I have gotten 2 calls from the same number 912-227-5663 this week but they keep hanging up when I answer the phone.

Get a whistle, it costs a few bucks at a sporting goods store, cheap great investment. When you get one of these crooks on the line BLAST AWAY.

Got a call from 1-912-227-5663. Told the girl on the phone I wasn't interested and she told me "F***" you!
You can't call them back. So what is a person to do when you get telemarketing calls and then they cuss you out?

The ads contains their office phone numbers, too. They claim to have never heard of the company.

They called my home at least twice a week.  I have asked six times to be removed from the calling list.  Suggest reporting them to Better Business Bureau and the Do Not Call Registry.

They're trying to sell you a solar water heater for about $12,000. That's why they wanted to know your credit score. And XL533 is the confirmation number they give EVERYONE. It's all a bunch of crap trying to sound legit, when in fact, they're sending salesmen to your home under false pretenses.

My sister recently quit her job about a week or so ago because, lo and behold, she was doing calls for Electric Power Association! She even gave me a copy of the script, and their rebuttal sheet, which for some reason says "SPICY TWO PIECE" on the top. They changed their office number four times this week. Now it's 407-268-6557. DON'T LET THEM GET AWAY WITH THIS HARASSMENT! They've already been sued by the state of Florida.

It's 1:25, and so far, the person who was supposed to be here at 1:00 is a no-show.  No call, either, and they obviously have my number.

Hello everyone. I'm from Georgia, and I too, received a call from these people, but since I'm not the home-owner...(he was away at the time) I didn't discuss anything with them. HOWEVER...I know the home-owner IS interested in somehow lowering the light bill. (It was $311 this month!) But I believe Georgia Power raises their rates in the summer months. (Which I don't think is fair at all, but what choice do we have?) They have the monopoly as far as power companies go around here. The same is true with the cable company.  My cable bill is almost as high as the power bill every month. All these companies are getting RICH!! Meanwhile, we're getting poorer trying to keep these enormous bills paid! >:[  Anyway, rant's over now...back on topic: That's exactly who it is: EPA..."Electric Power Association".

I have an appointment with them today at 1:00.  I'm hoping you get this and post your experience before then so I have some info prior to their arrival.  There are some federal energy tax credits around that amount, but it requires an upfront expense to install energy efficient appliances, insulation and/or windows, so that's what I think they are doing.  I'm not buying anything, so it's their loss.

08-10-2011 1030 AM I received a call from 912-227-5663 telling me that I may be eligible to receive $3800 in gov't funds to make my home more energy efficient and save me 30%-50% on my power bill each month. They(she) would not furnish me with any details for qualification for the funds or who would be required to use for making improvements and that the "technicians" would explain it all to me. Since this is the third time I have received a call from Electric Power Association, I set an appoinment for 10:00 AM for Thursday, 08-11-2011 to allow me to confront a representative of the caller. If one attempts to call back on 912-227-5663, one receives a message that the number is "un-callable". My appointment was given a confirmation #XL533. She was insistent on knowing the number of adults that resided in the home and inquired about my credit worthiness. I am not going to allow "their technicians" access to my home. PERIOD! This strikes me as an attempt to "mine information" to build a data base on every individual that allows them into their home. I will post more info after I meet them.
