Called asking for an unknown person.  I tried to take a message, but the person said "No thats OK buddy". Then hung up in my face.

I answered and they hung up.

Received a call from them today asking for our CEO by his first name.  I asked him to repeat who he wished to speak to and he said only the first name again.  I paused and waited and he finally gave me his last name.  When I asked who's calling, he said Russell with John Snow's office at IPA.  I Googled the phone number and got only call complaints for this number so I told the person that our CEO was not available and to call back another day.

The only connection between the name John Snow and IPA is a company called John Snow Inc that established an Independent Physicians Association in New Hampshire.  Since this call is coming from a GA number, I fail to see the correlation.

they call numerous times and leave no meassage....who are they?

We get multipal calls a day from 912-289-4847 asking for the owner and everytime they call they are with a different company. We called the number back and they said they had multipal different companies IPA, GPS and she named a few more which i failed to remember.

Our office has received the same call every day some times 4 & 5 times a day!  Always the same number 912-289-4847.  I notice the number come up on the Caller ID so I know what they person on the line will ask for.  And as usual I first am nice and courteous, they ask for the owner.  And of course you don't just let any one talk with your boss!  So I ask who is calling.  They always and only give you a first name.  Then I proceed to ask with what company they are calling from.  Some times they will hang up, other times they say they'll call at a later time.  And some make up bogus companies.  So I finally decided to call this number and they answered it IPA.  I asked the woman that answered to please take our company off her list and not call.  She told me there wasn't a "list" they have a data base.  So I asked her to take ALL our company numbers off their data base!  Let's hope this works!

Calls same time everyday looking for Matt Bremer who we have never heard of. They ask to speak to owner.

The company i work for has been receiving calls from this number on a daily basis.  Every morning I advise the caller that the owner is not in and ask if I can take a message.  They decline, of course.  One morning, I said, "This number calls everyday, and everyday I tell you that he is not in, can I please take a message, and I'll have him call you back." The gentleman on the other end of the line says, "Um..Well, I guess so. This is Jamal." and I replied..."Okay, Jamal, what is the number you would like him to reach you at?" and very rudely he says, "I thought you said you have it." This rubbed me the wrong way. I replied, "Well, if you don't know your number then fine, have a nice day!" and I hung up.  Someone from the same number called back about 5 minutes later.  I was pissed.  I asked the caller what the company's name was....IPA was his response.... I said,"Okay, what is it exactly that IPA does?" The caller says, "Well, I just need to speek with the owner." and I said "Well, sir, before I let you speak with him, I need to know a few things about your company."  THis went back and forth for a while. Finally I just asked to speak with the manager.  Mr. Jamal got on the phone.  I said, "Sir, I've spoken with you before, and your company calls everyday...No one there seems to know exactly what it is that you guys do....Please take us off of the calling list!"

I still receive daily calls, but instead of asking for the owner, they just don't say anything and then hang up!
