This guy named Michael Taylor called me and said he was truck driver who was sold my wife's lost watch for $200. He found my post on Craigslist and wanted to return it to me. I looked up 913, and I dont know how a truck driver in Kansas City comes across a watch in Los Angeles in less than a day. He wanted $25 for the shipping. I asked him to send a picture of the watch so I knew I was paying shipping for the "right one". Never heard back.

this is scam ring. the FBI should investigate. they wait for people to leave their cars to go shop. they break in and steal bags or personal items. "Larry Gibson" calls you from a 1000 miles away having found your phone # inside your bag or whatever, describes the contents perfectly and poses as a good guy and promises to UPS back your stolen items from a UPS store in Chatham, IL that has no local phone number, and UPS doesn't have their local numbers either, neither google.. But first you must wire Larry $500 with a secret question & answer, that way he doesn't have to present an ID to pick up the cash you've wired him. He waits for you to give him the Western Union MT #, then he never sends you your stuff back. Turns out his phone is one of those prepaid Walmart phones. When you find out you've been scammed, WU has no way to ID him because of the secret question, and his phone isn't traceable. The local police won't touch him because he's crossed state lines/counties and its out of their jurisdiction. Not only were you f****d over by the theft, but then they f*** you over again with the Western Union good guy scam. Lo Jack your stuff. Don't leave anything in your car ever. Maybe this one will end up on TV

I got a call to return my stolen laptop for cash today. he promised to ship back my computer & ID it perfectly. he hasnt yet.

Re stolen item. Return for cash.
