My Name is Lindsay  I worked for PCA Security when there were in the Marquette MI 49855 On Washington St, I would say 4 or 5 Years ago, the business was a great work place for me Yet turned out bad. During the end of the Year the Owner Andrew had went to prison for Fraud! The owe me money and had also wrote me a bad check which is  still sitting in Bank Account ; It had bounced and I feel I should have had to pay for PCA righting me a bad check.  It is 260$ and has been sent to collection, Now My bank is un-happy with me . Not Only were they selling fake security systems but also are open in Escanaba. I called that office and spoke with the Manager Ron who I know because he has worked in Marquette. He told me that He will not give me my money but he will let me come work for them.  I am Upset because it?s causing me nothing but problems I don?t feel I need to pay my bank for money Owed.

I worked there for a couple months of last year. Don't let tom or any of the liars above talk to you. They will scam you at every opportunity, lie to you about installation costs, lie to you about the lease. Don't listen to these incompetant jack***es. The company is ran by a legitimate crack head. A crack head! He smoked everyones pay checks and everyone quit on him last week the beginning of Feb. Don't let these liars and thieves take your money.

Actually get it right, if a secertary does not OWN the company, then they have no right to ask to be taken off.I LOVE PCA, I worked there for a while and hopefully will be going back. It was the best job! I have had secertaries that said their boss was not interested....guess what?! They WERE!

Pca security is not running their website as of 9-25-09. It looks like Andrew Frank Robinson, the owner/jerk that was an anal jerk to work for and treated customers and/or prospective customers poorley has had a bit of a shake up in his own personal life. Google his name and you can read about his bizarre life in Oregon. He had to move out of his $2,000./month houseboat. He ripped off so many people, it's a huge list. I sure hope someone is keeping tabs on how many people across this country got ripped off. He'll lay low for awhile, but he'll be back, I'm sure. He had an operation out on the east coast ripping off people with his security alarm systems by using telemarketers. Those offices closed, he moved his operation to Houghton Michigan. Then he had over 1/2 dozen offices in Michigan's UP and northern Wisconsin doing the same thing (the majority of which are closed now) Before those offices closed, he moved the corporate office to Vancouver Washington. He then was beginning his operation of telemarketing on the west coast (near Portland), but I think he's taking some time off to deal with his personal legal issues. Most recently, he screwed employees out of their wages due them for the work they did as his minions. They lost their jobs and they also didn't get paid. He has connections to the office in Mass City, Michigan (27072 Simar Wasas Rd, Mass City, MI  49948) His family reaps the benefits from his scam. They know it's a scam too! Flat out, he's a loser, they all are. The upper management he had working for him, they also are jerks/losers. There are better ways to make a living, and working for Andrew Frank Robinson isn't a good way. Stay away!
When people need a job to support themselves, and or their family and as times are, it's hard to find a job. He mistreated his employees.
If you were to agree to an appointment and his rep went out to show you, and you did like it and signed paperwork and gave them the deposit, if you cancel...Bingo, you will never get your money back. The bottom line is, I own a business as well.  It's a restaurant.  It's a SMALL restaurant with the waitress having to take phone orders and wait on tables as well as cash customers out.  I, as the owner, am the chief cook and bottle washer.  I have no time and my waitress has no time to answer the phone and be polite.  We have customers waiting for us, unfortunately, we don't get to sit on our butts and let our computer auto dial our customers to nag them to buy a sandwich!  If you are treated with disrespect, maybe you should consider the time you are wasting of the person you are bothering who never asked to be bothered, not to mention your OWN time as obviously no one is ever going to purchase from you after you treat them like this!

PCA is a big scam. People who run their company are all unprofessional and they scam everyone they can. I had a check from them and it got bounced. When I called in to ask for another check, he asked me if I work here still, and I said no. He then said we are going to pay the people who work there and hung up.

The people calling you don't get cheap thrilss out of it they are just trying to get a paycheck. Well as I said we are giving these systems away. It is a system that normally sells for just under 1500 dollars. The basic camera system comes with.....yada yada yada.

You are silly just because you are not interested in a security system does not mean that others are not so why should the not answer there phone ? We have thousands of happy customers who benifit from our services. However unfortunatly some people are always going to complain and as much as I would like to make those people happy some people just cant be pleased

The very first thing our telemarketers do when calling is Identfy them self by first name and that the are calling from PCA security how much more upfront can you be

I assure you our marketing approach is very effective if it was not we would be out of business inside of a year like the majoity of alarm companies. PCA not only does well with our marketing we prosper in this otherwise poor economy.The number 1 reason is that we have a solid work ethic and take the service of or clients seriously. Having satisfied customers is our goal.

its a script. theres no promotion. no one is moving into your area , theres no organization , co. checks keep bouncing , employees cant even get a pay stub. what a joke. they pay less then minimum and rake in the rest for themselves. The owner just gets fatter as each system sells , sitting on his A#$ collecting........

I think from reading all the responses that the issue has been lost.  It has become mud slinging from those on the calling and receiving end.  I just want to say that even though it is a job and you are trying to support a family, that does not give you the right to keep us from doing our job on the receiving end of your calls.  Most of these calls come in asking to talk to the owner of the company - how many times is a call transferred directly to the President of the USA without background information.  When we ask this of you, we are getting attitude and rude comments as well.  This justifies the same rude response.  I just had a call from Matt Peterson with PCA Security and yes, he answered 3 questions and grew impatient, but his answers were so vague they prompted additional questions.  It is my job to make sure soliciting calls do not go direct to the Owner of the company unless that person is expected to call.

THEY ARE VERY PESTY PEOPLE WHO WILL NOT TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER.  THEY REFUSE TO STOP CALLING AND ASKING FOR THE OWNER.  I HAVE HER PERMISSION TO SCREEN HER CALLS AND STOP THESE TYPES OF CALLS.

i'm a telemarketer by choice right now because of the hours yet i hold abusiness degree and 2 certs from tech schools not every caller is dumb

You are right.  I wish that people would realize that many of the callers are very hard workers.  I have read some very degrading remarks about telemarketers.  Yes, I hate to be called on a Saturday morning or during a quiet evening, but I also realize that saying no thank you can go a lot further in getting what you want.  I have taken some very very vulgar, threatening, and disgusting calls.  A simple please remove me, would work a lot better.

PCA is decentralized. It's "owner," and we can use that phrase loosely, is man named Andrew Frank Robinson. He lives in Vancover, Washington near the Oregon border. His mother and step-father co-own PCA. They live in a small town in Michigan's Upper Penninsula called Mass City. They have homepage, not surprisingly named PCASecurity dot com. This jerk was very rude with my agent today when told I (the owner) was unavailable and argued with her for several minutes when she repeated asked him to stop calling our office..the **ithead musta been at lunch when a female called about an hour later....I wonder if these people are being paid by the new Obama administration as they have absolutely NO sales skills or Manners to say the least...they need to find another way to pay their bills...work in a strip club or something

Can anyone tell me where the physical address to this company is? They called my business and a free system. My business is a home based business and I was in deployed to Iraq when my wife talked to them. They came out and charged her $270 for the free system and then told her that they would hold the check for two weeks so she could talk to me about it. They cashed the check the next day and never installed the system. When my wife called them she was hung up on. Now I am home and trying to get my money back. I NEED THIS ADDRESS PLEASE. I am going to get in touch with the better business bureau and attorney general.
