This person is part of a check scam.  most likely from another country.  They send you a check for a deposit for a service and by mistake make the so call certified check for hundreds of dollars extra.

Just received an e-mail from this guy for my Ad on Craigs List. I'm glad I did a little research before I sent him my info. Thanks Everyone for the postings!!

I also recieved a call from this number and emails from this email address lizzy.jacob15@gmail.com wanting to buy my stuff in response to a Craigslist ad.  This person went as far as sending me a fake check for $3200.00

Thanks to all who have posted this, I had a bad feeling about this email.  I posted a wedding dress on Craigslist and received the exact same email, bad grammar and all -signed by Jimmy.

Got an email in response to an item I posted on Craigslist.
He says his name is Jimmy. I didn't call or send an email back.
Make sure you research numbers first before calling.
If someone asks for too much information from you it's a scam.

Ha! I got the exact same email, except the guy deals in wedding dresses!!

I assume you've posted an ad for something you're selling and that's all the info the scammer has so I don't expect him to be able to do anything else beyond selling your email address to other scammers.

I got the same message as above. It was on my personal school email. Should I be concerned with the scammer doing anything regarding the information that they have?

Yep, I got an a message on my ksl listing saying the Jimmy is interested in purchasing my product. Didn't recongnize the area code, plus I will only sell locally, I think it is a scammer!! I would watch out!

He e-mailed in response to a KSL ad as Jimmy.  I just wanted to check him out.  Thanks for your posts.

Got an email this morning regarding my wedding dress from Daniels Smith (on the first email). On the second email he requested all of my information to send the money order and this time it was signed, Smith D.

Looks like a scammer to me!!

909-237-4451  This is a fraud.  They pose as a buyer of an items posted on KSL.  Promise to send a money order.  It never comes.  I gave my business address, thankfully.  But he has also called me. late into the night and morning.

WATCH OUT!!!

I too have items up on KSL and got the exact email posted above!! This isn't the first ones I have gotten in the last 2 days that my ads have been up. People are ridiculous!!!

I just received an email from him.  He is using the name Stephen.  I still can't get over that there are people out there that would give the information requested in the email.  I have copied the email he just sent to me:

Same thing here.  KSL.com.  Stephen Todaro was the name.  
todarostephen@aol.com is the email that he used to contact me.  The phone number was given for me to call to return his email.  I did not of course.

I also got a person interested in my item (on KSL) and he has this number too. But his name is Jimmy instead of Stephen. So he's a scammer? It feels like one.

I got an e-mail from a Stephen and he claimed he wanted to buy an item I have for sell on KSL a local buy/sell website. He wanted my full name, zip code, phone# and address. I am tired of scammers!!!! I called that phone # and no one answers but I let a messege which I am sure will not be returned.
