Canada? I answered & they hung up.  All my bills are paid on time every time so it's not for any debt collection. Getting sick of these types of calls though.

Received the call Nov 28th.  They left no message, and my cell has unlimited calling for US area codes only, so i didn't call back. It's Canada.  Anyway - glad I checked this blog.  Two days before - for the first time ever, I received a series of scam texts (20 of them) directing me to a website which purported to be Chase.  Was NOT legitimate, so I blocked the number. Received this 905 call the next day after I blocked the first number, which was 425-906-4698. These guys are quite persistent.

Wanted my credit card number.  Not sure why they have not been shut down yet.  Congress just past a law to shut down sites violating copyright laws and increased jail time to 10 years and 2 mil. yet they do nothing for crimes that attack the consumer.  This country is f*kd..

got a call to re-activate a card by a robotic voice

Just received a call from this number saying it was about my card with a bank we don't bank with saying my card has been deactivated.  First red flag.  I decided to see what happened when the message said I could be transferred to security, feeling fairly certain this was a scam.  It said to reactivate my card, enter the account number.  That's when I was completely certain it was a scam.  Remember to NEVER give your account number unless you initiate it!

Got one this evening.  I didn't answer because I didn't recognize the number.  There was no message.  Then got home and found this site...very mysterious.

Shows this # as a fax of this company in Canada. Odd.

I got one too, on my cell, not sure why, don't really know anyone from Canada.
