It looks like an official check that you can cash allright. Let us know what happens when you cash or deposi it. I will post in a couple days once it bounces.

I also received an official check for $3800.00 of which I won a total of $38.000. I hope it is not a scam.

I just picked up my mail, and I, too, had a letter and an official looking check in the amount of $3,800 as part of the winnings of my share of $38,000 The stamp was also Canadian and now I am trying to locate this company. I am so thankful that I found this website and that I am not the only one being scammed. Glad I found out it is a hoax before I tried to cash the check because my husband and I are in desperate need of the finances.

I received a letter with an official looking check for $3,800. Claimed I had won $38,000 in "Shoppers Lotto" and that I should deposit the check to pay the taxes on my prize. Obviously a scam, as the letter was supposedly sent from J. J. Financial Services in Buffalo, NY, but the stamp was Canadian. They have called me multiple times, as well.
