I get calls from this number , which i have never answered as i live a few provinces away from this area code...

every few days I get a recorded message with about 20 second delay before starting, which states they have important information for me about my credit card. At that point I hang up.... I don't take recorded messages.

There is no mystery how they get your number and name, since they are readily available on the internet, even the unlisted numbers. The problem is how can we, the  irritated phone company clients, report this to an effective agency to get these scam artists blocked. Or hung drawn and quartered. ??

The do not call list exists for a reason.... slobtards.... Here's hoping you suffer the penalties you deserve for annoying the general public... unlawfully !

Was called just now ... as I live 1300 km from the 905 Area Code I didn't answer. Just had a feeling about it. Checking here I see it has a past. Glad I trusted my intuition. Wish I could be left alone.

Repeated call for a week. I have a new cell phone number for less than a month and have not circulated this number - wondering where telemarketing get your number? My phone company is Bell!

Called my cell and I hung up during the automated message. The message was about credit cards but I'm sure it was a scam.

Cell numbers are no longer private.  You have to add your number to the Do Not Call registry as of Feb 2013.  Then report them if they continue to call.

Someone called from this number twice in a row, but no message.  I was wondering who it was, now I know! lol

just got the same call that you all described above too.  As well, it called my cell number, and when I don't recognize the number i let it go to voice mail.  the message was mostly cut off but some of it was there.

i had a phone call,stating it wanted soemthing about credit card, i didnt answer whoever was onthe phone, but they hung up, and now my phone is off service

They are called Credit Services, I just asked them how they got my private cell number and they said it was an automated call, I said I was on the do not call list.....we'll see what happens....the woman had a distinct American Accent - not sure if the calls originate from Canada and now I may have created big problems by verbally giving my phone number, she didn't sound like she was writing it down.

Just got a call from this # on my personal cell phone. and i don't give out my # to anybody i don't trust. i did'nt answer it but they called back 2-3 times. annoying a***oles.

Asking me if I would like 0% interest on my credit card? I said sure.
Then a guy came on and told me he worked with Visa and Mastercard!
He then asked if I pay off my cards monthly and i said yes I do, usually.
Then he asked how much I had on my card? I said $500.
He then said that I wouldn't qualify, i had to owe $3000 or more.
When I asked for more info, like his phone number, he hung up on me?

I got a call from this number on my private cell which I don't give out to businesses or fill out on paperwork. I didn't answer but I was glad to find out information about who it was here. I'm not too clear on how they got my number but I'm not very happy a business is call me on my personal line (as oppsoed to a land line).

got the same call just now.  a robo call, female with english accent.  I just hung up....f@#$ing a***oles

Some recording about lower credit rates. It did give the option to be removed from their calling list, but it might've been a trick to do the exact opposite, so I immediately hung up. We'll see...
