Just got a call from these people (which I did not answer) who said there was activity on my U S Bank card which did not look legit.  I called the 800 phone number on the credit card and for the last two days someone has tried to use my card for dating services (been married 39 years and don't date)  the bank cancelled the card and are sending a replacement. 913-725-6115 did leave a message warning me of card fraud.  Best I can tell they are legit for U S Bank.  If you get a msg from 913-725-6115,  call your credit CREDIT CARD issuer to be safe.

Just got a call from this number, and they left a message saying they were from US Bank and to call back about possible fraud on my corporate card.  I called back and they did ask for the card number.  I said that I was not going to give out that info.  The man was very polite and said that was fine, and that I should call the number on the back of my card to see if there are fraudulent charges.  I did and there was.  My bank is overnighting me a new card.

This number is legit for US Bank. I called my credit card company first and they confirmed it. In fact they transferred me over. If you are worried, call your Bank and verify it. They prevented an unathorized charge from going through.

We received a call from this company. The (mumbling) caller left a VM about some supposed activity on one of my husband's credit cards. My husband called his credit card company (not this 915 number) and found that that 915 message was, in fact, correct. Someone in Georgia tried to open up a new account using my husband's credit card number and info. The bank canceled that card and is issuing him a new one. The bank verified that the call from Cardmember Services was legitimate.

It is a legit number to US Bank. I called the number on the back of my card though, just in case it wasn't. This is the 2nd time in about 4 months someone has tried using my card online for small purchases. This time it was Best Buy & PetCo, last time it was Walmart. The other time, my renewal dated card didn't show up in the mail.
The Fraud Dept. says they see this kind of activity all the time, small amounts are fishing to see if the card will work, large amounts knowing they will. I'm glad US Bank is doing a really good job detecting these fraudulent charges,  each time it happens, I get a new card, it takes 7-10 days to get the new one. That's a pain, but better than having my account drained.

This is legitimate.  Call the 800- number they left on your voicemail, or call the COLLECT call number they leave you if you're out of the country.  US Bank administers a lot of corporate cards.  That's what mine was about -- I was traveling in the Middle East and had a charge.  It was completely legit.

I received a call from an 800 number at almost 9 p.m., reporting a suspicious charge on my card. The charge indicated was suspicious but I could not follow through at the time because all lines were busy. The next morning the 913-725-6115 number called and verified that I indeed had an unauthorized charge on my card, a charge for over $67, charged in Jacksonville, FL. I live in Ohio. I then called the bank number from the back of the card and they verified that there was a suspicious charge. It was swiped so they apparently they made a card with my number. The transaction was made about the time I got the evening call, before 9 p.m.

I don't understand others on these posts who say this number is a scam. Any card number can be made into a card, whether it is a card number you always use, or seldom use. The card in my case is used regularly. Where they picked the number up is anybody's guess.

Seems to be legitimate.  Instead of the number they gave, I called US Bank's listed fraud prevention number and they confirmed the message.  Although they identified themselves as "US Bank," it is a third-party contractor.

Just got a call on my cell. We got rid of our landline a few weeks ago and haven't informed anybody of that change yet. So, it can't be legit, the bank and credit card company don't have my new number.

WE ARE NOT PART OF THEIR SCAM as many of you are stating.  I just took a call from this number and they were calling to confirm a charge that looked fraudulent on our company credit card issued through US BANK. The gentleman did not ask for any information just read me the charge in question which was a vendor whom we had just ordered parts from for a job we are working on.

7-25-2013         913-725-6115 Card Membedr SVCS Kansa City is a SCAM !!!!!!!! I took the number to my US Bank and had them call the number.  They said, "It's a scam".  If anyone on this site say's it's legit, don't beleive them.  They are sending out mis-information and probably are the scammer's.  The bank already knows your information, so they won't call you for it.  If anything is wrong they will ask you to stop in at the bank.

DO NOT call this number. I have contacted them and they asked for a lot of information only to say my account was fine. I was not able to find this number (8004270459) on US Banks website and their fraud department confirmed that it is NOT their number. Now I have to set fraud alerts with all credit agencies. Always call your bank directly.

Confirmed this number as legitimate.  Received a call from them and just let it go to voicemail.  I don't trust anybody that calls me from unknown numbers.  Instead of calling back the number provided I just called the number on the back of my US Bank card (Highly suggested to call the number on the back of your card anyway).  Sure enough the US Bank number from my card stated that there is a block on my account.  Few simple confirmations from US Bank's automated system had my account unblocked.  The reason they thaught my account was compromised was because of a taco johns purchase in my home town and a few hours later a purchase through Money Bookers in London, England.  They saw the purchase as actually occurring in London when it was actually an online order.

So please, if you are sceptical just call the number on the back of your card.  Be wary because numbers can be spoofed so some of the people posting that this is a scam may have been called with a spoofed number of a legitimate company.

I received a voice mail from this number stating that there was suspicious activity on my debit card. So I called the number they left and while I was on hold I had a bad feeling so I hung up. Then I did the right thing and called my debit card bank and explained what was happening. My bank verified that I had done the right thing, there was no problem with my card, it was active and no holds had been placed on it with no suspicious activity.

Got a message asking me to call back 913-725-6115 regarding possible fraudulent charge on my credit card. The number belongs to US Bank. There was indeed a fraudulent charge in a place I had never been. The charge was for $7. This is a typical charge crooks do to make sure card is valid.  Then if the transaction goes through they know the account is still good and they charge a lot more. Make sure to sign up for alerts on your bank website so you receive a text message or email right away when there is a charge made on your card (atm or credit).

This number is legit. The call got disconnected in the middle, but I got enough info to call my bank and confirm the fraud. I think they monitor several banks for fraud activity. I use US Bank. Someone had a duplicate copy of my card as it was a swipe transaction and I have my card on me. Crazy. Now I gotta change all my auto-pay accounts. Sucks a**!

Got a message on our home recorder from 913-725-6115 with a message to call back. We have an old recorder so the message is a little garbled so all I heard was the last name (and assumed it was for me) and he mentioned the last four digits of our Visa and a callback number. I immediately suspected phishing, so looked up all our credit card numbers - including our kids' accounts since I'm linked to them all.  Called USBank directly from the back of my bank card and they assured me none of our accounts was compromised. So a hoax? I thought so until I casually mentioned it to my husband when he got home from work a few hours later. Turns out it WAS legit - they'd called him at work and the card in question was his USBank CORPORATE card, which is why I didn't have the account number.  Some other posters are suggesting this is a hoax, my guess is the jerks that are stealing the numbers are spamming these sites hoping no one will call the bank and verity.  My suggestion - check your personal accounts AND corporate accounts and verify with your bank directly using the number on the back of your bank card.

Got a call from this number, no message was left.  If this was USbank's fraud prevention, then something is screwy, because while I have an account, I don't have a card.  Nothing could be found by the bank on my account, so if it's legit, it's real hard to say.  I'd say call your bank, not the number or the number they may provide!  Guess it's just as well that I don't answer calls that are unknown.
