and felt like a confrontation.   Please beware.. and do not give any information out.  VOXCOM does not exist as a company, therefore, there must be other motives behind this phone call.

Had a a call from (905) 581-0119 that was very noisy in the back ground and a lot of static. I believe the caller identified themselves as a home security company. The male caller had what sounded to me as East Indian accent. I tried to be polite let them know that I was not interested. And to please put me on their "do not call" list. They hung up on me before I could even finish speaking. Obviously they do not operate in a legit call center. I was so irritated I tried to call the number back but it was only for outbound calls. So if they have ticked you off too you might want to visit these sites if you want to do something about it.

This guys had called my house more than once (which I think is very odd). "Indian" accent- however I doubt its real. He was pushy asking for the home owners. I asked where he was calling from..and he said "an alarm company", asking if we had an alarm. I replied yes and hung up on him. If he calls again, I'm calling the cops.

I just got a call on my business cell phone from this number. Same as the others, it was a really noisy background, tried to sell me an alarm. I cut him off right away, said I didn't have a need for one. Then the guy said, "I want to meet you ma'am, I want to meet you." So gross. Of course I hung up at that point.

got a call, asking stupid questions...

Man named Joe called from some security system wanted to know what type of security system I have on house. Refused to give information. Fake "call centre" recording in background. Called back phone number, same person answered and heard the same "fake recording" told him to remove my name and phone #. Called the # back in the night, message heard: "You have reached, allstream the number you are calling is not available at this time, please try your call later"

DO NOT DISCLOSE ANY INFORMATION TO THIS PERSON/COMPANY IT IS A SCAM!!!!

got a call from a guy offering security system for my house. When I asked how he got this number he hung up immediately.

received a call at dinner time on Sept 26th from Jeff - stating he's with alarm company wnated to bring equipment for test. I told him not to call again. We're on the DO NOT SOLICIT LIST. shouldn't be getting these calls. and ALWAYS AT DINNER TIME. maybe there's more to this call!!!!!

this number called my house and asked for my mother. my sister answered and said she could not come to the phone. they asked my sister if she was my mothers daughter. my sister started freaking out and said 1 minute she told me what was going on and i told her to go along with it. she said yes then asked if we had an alarm system. she said i dont know then they said ok nevermind, or something along those lines. i was not on the line at the time of the call so i cant describe background noise or the caller's voice. but i can say it was suspicious. Espicially after seeing everyone elses comments.

Thanks for the information everyone...I heard a noisy call centre about three seconds into the call and hung up; then I looked up the number online and I'm glad I did! If they don't say anything right away you can be 99 per cent sure you're getting a call from a call centre. So sorry to hear about pooh bare's incident. That is scary!

just got a call from this CREEP who insisted on coming to my house and bringing his "equipment" and said that other "women" wanted him in their houses too. He tried to sell me a "voxcom" alarm system and then went on to say that he was a model and was coming to my town and would be coming to my house for "tea" so we can "talk".
He was very pushy and wanted one of "his guys" to come over tomorrow.
I asked him for his ID # and return phone # and he asked if I would call him.
CREEP!!!! He would not give out the # he was calling from but on my call display it showed 1-905-581-0119.
Beware, this guy is a CREEP!!! He said his name was Jack and it was a very noisy "call center in the background. I told him that his phone was crackly too, very bad connection.

they said they were a security company--tried to see me house and fire security. don't know if that was a cover in case they wanted to case our place.
