They are pests...finally downloaded an app to block certain numbers - there are several on Google Play.  I then created a contact entry named "SPAM" and entered the numbers they have called from plus the numbers I found here!  Now, I just laugh each time they call and are automatically shunted to voicemail.  

I do owe them money, but that dosen't give them the right to call 4 or 5 times daily, or at 8 am on Sunday mornings!  Once a day with a legit, professional message gets the point across.

Frequent calls...usually they hang up when voice mail comes on...  I answered once...they asked for someone with my last name who's  not known here... then asked for my name.  I hung up without answering.

I got 10 phone calls from this company and I am on the do not call list.

I turn the ringer off on my phone, never answer or uses landline anyway. I have caller ID and can see who is calling. if it is someone i want to call back i will. usally not. anyone i want to talk to has my cell number.

If you have an HSN (Home Shopping Network) card, they start calling if you're at all late in payment.

I have been getting non-stop calls from World Financial, up to 25 in one day. My phone has Caller ID that keeps the name and time that the call was received. Unfortunately, it starts erasing names and numbers after about 45 calls. I have not talked with these vultures, but my daughter screamed into the phone for them to stop calling us and quickly hung up.  Result: They IMMEDIATELY called back and continued to call about every 2-3 minutes for 1/2 hour.  There have been times that as soon as my answering service takes the call, they hang up and immediately call back. And we, too, have had them call as soon as I hang up from a call I made or answered.  Has anyone had any luck in either getting them to stop calling or getting any money from violated fines? Is there any way to get the Attorney General to stop these hagfish from continuing their relentless attack on us? The economy's tough enough right now, and most of us want to be responsible and pay our bills. We don't need to be reminded every 5 minutes that we have failed the system because we do not and can not get enough money to go around.

this is so sad to read all these complaints.  World Financial take a hint, what are you gaining with these continous phone calls. Stay on the line and talk to people about any payments owed, calling someone all day is not going to get the billed paid.

What has happened to customer service in this country?

I was called a few times..I was a recording asking me to hold on and wait that it was a "Very Important message" I was a voice from another country like Australia. I gave it 5 seconds and hung up. I heard that people that call you can put charges through your phone as services.... The dates of all the above posted comments are 5 years old, I am going to block this number

My husband forgot a $62.00 payment on my Dress Barn account today is 4-28-12 the calls started at 8:27 am I received 8 calls that finally ended 12:02 I called them back and told them I was going to report them to our Attorney General and to stop calling me I asked for a fax number so I could fax them a statement to send me reminders and not to call me (they did not) I am going to find more about this company to see if they are licensed to do business in the state of WV  if they are not I do believe it is illegally for them to call I will also find this out from our AG

Recieve several calls from them daily...asked them to remove my name & # from their calling list.They repeatedly call back. GOING to turn them into the BBB, Consumer Protection agency and anyone else I can think of.

MAJOR harassment from (913)563-5520 - calling several times daily, including today (Sunday).  I blocked it (thank you, Panasonic phone system) so they hear a busy signal, but now they call using  (913)563-5502,  I have no delinquent bills, so not sure WTF they want.

I wanted to add this company has all of a sudden started calling my home number all the time over the past few days. Now I have a voip system and have since blocked all reference to their company from getting through so it's easy sailing for me but for those of you who are generally getting harassed by them call the FTC don't just com pain here. I was getting harassing calls from another company last year and I found where they were located and opened a ticket online with the police department local to their area showing them a call history of the company in their location. I lucked out since someone working at the police department knew someone working at the telemarketer and the harassing calls stopped. This is an extreme situation and the police are not really expected to assist with this but it cannot hurt if the police department located near where this company is located is at least alerted to the abusive practices of this company. Get mad people! take action against these vermin !

I have been getting calls from this number everyday...

We have been receiving about 5 calls a day from World Financial Network Financial Bank, for an account that was closed more than a year ago. We have informed them about this but they continue insisting. They even call early in the morning and do not care that people might be slleping at that hour.

I have received 3 calls alone today from this number and I want it to stop.  This occurs eveyday!

TheY are debt collectors for several companies. The worst I've dealt with. The person they call for hasn't lived here for years but they are coy and won't come right out and say who they're calling for! I know my wife and I have no debt nor have we dealt with any of the companies they represent. One more call and LAWYER!. The most unprofessional and clueless debt collector ever. The person they seek owns their own home and wouldn't be hard to find. WORLD FINANCIAL BANK IS IRRITATING AND CLUELESS.

I started getting calls from this number about a week before thanksgiving. So far I haven't received any on the weekends but during the work week I receive between 2 and five calls a day. The calls aren't all from this one number the last two digits change. I've looked them all up and they are either from that world bank place in Kansas or an unregistered cell phone. Very annoying. I don't use my personal cell number for anything. Only doctors and my lawyer have my number. I have no idea how my number wound up on this list. I haven't answered any of thirty calls because I don't answer numbers I don't know.
