I received a phone call from RFH and Associates on 08/22/2013; the person I spoke to was Bill Shears. They initially left a message on my call notes stating they were attempting to collect a debt in my name, which is not legal for a 3rd party collection agency to divulge on a machine--anyone could retrieve the message. I called Bill Shears back, and he states that I owe the remainder amount that Humana Choice PPO failed to pay. I advised him that my insurance is responsible for the amount, all I owe is the $10 co-pay, and that they obviously have made a billing mistake, since Humana PPO Choice has paid amounts worked out with in-network providers. I told him not to call me again, he began to argue with me, and I finally terminated the phone call by hanging up on him. I called back and asked for their physical address in order to report them to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, the Attorney General, and the BBB. He refused to give me their full address until I demanded to speak to the operations director (supposedly Nick Carraway). He was equally rude. If you are having problem with them, I'd suggest reporting them as well.

got a call today and they just hung up on me.

CALL FROM EVANS RECOVERY ABOUT SPRINT PHONE BILL. NEVER OWNED ONE, ASK IF ### WAS THE LAST THREE NUMBERS OF MY SS#, I REFUSED TO CONFERM. LADY GOT MAD AND SAID I WOULD HERE FROM THEIR LAWYER. SHE HUNG UP. THEY HAVE TRIED THIS SCAM BEFOR, SCAM ARTESTS.

The people state there company name is HRS

Call from Evans:Associates Attorneys @ Law in NY asked to speak with me and when told them the person in question was not available wanted to speak with the manager and when asked them what it was concerning they were very rude and would not give any information and stated they would see the person in question in court.

Called to verify employment, demanded associate personal information. When we refused to give out the information requested and told him he needed to follow proper procedure he asked to speak with corporate and said he was filing a complaint against me and my coworker. Very rude. Said his name was Nathan Brown.

I sure hope that nobody is sending this company any money still.  I found out they have been out of business for some time now.

Yes they call my job about a debt i owe and threating me if i don't pay it tha they will come an arrest me at the job. They did get a 130.00 dollars from me. But after seeing this i stop payment. They are crooks.Don't fall for it. I'm reporting them to the FBI. they also see me a statement out like they is legit.

I have received numerous phone calls from a Chris Hansen from this debt collection company concerning a debt that belongs to my girlfriend. This man has been rude, abrasive, threatens to have her put into jail and will not release a statement of debt nor give us a mailing verifying the legitimacy of this company. They will only allow us to settle the debt through a bank account number. When I spoke to this man and told him that no bank account information will be exchanged and that a money order is all we could use, he refused; Mr.Hansen then repeatedly assured me that my girlfriend will be in jail, when I hung up he called me back 3 times in a row each time leaving abrasive comments on the answering machine. I recommend anyone who has this number call them had better be blessed with a lot of patience.
