i do not answer any callers that do not identify themselves . push the mute button and ignore . if they want your business , they should at least let you know who is calling .

The person is getting on my nerves.

Ok seriously !!!  Forth one in two day's.....Don't know who it is they dont say anything when i answer only a recored good bye.Anymore call's from this number and i might snap....

I am in the same boat ! We just got the home phone line put in ! (And we're already getting calls like this ??) Annoying !!

A woman called me asking for someone else. When I explained to her who I was, she went on to tell me that "they" were a magazine company and they would give me magazines for "only $3.00/ month." She sounded Indian, and it never dawned on me that this was a telemarketer. I didn't give out a credit card number, thank God. I'm hoping these calls stop. They're annoying.

1 call from them but at least 50 from 877-866-8880 , I have call display so i never answer, Rogers should be able to block these calls.

Getting on my nerves. No one is there, just a beep and maybe one word I can't understand.

Got a call from this number again today and I am in Florida.

Paul have bell put call blocking on your phone that is if your with bell. i don't know if anyone else has that service.

This number called again today & after saying 'hello' 3 times a woman answered.  It was obviously a marketing call, not someone we know because they asked for hubby by his full name & didn't even pronounce it correctly.

I informed the woman on the other end to "remove" this number & never call again.  I'll keep a note of the number & if they do call again, I'll inform phone company.

Ill definately be calling them, they keep calling me too and ive only had my new phone number for a couple months!!

Just to follow up for all.   It appears to have worked I no longer receive calls from these people

My thanks to loki.  Loki gave us the company name and phone number previously in this list.  Unfortuantely I called  1-877-702-7779 and tried option #3 for an operator...got a recording to leave a message.
I called again and tried for the billing dept.  it rang forever.....I
Next I called and chose option #2 - new subscription.....I got an operator.   I adivsed that person to remove my name from their list or I would file a report for harrassment if they continued to call. After  they they  advised me that they have removed my name from their federal calling list.  (they say they were removing it)  I certainly hope they did.  I will come back in a few days to advise if I received any more calls or if this truly worked with them

I recieved 6 calls in one day! I have NO idea who they are but....................... I blocked the caller! I get NO MORE CALLS!  ttfn and good luck

Got a call from this number  905-595-8638:.... around 2:15pm, they just left a message saying hello...b*****d caller, to hell with this caller, he/she must have nothing to do in his/her  crazy life.

just received phone call and checked my machine...did not recognize phone number but decided to check it out on line (I have a relative in 905 area)....thank you all for reporting that these are calls from a telemarketer...don't you wish all these types of calls would stop.

These b*****ds call constantly 2 to 4 times a day.  Can someone in Toronto please nuke them asap.

i am really tired of getting calls from this number, they even left a message and a automated voice said "good-bye" i wish i knew how to make it stop!!!!

I am with Bell Canada.  We pay for the extra "Smart Touch Services," one of which is Call Screen.  This phone number has been calling my house repeatedly all day!  I finally just blocked it.  These Smart Touch Services are sometimes well worth the extra money I pay every month.  It would be even nicer, however, if such harrassing methods were forbidden by legislation.

905-595-8638 called me for several days with noone on the line and then a msg that said "goodbbye" but today I finally had someone on the line from that number. Trying to send you 12magazines for free then cancel anytime...you know the scam. Anyways, she was calling from (more likely for) Central Circulation.

This is the 3rd call, evrery hour, today. the number shows as 905-595-8638 72. of course I stopped answering.

Whoever this is they need to be fined for harassment and thrown in jail. This is ridiculous!!! I want to go to their house and wake them up twice a day with a new baby!! F*** this..I'm calling the police!!

I get calls from this number -- then just silence on the other end until a female voice says "good-bye."  Very, very frustrating.
