Regarding cell phone: Received this on 4/22/2014 at 5:36 pm. Whomever didn't leave a message, so not important.

Also on Monday, April 14 I got a weird text message "Happy Birthday Mauricio! All of us at Susan Partovi wish you a happy birthday. 301-990-0020" -- I replied text: "wrong person" -- received text "Invalid entry. Please call our office directly: & listed number again, as in original message. Anybody have an idea on this one? I didn't call.

Knowing I got above, I was very leary of a phone number with zero's.

Have had this number show up as missed calls on my cell-phone. If I call back, a recording tells me that this number has not been assigned.

KU Medical Center verifying an appointment

This is a doctors office. My call was from Amy to confirm my appointment, and my doctor is affiliated with KU Med.

In my case, this call was a legitimate call from the University of Kansas Hospital.

I get many calls from this phone number, when I pick up the phone I just hear many beeps.

For me, it was University of Kansas Hospital.

My call from 913-000-0000 involved a woman who asked for my name (my legal name).  I asked her who was calling and she said "Amy" then asked again if this was (my legal name).  I asked "which company are you representing" and she once again asked if I was (my legal name).

At this point I hung up.  If a caller will not ID their company or reason for calling I don't engage in a conversation.

I've got a similar issue except it isn't a human - it's a fax machine redialing.  I tried to send a return fax, but the number was busy for 20 minutes!

I received a call from 913-000-0000 when I answered said hello twice caller hung up

if it just says 913 then it might be KU Med, southwestern bell was lazy to put the whole numbers in, can't tell if it is my doctor, ER, Therapy, Spine Doctor, emergency, or my wife calling from her desk

It's the Olathe, Kansas Police Department....that's the number that comes up on your caller I.D. when one of their detectives is trying to contact you.
