They are a collections agency. Just ignore them. It doesn't bother me in the least. Lol. They can call all they want. The best part if you ignore them for 6 years, the debt just goes away.
PS. You should post their number in every classified ad online and fill out every ballot for every contest (which is really a way to get your info for other telemarketers) at supermarkets and elsewhere. Hell, post their number in sex ads. Let them enjoy their number ringing all the time. hahahaha

I called the number and got through to global. Told them I had got calls from their number. The said they would remove that number from thier system (which could take 24 hours) and then I should not get anymore calls. I have had my number for 7 months and they said it was probably an old recycled number. We shall see but seemed easy enough.........

For months I have been recieving these calls. The recorded voice says to press any button to talk to them, many times I can not get through so I have to call back and pay for the call. The recorded messages are abrasive and intrusive. When I speak to one of their representatives I tell them I am not the person they are looking for and I do not know this person. I also tell them this is an unlisted number and I want my number removed from their list. Until I googled their phone number I had no idea who they were because when I asked them who they were they would not tell me.

I was at school, and I get a call from this number... I obviously hung up, and few minutes later, this number calls me again. I hung up, and it repeated itself.
So I went to washroom, called back, and was told to wait in line. When an agent picked up, he simply went "Can I talk to John?" and I was like "Who's that, and you called me". The reply? that guy just hung up.
I called back, and now they don't even pick up, saying "the agents are busy"... hello? this thing's costing ME long-d fees... it cost me at least 5 dollars
I didn't bother calling again, but this stupid company called me at least 10 times more... I was in class trying to listen to my teacher, but I was so irritated by this calling... If they call me again tomorrow, I will seriously fill out a complaint. I hope I can sue them for calling wrong number for over 10 times!

I'm an international student and obviously have no debts, except for my phone bill thats due.
I don't know why they are calling me and how they got my #.

I'm getting calls 20 + times a day.
i try to contact them by staying on the line.
They never answer their phone and if they do they hang up on you.

They are a collection company for Rogers clients. They are a pain in the a** and I just don't answer them. I owe Roger's $100 on my last for phone and they charged me another $200 for cancelling the contract which was month to month.

These guys are ridiculous they have been calling me at least 3 times a day and very early in the morning, around 8 o'clock. I rang them back and told them to stop ringing me but we'll see if that actually happens, apparently they are looking for the previous owner of my phone number.

12 calls today alone. usually about 25-30 minutes apart
after pressing 1, there is another message "please hold we will connect you"
waited 10 minutes no response hung up.
will be going to the head offices next week to clear this up in person.

A message starts and they ask me to push a button about the matter...but I don't push the button because they are acting lame...and I am not using rogers as my phone provider...government should make this illegal and levy fines for these type of calls and there will be no need for taxes then.

Ok so I am in the same boat as everyone else, this number calls me sometimes up to 10 times a day and leaves the same message over and over again. But they say the need to talk to Shelving "something", not sure what they are saying as it is a recording of some kind. I finally decided to press any number to talk to a rep to tell them they have the WRONG number, then of course they leave me on hold then hang up on me?? Is this some scam thing?? I am fed up with the calls and the messages, and not being able to actually tell them this is the wrong number. Heard that it is Rogers, anyone have any luck getting through another way and telling them to quit calling them? any help would be greatly appreciated!

I've been getting calls from this number to my cell, multiple times a day. Today I finally called the number back, and got "Global" (but a live speaker). Told him that I'd been getting multiple calls from that number for someone who doesn't own it (I don't know who had it before it became mine), and asked them to remove my number. I was polite, but firm. I have no idea if anything will happen, but we'll see...

To stop receiving phone calls you have to mail in a letter ( registered mail) to tell them to stop calling you at the home number. Every month you must do this. If they call you at work, it takes one time only for you to tell them to stop calling you at work. You can make a complaint if they should call you again. Legally, they can call you 3x a day. Can't call on Stat Holidays. Every province has a time they start from and finish at. They can't impersonate anyone, they can't speak to anyone but the debtor, they must identify themselves and where they're calling from.
I used to work at NCO Financial doing collections for Telus Mobility and Rogers. In all reality guys, there is a cancellation policy regardless of whether you like it or not..its a contractual agreement and its unfortunate that no sales people tell you about that part of the contract. I don't work there anymore obviously because I found it to aggressive. I was one of the nice people that would actually work with you rather than fight with you...Read up on your collection laws in your province and find out what your rights are. (And maybe review the contract you signed as well) The CSR should do a financial statement with you to see what you can work out. Their first demand is always payment in full but did you know you can ask for a settlement amount? that would have to be paid in full. Did you know that if you send them $20.00 a month and make your postdated payments via your bank and provide them with the reference numbers, they'll stop calling. They can't refuse a payment so don't screw up and miss one lol

i have been getting the exact same calls for a LORI. I called twice and they actually laughed on the phone because i stated i want to have my number taken off immediately...i told her she was being rude and she accused me of the same thing...completely unprofessional..disgusted with this company...if they can even call themselves a "company"

It is a collection agency. They called my house b/c of the person who had the number before me. Bell called the house multiple times before asking for this person. Bell must have sold the account to Global Credit.

i don't think that it's Rogers. i subscribe to digital phone service from Shaw and I'm getting at least ten calls a day. yesterday i went out for three hours and came back to 12 calls! i think that i picked up the phone once or twice but didn't push any numbers and they are still calling.

Started to get calls from them today. Answered them and they said I owe $300 to rogers. I told them i am up today with my bills. They told me to call rogers which i did and Rogers verified that i am up-to-date with all my payments and that I have never had a late payment with them.
The people from the agency even verified my date of birth and address and said it was me they were looking for.
They just keep calling my cell, very annoying.
